    I'll go try and level up some less used characters and add them in.

  2. First off, you'll need an iso of the game. If you have the physical disk and a Wii, you can rip this using Homebrew, if not, you'll have to find it yourself. Then, you'll need the Dolphin emulator, which runs GameCube/Wii isos. Once you have that, you just run the emulator and open the FE9 iso, and then it should be running.

    That was just a general overview, but if you need help with something specific, I can explain in greater detail. Also, make sure your computer is powerful enough. Dolphin is very CPU intensive.

  3. This might be useful to you. Basically, the character and item data is in a different location compared to the console, so you have to account for that in the code. You shouldn't need to use the button activators as you can manually activate the codes in Dolphin. I would assume that is the problem, if not it might be that the characters weren't in the same locations as for whoever made the codes. In that case, just mess around with adding or subtracting increments of 0x3F0 until you get the right character.
  4. That 1-E strategy was absolutely brilliant.

    I noticed you didn't bother with the 2-3 Speedwing. I guess the Haar transfer kind of eliminated the need for it, but I was wondering how you planned to handle the 3-5 boss. I had originally thought Crown at 24 speed + the Speedwing but it looks the DB still has the 1-E one and of course 2-3 is out. Is he in OHKO range with the Horselayer?

  5. This is really impressive. Excellent job. I'm curious to see what you did for 1-E if Ilyana took Pass already, always thought that was pretty much essential to clear some of the later ledges.

    Would Thani help at all with the bexp needed for Micaiah for 1-9? I'm guessing not, since she gets plenty of magic anyway, but I recall being able to get that in a 5 turn clear of 1-2. Although it has been a while, maybe it wasn't actually 5 turns.

  6. At the current pace of a year between updates, this is going to take a very long time.

    Chapter 28

    16/132 Turns

    Since this one can't be sped up at all, the goal here is pretty much just to gain exp. Raven got most of the focus in that department in hopes that he'll be able to double some of those annoying Valkyries. The treasure here is also quite important, and all of it was obtained.

    6:47- From here, Ninian is just outside Ursula's Bolting range.

    7:02- The square Marcus is on is just outside Maxime's range. Saving him for later is a good idea, as he can be tough to kill and fighting him gives Jaffar more time to do something stupid.

    9:42- This was a positioning error that fortunately worked out.

    22:00- Letting Ursula live for a while allows more reinforcements to spawn for better exp gain, but she does have to die before you get overwhelmed.

    Enemy Phase has to play out here due to the positioning set up for 17-2. Marcia needs 3 shoves this time to reach Oliver.

    3:54- Marcia has 80 display hit on Oliver with the Short Spear. She pretty much broke the thing in this chapter, but with forged Javelins coming up, that's not a concern.

  8. Yeah, it would be. Killing either the Mage or the Pegasus Knight would clear the way. I ended up skipping enemy phase (it's not like Marcia really needs the experience) but there's no reason that wouldn't work.

    I wanted to do this all at once, but Part 3 will take a few more hours to upload.

  9. I think I actually will let Rhys use Rescue and see how it turns out. More BEXP for the combat units.

    2/72 Turns

    Pretty simple. Marcia takes care of the farthest enemies, and everyone else clears out the rest.

    4:42- Marcia had to use the Spear here. She was 1 HP short of the ORKO with the Short Spear, and the Halberdier has a Vulnerary, so he would go heal if he wasn't killed. The mages prevent stronger 1 range weapons from being used.

    Part 2

    2/74 Turns

    Marcia needs 6 shoves to clear this in 2 turns. The plan to get Mordecai forward to reach Marcia came out of a conversation with Raijectra on GameFAQs, who is also doing an efficiency run over there.

    3:06- Mordecai was supposed to be able to reach Marcia after one shove, but I put her in the wrong spot. Not that it made a difference.

  10. I really do hate to be a hater, but since Ike needs to kill Ashnard, he's getting the leftover BEXP so he doesn't promote early and miss out on some levels. Tormod might get some later though. It's either him or Astrid. Mist will need a pretty large amount as well in order to promote, unless I have Rhys use the Rescue staff instead. Which I might do, since he can at least be carried around.

