SPOILERS FOR CHAPTERS 16-20 May seem like a ridiculous question, but a perfectly valid one. There really isn't much of a hint, because Excellus seems pretty androgynous. After Yen'fay's death, it is said "I could become the next princess", implying her being female. Yet according to the Fire Emblem wiki, he's a guy, with "he" and "his" used. Both male and female sages (save for Lissa and Emmeryn) have the same clothing style, and the voice of Excellus seems to be either male or female, slightly more female than male. The conversation between Avatar and Aversa in Chapter 22 has Aversa refer to Excellus as "he" Any thoughts?

I agree those would be problems, but I have a cousin who also loves FE, and on streetpass, we can absolutely decimate each other because of that. It would be good if we could actually face off against each other, but not at the expense of a good single player mode.

Though it's been said before, I'd like to see children characters like Lucina and Morgan (F), where the father needs an S-rank support. I like ironic characters like Inigo and Nah where their personality contradicts those of their parents. Some ideas for this would be -Lon'qu's extremely girly daughter -Vaike's weakling son (a mage, possibly?) Stahl's unique child Granted, this may seem better on paper, but if the execution is good, I would have loved to see things like that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While Awakening is an excellent game, there are a few areas that could have been improved. For one, there could have been more conversations between same sex characters and supports from characters from different generations (Eg. Tiki/Nah) Some supports I'd like to read are... Libra/Lon'qu, Panne/Nowi, Cynthia/Cordelia, any support revolving around Valm (Virion, Walhart, Say'ri, Tiki, Yen'fay, Cherche with each other), Chrom/Emmeryn, Gangrel/Emmeryn, Maribelle/Aversa (chapter 5), Ricken/Aversa (same deal), Priam/Chrom, Yen'fay/Lon'qu, Libra/Sumia (I thought that would be a nice couple), Priam/Basilio, Olivia/Basilio, and Lucina with various 1st Gen characters. Any more ideas?

I said Laurent, for the responsibility. But then again, I may be biased. The only other Fire Emblem fan I know IRL has compared me to Laurent before.

The only marriages I've done 2nd gen are: Morgan-Inigo (Lissa as mother) Brady-Severa (Frederick as father) Yarne-Nah (Ricken as father) Owain-Cynthia (Gaius as father)

I wish for Emmeryn they had her return in a way like Yen'fay, where he's not in power but willing.

I'm fine with both names, but I find Robin a better name for Morgan. Don't know why. Seems to fit his/her personality better.

I find myself not using Brady, Severa, Noire, and Nah. In the 1st Gen, I don't use Maribelle as opposed to Lissa and later Libra. I also sometimes find myself favoring Miriel and Henry over Ricken and Tharja. Also, I seem to have Cordelia>Sumia. Generally, characters like Gregor and Gerome get used more than characters I like less.

Best: Facing a streetpass, I used miracle on lethality, and it countered. I had more HP than the opponent, so she died. Worst: on my first playthrough (casual for first try), Frederick, Kellam, and Sumia all died on chapter 3. Stupid guy with hammer.

You should have an exceptional Laurent with the Miriel-Ricken combo. Brady wouldn't be too shabby with Henry. Tharja has better magic than Sumia, so MU is the better pick for Tharja. While it may not be the best option, Severa and Inigo has Armsthrift as a starting skill, so tomes like Aversa's Night and Valflame can last forever.

He was nearly invincible for me with Vaike as the father. Though his skill set may be limited, and his personality not that enjoyable, he can be a beast (har har har) when done correctly.
