Normal Archer Number 3

She tried replicating it; no luck. I really wish I had some more solid evidence that this actually happened but we were totally unprepared for something so bizarre. I guess it's not that surprising though. There are some pretty strange bugs in older games, so it's probably just that, a bug. It'd be interesting to find out why, however! The Abel/Est thing occurred to me too! Almost certainly just a funny coincidence thouh.

So a friend of mine was playing Fire Emblem 1 for Famicom and apparently on Chapter 17 (the one where you retake Altea Castle from Moses), two chapters before recruiting Est. She had Catria attack an enemy Thief and somehow triggered the Triangle Attack, apparently...? The enemy was surrounded by Palla, Abel, and the attacking Catria, but no Est. For what it's worth, she had the translation patch applied. Has anyone heard of this happening? (I attached a screenshot of the aftermath, of course I don't have a cap of it happening because she was totally not ready for this.) Edit: It looks like the image didn't attach for whatever reason. I'm trying again.

This is making me supremely sad and I wish there were something I could do about it.... but alas... the last of the hope that it'll be released is drying up very quickly.