    Chapter 16

    Base- Oscar and Kieran promoted. Ike used the remaining BEXP. Marcia got the boots (they'll help with a 4 turn here and a 1 turn of 17-4). I forged a max mt/hit Steel Axe. Boyd and Mist built a C support, and Oscar built a B with Kieran.

    410 BEXP

    I was only able to get one chest opened, so I picked the Full Guard. Devdan was not recruited.

    2:42- Titania actually only needs 4 shoves to reach the treasure on turn 4, but because she would end up on the same space as Marcia this turn, she gets an extra smite.

    2:49- Ike has to survive a Sniper, 2 Knights, a Myrmidon, and a Mage. Their display hit rates range from ~45 (Sniper) to 70 (good bio Knight). Since that combo could easily kill him, Ike uses a Pure Water to remove the Mage as a threat.

    4:52- Titania's positioning here is important. If she ended her turn on the lower side of the hallway, a Knight could come down and block the path to the door.

    5:05- There's no real need to drop Mordecai in the front. I actually was going to drop him with Kieran but forgot. The only thing that matters is that Mordecai can smite Oscar on turn 4, as he needs 2 shoves to break the door open for Titania.

    6:27- The crit was not necessary. Actually, it forces Ike to survive another attack, which is more unhelpful than anything. Normally, Ike would be surrounded by Knights here, but his path is still blocked, and Kieran still has to clear the way.

    7:40- A Pegasus Knight ORKOs a General boss. Something is odd with this picture, can't quite put my finger on it.

    Chapter 14

    Base- Oscar and Kieran got some BEXP. I forged a max mt/hit Steel Axe. Marcia used the Energy Drop so she can ORKO the boss with an Iron Sword forge. I didn't want to give it to her because she'll ram her strength cap, but she would have needed 2 levels of BEXP to hit 20 strength, and BEXP is at a premium right now.

    Makalov doesn't seem to be recruitable in a 2 turn clear, so I skipped him.

    0:23- I'm intentionally getting Oscar hit here. Mist needs to work on her staff rank.

    4:16- Marcia starts 4 spaces away from reaching the boss on turn 2, which is why she needs 2 shoves and a smite.

    4:24- It is possible to kill the boss here. Volke or Sothe using their full move twice from the front deployment slot then using a torch will reveal the boss and allow Marcia to kill him. Since that would mean missing the Laguz Lance, I don't want to do that here.

    6:57- Marcia needs 20 strength to ORKO the boss with an Iron Sword forge. The option I chose was to give her the Energy Drop, although BEXP would have worked as well. In addition, I could have given her an Arms Scroll and then used a Steel Sword forge, but I wanted to use the forging opportunities for more useful weapons first. Titania could have killed the boss as well, but since he has 50 crit, I went with Marcia to get WTA and increase the chance of success.

    Chapter 13

    I was able to open all the chests without using any Chest Keys, so that was nice.

    5:03- Titania and Marcia are the only ones who can ORKO the Halberdiers blocking the planks. Not that they necessarily need to be ORKOd, it's just simpler that way.

    10:58- I'm going to try and trade around the KW so that the units gaining a lot of experience will have it equipped. In this case, since Kieran is getting a Halberdier kill, he gets the KW. I'm probably going to miss opportunities as this goes on, but for the most part, I plan to trade it.

    16:39- Opening the last chest causes the Ravens to retreat, completing the rout.

  15. Nope, no Jill. Assuming I'm reading WoD right, the earliest Jill could be recruited would be Turn 6, which is a pretty big difference. Looking at the future maps, I'm not sure she'd really save any turns before chapter 18 since Marcia is in play, at which point Tanith and the hawks are around for more flying. Jill might be nice on chapter 13, but it can't be improved past 7 turns anyway. 14 and 15 are just rushes to the boss, I plan to have Oscar and Kieran promoted for 16, and Marcia rushes should be sufficient for 17-2 and 17-4. I originally thought she would do more, but after closer examination of the chapters, I changed my mind.

    Base- Ike's level was finished with BEXP. Marcia used the Dracoshield. I forged a max mt +15 hit Iron Axe.

    506 BEXP

    Marcia needs to be promoted for the 3 turn clear to succeed. Fortunately, I had just enough BEXP to get her there. Titania also needs to be able to ORKO the sword Cavaliers, and she also has to aurvive a pretty large number of attacks. All the houses were visited, Zihark was recruited, and all but one of the vigilantes survived.

