I thought Force Awakens was good but it was a bit overhyped for a movie that ended up being A New Hope 2 essentially, I mean I get it, it's a new saga it has new elements but it lives in the shadow of the original Star Wars movie a bit too much.
It's good but I thought it was gonna be absolutely amazing.

Didn't ori win like two awards at the Gaming Awards 2015?
If you're talking about "The Game Awards" show specifically, it won a single award. There's a chance you'd like Ori if you like Metroidvania games, which I know you do.
$5 Portal+Portal2 pack; I might splurge on that.
20% discount on Undertale...people keep telling me to try this. Dunno yet.
Shovel Knight for $10 with add-ons looks neat...
Any thoughts on Fairy Fencer F? I've been curious about this one for a while.
1. Yes! Absolutely, Portal 1 AND 2 for $5? Wholeheartedly recommended.
2. I'd also say go for it, Elieson. It's a recent game so it won't go cheaper for a long time, pick it up. My second biggest recommendation of the four.
3. I'd recommend Shovel Knight it is one of the most enjoyable modern action platforming experiences I've had. It may go cheaper though so I'll let you decide.
4. I dunno what it is besides seeing it once on the store.

I saw how infectious you guys were on this thread, so I'm not surprised to see it again. If you can't beat 'em join 'em I guess.

Yes, but I won't mod it extensively until my first playthrough is done, I'd like to experience it like the developers intended in order to judge the game fairly, so I won't use too many mods until my second playthrough. That is if I want to start a second playthrough to begin with.
But that's only for a recent game, if it's an old game like Deus Ex and Baldur's Gate then hell yeah I'll mod it immediately so it can be playable.

I like the regular battle theme from FF7 and One Winged Angel.

That's great, consider this and see what kind of bright future is ahead of you. It's not guaranteed but maybe one day you'll play a popular villain or a new villain that gets popular.

I prefer big and stompy, but that's only if my war machine isn't a transformer. Because if it is then it can be both.

Hmm...so Undertale won as expected, now I got better things to do than watch people get salty about it.
So I'll just say congratulations to Toby Fox, you probably never expected this did you? No, and yet here we are, and your efforts were greatly rewarded. Undertale is not MY favorite game, far from it. But once again, congrats.

Yeah I've seen that, since there was still opportunity for more FE characters I'm not overly surprised, still I'm glad Corrin is getting his time to shine in the roster.
-
Yeah it looks like Undertale is going to win the contest, it's beating out Ocarina. Two very good games there.

I used to post on SF during my college time this year, but only during breaks lol.

Legit question, he was confirmed?
No, tomorrow's the day we'll know if he is.

I haven't played a Shin Megami Tensei game, but I will someday considering how good I heard it was, also considering that it spawned the more popular spinoff series Persona which became its own separate thing recently.

I already have, time and again, but thanks for offering.

What is the norm? What is normal is only normal to the person who accepts what he's used to as the "Norm"
And while we're on that topic, what do you think about turtles? I think they're awesome.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is my favorite game of the year, I'll say this so I don't sound like a broken record:
I like games that feel alive, it's not just a matter of making the world look good, or having the best effects, it's a matter of making the player's interactivity have absolute meaning to them and the world of the game responds to you and acknowledges what you did. The Witcher series is remarkable and Wild Hunt just took everything I loved about the previous games and amplified it. It pulls you to a fantastic main storyline with great characters and gives you side content that are just as good, and it just never ends.
