  1. You can add more characters with Nightmare, and the list is for playable characters.
  2. I've been told that before...I'll learn. Unless you want to help out? That would be helpful.
  3. Maybe your DS has something wrong with its GBA slot thing. You could get it repaired by Nintendo, they have a repair order page on their website. They do a good job, I sent my GBA sp to them because the L and R buttons didnt work. When I got it back it looked like it was brand new. Havent had problems with buttons ever since.
  4. It's a hack of FE8, rather ambitious I know, but hacking will be easier than trying to make it from scratch. Plus I have too good of a plot to give up, and some of the characters in arent mine, so people are counting on me.
  5. No screenshots yet, once I get more characters in there will be. This will be a replacement/spinoff of RD. Notable features: - Ice magic. - Laguz having two weapons, for example cats have Beast Claw and Short Fang. - Wolves in their own tribe, the dog tribe. - Herons can fight with their own version of light magic. - Class differences. - Brandeds get a +5 bonus to a certain stat growth, depending on which kind of branded they are. Bird = speed, Beast = strength, Dragon = magic, Dog = skill. Story tidbits: - No Daein revolution, Ashnard's daughter(Nyra) was crowned Queen after her mom finally stopped lying about who her dad was. The Dawn Brigade is not working to free Daein, they are searching for Nyra's older half brother(Pelleas) who is the true heir. Nyra inherited her father's personality though, and she plots to avenge his death, even though she never met him. Two sidekicks join her cause for their own reasons. Xemar is a power hungry Goldoan, he's on her side simply because he likes having the authority. Valmas is a Begnion noble who went psycho after he lost his wife and newborn son, Nyra convinces him that she can help him get his revenge on the world, so he basically becomes her puppet. - Crimean rebellion is still in, possibly the Laguz Alliance vs Begnion thing too. - Yes I know Class list(arrow means promotes to, slash means there is two promotion options): Myrmidon -> Swordmaster -> Trueblade Equip: sword Archer -> Sniper -> Marksman Equip: bow Fighter -> Warrior/Berserker Equip: axe(fighter, berserker) axe and bow(warrior) Cavalier -> Paladin/Ranged Knight Equip: sword and lance(cavalier) sword, lance and axe(paladin) sword, lance, and bow(ranged knight) Thief -> Assassin/Night Striker Equip: knife(thief, assassin) knife and dark(night striker) Soldier -> Halberdier -> Sentinel Equip: lance Priest -> Bishop Equip: staff(priest) staff and light(bishop) Wyvern Rider -> Wyvern Lord/Wyvern Trooper Equip: lance(wyvern rider) lance and axe(wyvern lord) lance and bow(wyvern trooper) Pegasus Knight -> Falcoknight/Pegasus Trooper Equip: lance(pegasus knight) lance and sword(falcoknight) lance and bow(pegasus trooper) Climate Mage -> Climate Sage -> Archsage Equip: fire and ice(climate mage) fire, ice, and staff(climate sage) fire, ice, thunder, wind, and staff(archsage) Weather Mage -> Weather Sage -> Archsage Equip: thunder and wind(weather mage) thunder, wind, and staff(weather sage) thunder, wind, fire, ice, staff(archsage) Shaman -> Druid -> Necromancer Equip: dark Monk -> Minister -> Saint Equip: light Knight -> General -> Marshall Equip: lance(knight) lance and sword(general, marshall) Troubadour -> Valkryie Equip: staff(troubadour) staff and sword(valkryie) Beast Tribe: Cat, Tiger, Lion Equip: beast claw and short fang(cat, lion) beast claw and long fang(tiger) Bird Tribe: Hawk, Heron, Raven Equip: sharp talon and hooked beak(hawk) shining spell and vigor spell(heron) sharp talon and dark beak(raven) Dragon Tribe: Red Dragon, White Dragon, Black Dragon Equip: fire breath and dragon fang(red dragon) ice breath and dragon fang(white dragon) thunder breath and dragon fang(black dragon) Dog Tribe: Wolf, Fox, Coyote Equip: dog claw and sharp fang And here's the unit count. I crossed out the classes I have enough of, everything else is fair game. I'll need these: Name Race(beorc, laguz, etc. brandeds get stat bonuses, so tell me where their laguz blood comes from if they are.) Class Affinity Country History(are they an orphan? were they raised in a household with 10 kids? did they train themselves? were they somebody's apprentice? etc.) Personality(do they say exactly what's on their mind and not care what people think? are they a troublemaker? do they sit around and not talk to anybody? are they so smart that people call them a walking encyclopedia? etc.) Fighters: 1/2 Knights: 1/2 Soldiers: 1/2 Archers: 3/3 Troubadours: 1/1 Myrmidons: 3/3 Wyvern Riders: 2/2 Pegasus Knights: 1/1 Thieves: 2/2 Climate Mages: 0/2 Weather Mages: 0/2 Monks: 0/1 Priests: 0/2 Shamans: 0/2 Cavaliers: 0/3 Prepromotes: 3/5 Cats: 2/2 Tigers: 1/2 Lions: 0/1 Hawks: 1/2 Ravens: 0/2 Herons: 0/1 Wolves: 1/2 Foxes: 1/1 Coyotes: 1/1 Red Dragons: 2/2 White Dragons: 0/2 Black Dragons: 0/1 Added as units: Juan, Ether, Eric, Carbina, Terra, Mark, Stefanie, Kurda, Alicia Added as bosses: Azhozn
  6. I didnt say it was all the bandits' fault...
  7. Yeah I should. Too bad I havent played FE4...yet. Oh ok *throws a kit kat, snickers, milky way, butterfinger, baby ruth, 3 musketeers, and hersheys* One of those should be something you like.