    0:16- After the shove, Marcia can reach the arrive square in 3 turns. After the smite, Titania can reach the adjacent space in order to kill the Knight. Neither of them can be impeded at all.

    3:53- Though one vigilante needs to die to clear the path to Zihark, Lethe is out of range of all the others to keep casualties to a minimum.

    4:25- This needlessly complicated shove chain was an oversight on my part. One of my original (later edited) plans had Oscar visiting the Elwind house, which is why he went north with Kieran. Even though he's out of the way here, he still can kill the Myrmidon in Ike's way and make this only need one shove. That's something I should have figured out before the recording since Oscar kills him anyway, just later. And if he was where he probably should have been, Oscar could have visited the house himself.

    5:48- Marcia's job is to lure the boss out and make sure he can't get in Titania's way.

    This took a bit of figuring to come up with, but I did manage to recruit everyone in 3 turns. I only got one of the Chest Keys though, as I didn't have time to stop off in the boss's room. I currently have 5 uses, and should be able to ration them from here on out.

    1:06- In order to get the cell doors open in 3 turns, these Door Keys need to be used. The doors have 60 HP, so breaking them isn't viable, and Volke is just too far away. I had Titania open Nephenee's cell, although Oscar had a window as well. The cell with Kieran and Brom is a little more difficult.

    2:11- Lethe has to take Ike at this square. Lethe is the only other 9 move unit since Titania has to kill the Halberdier, and you need 9 move to escape from here.

    2:22- These two Knights pose a problem. If left unchecked, they will block the path to the cell. Since Titania was needed to clear the path to the exit, the best option here was Marcia. By weakening the one, she will kill it on enemy phase and prevent them from blocking her.

    5:34- Titania cleanly ORKOs this blocking Halberdier, so Oscar's chip wasn't really important.

From the spot where Marcia recruits herself before turn 5, if she rescues Ike, there are 31 spaces until the seize spot. Even with Marcia carrying 8 spaces, Titania taking and using her full move for 10 spaces, Oscar taking and dropping for another 2, 2 shoves from Boyd and Rhys for 4 spaces, and Ike using his full 6 move on Turn 6, the total is only 30 spaces, which is really unfortunate. If Boyd would be promoted, he could take and drop Ike in seize range for turn 6, but that would be a really large amount of BEXP that would be put to better use on Marcia.

    2:00- If the RNG works in Boyd's favor, he can make it to the Restore village before grabbing the Talisman. In order to get there, this Bandit will need to die. Boyd couldn't stop in the end because he needed to heal, but at this point, I was still trying to get there.

    7:28- This Knight needs to be taken care of before the rescue chain starts, as Titania needs to fight the boss the turn after that. Titania can also clear out the other enemies while she's down here.

    8:52- This was a positioning error, I forgot about the Fighter.

    9:04- Ike needs to be in range of Marcia to recruit her ASAP and start the rescue chain. Since the best one I could come up with fell a square short, Marcia will just carry Ike for the first turn.

    9:57- I gave up on the Restore village after this. It's buyable, so no big loss.

    16:55- Titania falls 3 damage short of a ORKO, so almost anyone can combine with her for the kill.

    Looking through the maps, it does look like recruiting Jill won't gain me a whole lot compared to all the time spent waiting for her to show up, so I'm going to skip recruiting her. I probably will end up training someone else instead, since I'm betting there will be a bunch of BEXP lying around.

    Chapter 8

    Base- Forged a max Mt +15 hit Iron Axe. I bought some Hand Axes and Steel Axes, sold an Ashera Icon, BEXPed Boyd until he could ORKO armors with the forge, removed Tempest, got Ike C Oscar, and capped off some levels.

    This was pretty much just made up on the fly since it's just a defend chapter.

    7:37- This was a stupid move. I wanted Boyd in front because he dishes out more damage, but since I blocked Oscar off from the Mage, Boyd ended up sitting behind him.

    11:12- Instead of healing Oscar, Rhys should have been in position to heal Titania next turn. She risked dying to a 26 display hit Poleaxe Fighter next turn, which wouldn't have been an issue if she was healed like she was supposed to be.
