    Okay, I was fighting a guy who would only play Mega Man, Toon Link, and Diddy Kong. He spammed and I died from my lack of skill.

    2v2 is also filled with Charizard and Dedede sidesmash and flare blitz spammers. I also saw the Pacman exploit on youtube and tried it once.

    Let the stress go and relieve yourself here. Don't worry all people who enter this thread will understand your struggle.

    I would always lose in Melee to my superior brother. The End.

    My other brother would go to Termina Bay in Melee and kill me by throwing me up into the main platform everytime and shout "Ness Pam Pam."

    Oh, and I would always use my action replay while playing DS games with my brothers to piss them off.

    Make it like Street Fighter where you set out to do something storylike, fight a bunch of characters and kill the rival character at the end for more story. Wario fights Luigi and takes his expensive mansion, Bowser fights Mario amd kidnaps the princess, after many battles Jigglypuff comes across Kirby and in the confusion of how similar they are they have a fight. Some characters could have an alternative rival if you meet certain conditions, like instead of Bowser fighting Mario, he'll go against Link. Don't animate the story, instead just give slideshows to show what is happening.

    You had kind of a rocky start with some of the threads you've made in the past, and I think that kind of hurts many people's impressions of you. You're getting better, even from some of the weird junk you've posted in the Fanart thread.

    6.8/10, your start was just too rocky. It'd be much lower if you didn't improve, so definitely keep doing that, and you're golden.

    I find this very offensive. Time to go cry.

    Oh, and I don't actually use hashtags, I'm just making up crap.

    Yes a Daisy dress would be cool. It could maybe be for Mii Swordfighter and she could use a golf club to attack. I don't see it going well with the Brawler or Gunner.

    Takamaru, Lyn, and Roy Swordfighters. If they added a Roy outfit and headgear for Mii Swordfighter I would happily accept that and shut up about bringing Roy back.

    Not to mention stuff like the general shape of Yoshi's island can be made for the Wii U version, sure it'll take a little bit for people to add in stages, but I can see it really helping out with stage diversity!

    However, the tournament setting CANNOT be split by customs and vanilla. Take for example the West Coast bans customs due to seeing them as unfair to fight against, but the East Coast doesn't ban customs and finds them fair to fight against, now every west coast player is handicapped when they go to the East Coast, and vice versa, tatics they normally use are either outclassed or not available to them suddenly. West Coast will have no experience fighting against certain techniques, and East Coast is deprived of what they normally are capable of doing in a match.

    There should be no split, otherwise the tournament setting will be really screwed over and it'll effect how long the comp scene will last and if we can compete with melee.

    Not by a lot mind you, but creating a unneeded rift between players for this game should be avoided entirely.

    Besides, the inclusion of custom moves doesn't prevent you from using the vanilla moves...

    Okay I was very wrong. People need to move on from the past and accept the future.

    Another use of custom stages would be too recreate Melee, Brawl, and 64 stages to fit the tournament setting. GameXplain already recreated the 64 Mario stage, the only thing that bothers me is the lava that is in place of the bumper. That could be easily removed so no problem.

    Lol, wut? Young Link, Roy, Squirtle, and Ivysaur are almost definitely not coming back. Ice Climbers are only coming back if they get lucky. We already have a Fire Emblem villain: Grima.

    I am 300% sure Ice Climbers is coming back as he was in both Melee and Brawl. Only cut due to limitations. I forgot about Squirtle and Ivysaur. I could see Squirtle coming back if we're extremely lucky (about a 2% chance) and Ivysaur is going to stay dead forever. Roy definitely has a chance now that Smash 5 has taken every franchise and there important characters. Although, I could see Kamui taking the place of the FE newcomer, but we did get Lucina as a clone, so Roy could be one too.

    I love Bulbasuar and Venosaur, but Ivysaur makes me want to throw up as all second stage evolutions with a third stage do. Bulbasuar is cute, Venosaur is cool looking, Ivysaur is a failed attempt to combine both and all should suffer a painful horrible death. For a new Zelda rep Young Link the strongest contender. Think of him as an easy to make clone like Lucina and Dr. Mario. Every game needs their clones.

    Something else I don't think anyone has mentioned yet. What about Krystal in Smash? We already have the hero, sidekick and villian, all is left is the girl. For the Ballot Krystal, as a Nintendo character she would definitely be unique with attacks involving her staff. But of course, Wolf should have higher priority, as she is a character created later in the series, but still is a major character like Rosalina.

    Just gonna throw this out there. Why not a Fire Emblem villain? You know someone like Validar maybe? Zephiel? Black Knight?

    Fire Emblem is just one of those series where evildoers do not fit.

    I am 100% sure we will not have three different Links in one Smash game. It's just pointless and overkill.

    But they aren't adding a new character, they are bringing one back, a recognizable face. Also, most of the good and important Nintendo characters have been put in already excluding Issac. Also, why would you hate such a character, his milk drinking taunt was the best.

    K. Rool is also ugly and stupid-looking as hell. I just don't like him, honestly.

    This is basically my greatest reason. He looks like a alligator on meth/crack too.

    Also, he's too big (Not joking). He is already bigger than Donkey Kong and scaling him down would ruin his character.

    Young Link is most likely never getting in again since we already have Toon Link as well as regular Link. There's just no need for three different Links in one game.

    I am 100% sure we will be seeing all cut characters from Melee and Brawl excluding Snake return in Smash 5.

    Pichu evolved so it's cool.

    But then what happened to the Pikachu from Melee? He's still out there somewhere and I won't rest until every fighter is reunited.

    Are custom stages counted as customs? If so, then I think that they should be allowed in the tournament setting as long as they only use move platforms and not lava or cannon. It would bring more variety and allow players to not be restricted by what Nintendo gives them. Wily's Castle could be recreated with moving platforms and no Yellow Devil. The moving platforms in Wily's Castle were unique and it's very disappointing that they can't be enjoyed without stage hazards.

    No equipment. Customs moves should be legal. I can see the tournament setting be split into customs moves and vanilla.