  8. This is officially the most random forum topic I've ever seen in my entire life. Read the entire thing, all 3 pages, made me lol. *throws kudos bars at Hika and Meow* You can eat those when you're done...just don't roll over on them XD
  9. Yeah, that's why my cat OC was orphaned. Him and his parents accidentally slipped into Crimea, the only reason he lived is because the attackers thought he was dead when he was really unconsious, and a couple of soldiers from the Crimean royal army rescued him and raised him beside their own twins. Since I didnt know which game it was from, I couldnt tell whether Naesala had a point or not. In RD though, he's WAY wrong. Well I never read that timeline, so yeah.
  10. Was that convo in PoR or RD? And I'd have to side with Lethe there...Crimea and Gallia have an official alliance, etc.
  11. I thought it would be interesting if we knew more about them. We know a certain beast tribe gang hangs out in desert ruins and hoards treasure, and I'm pretty sure the hawks and ravens that loot merchant ships count as bandits. In PoR, Jill tells Lethe that she was taught that laguz are savages from a young age. Which makes me wonder if laguz bandits contributed to that belief. Maybe some of them attacked a beorc settlement, causing more racial tension than before? Discuss.
  12. Then I'll see if google is any help :)
  13. I recall that he had a relationship with a cat... And off topic: the last 6 lines of your sig are 50% funny, 50% disturbing.
  14. ASM hacking huh? So is there a tutorial available anywhere? As for the music, I have a bunch of mp3 files that I want to replace the music with, will Sappy be able to handle that?
  15. That would mean he didnt meet anyone else but those three...unless those are the only three he had supports with?
  16. Well we now know this: Brom was planning on hooking up his oldest daughter with Zihark, but she ran off with somebody else(good for her, I'd probably do the same thing) so he sent Meg after him instead. Maybe Brom wants a grandkid with steel blue hair or something? Why else would he do something like that...
  17. Yeah and if it was meant to be true to history, Mist would have like 5 kids by now o_0 I'm serious, in the middle ages people got married and had kids as soon as they were...mature. Seems crazy by today's standards, but back then people didnt have very long life expectancies, so they had to. Brom didn't make a very good choice anyhow, Eddie/Leonardo/Tormod/Rolf seem closer to Meg's age. It seems like he just wrote the names of a bunch of guys on little pieces of paper then pulled one out of a bucket. Arranged marriages suck though. I'd hate it if my parents did that to me, but Meg doesnt seem to care. <_<
  18. How would I go about these? 1: Changing the music. 2: Skills. I'm using FE8 since it has a primitive skill system. The skill system I want to put in uses default skills, custom skills, and mastery skills. Default skills use a skill gauge, which is like the laguz transform gauge. It increases every turn, and at the beginning of the chapter it's as full as the skill stat.(a unit with a skl of 8 starts out with 8 points on their skill gauge for example) When the skill gauge reaches 30(the highest it can go)you can command the unit to use their skill. Custom skills and mastery skills have activation percentages like the skills you're familiar with. Some skills and conditions take points off the skill gauge, and an item called ginseng adds points to it. There'll be scrolls that teach some skills. 3: Status conditions. Burn - drains skill gauge, similar to poison. Freeze - can't move or fight, similar to sleep, fire does extra damage and defrosts the unit. Paralysis - can't move or attack, but can retaliate. Sleep - can't move or fight. Poison - drains health. All conditions can be cured by waiting 4 turns or by using a restore staff. Burn can be cured by the cooling gel item. Freeze can be cured by the heat wrap item. Paralysis can be cured by the shock potion item. Poison can be cured by the antitoxin item. Yes I know sleep and poison are already in there. 4: Changing or removing the intro scene.(before the title screen, if you don't push any buttons it plays) 5: Changing the class roll.
  19. Krevin from FE Empire...hey it's DarkFyre. Happy Bday :P

  20. I like selkies, because their focus attack is safer. You don't have to run like hell after focus attacking a powerful enemy or a boss...clavats charge into the enemy with their focus attack, selkies stay in one spot. But that's just my style. I like playing sniper :) I've never completed the game...pathetic I know. On my file I'm in Mt Vellenge though, and am I the only one who thinks the music is too happy sounding for a final dungeon?
  21. Because if they put that in there they'd have to bump the age rating up. I personally wouldnt mind blood though... But lots of other T rated games have blood in them. The blood in Zelda Twilight Princess didnt even look like blood. At least the stuff that came out of Beast Ganon's belly wound, it was a whitish goldish color. Maybe being warped by Twilight changes the color of blood? And there wasnt enough blood coming out of enemies to really be noticeable... Huh.
