  1. Nintendo seems to have changed the ability for you to change the region of your My Nintendo account to do this more easily, so I made another method. If you do not mind playing in Japanese and are morally against sailing the high seas (or simply just want to play FE6 on your Switch), this is for you. This will work for FE1, 3, 4, and 6. You will need an existing Nintendo Switch Online subscription and (for FE6) pay for the expansion pass.

    1. Go to the My Nintendo website and create a new account. Set your region to Japan while creating the account. Do NOT pay for a new NSO subscription for this account.

    2. Create a new user for your Switch in the system settings, or use an existing user with no My Nintendo account linked to it.

    3. Go to the E-shop with this user account.

    4. You will be prompted to link a My Nintendo account to this user account in order to access the E-shop. Link the new Japanese account you created.

    5. Once in the E-shop, go to the NSO section and download the desired app. Download the Famicom app for FE1, the Super Famicom app for FE3 and FE4, and the GBA app for FE6.

    6. Once downloaded, log into the app using the user account linked with the My Nintendo account that has the active NSO subscription and NOT the one linked to your new Japanese account. While loading the app, they will only check for an active My Nintendo account. They will not check for your region, so these apps will work just fine.

    7. Enjoy playing Japanese Fire Emblem.

  2. So I wanted Roy to get an A rank with Sue this playthrough. They currently have a B rank, and Roy has a C with Lance and Alan, so Roy has one support conversation left.

However, it seems that no matter how long I support grind, I cannot seem to get him and Sue to A rank. He has a conversation with Lilina that he has not used. Is this blocking me from A rank? Should I kill Lilina? My instinct says no, but figured I should ask anyway. Thanks.

And yet, the people going to JPN, telling Monolith and IS what they can and can't do, are members of Treehouse, the localization company filled with SJWs, soy boys, beta males, feminists, tumblr users, etc. I played through Xenoblade 2, and it just didn't click with me as much as the first game did, and I think Treehouse's meddling is why.

Not even a little surprised you turned out to be this time of person. Easily offended, bro?

  4. What I miss in Fire Emblem since the GBA era is paired endings that do not involve love. I'd like to have S supports that link 2 units to a possible paired ending. (And so they don't need to limit amount of supports to 5.) Obviously that wouild also mean that no unit should be able to support every other unit, but I am okay with that because it means no pairings would need to feel forced. (Or perhaps limit who can S support with who.) And obviously some pairings will involve love/marriage, but that should not be the only type of paired ending.

And scrap kids entirely unless they already existed before the plot happened ffs.

Which of these do you like the most (Whether as a character, unit, design, or all 3) of the following categories:

    Lord: Lyn, Eliwood, or Hector

Cavalier: Sain, Kent, Marcus, Lowen, or Isadora

    Mercenary: Raven or Harken

    Myrmidon: Guy, Karel, or Karla

    Fighter: Dorcas, Bartre, or Geitz

    Brigand: Dart or Hawkeye

    Knight: Wallace or Oswin

    Pegasus: Florina, Fiora, or Farina

    Wyvern: Heath or Vaida

    Thief: Matthew, Legault, or Jaffar

    Bishop: Serra, Lucius, or Renault

    Mage: Erk, Pent, or Nino

    Archer: Wil, Rebecca, or Louise

    Refresher: Nils or Ninian

One Class Wonders: Priscilla, Merlinus, Rath, Canas, or Athos

These are pretty much the ones I find most useful. Thief is weirder though. I like Legault as a thief, and I also like Jaffar but only use him for combat.

Also, keep in mind that sales being good for a musou game is damning by faint praise. Nintendo likely set expectations to be on par with HW, so underperforming that threshold is not good.

Because it released on both Switch and 3DS at the same time, it also likely needs more sales than HW's initial expectations too.

It sold exclusively for the New 3DS, not the 3DS in general, so I doubt there are all that high expectations for that version. Most people who have a 3DS aren't going to buy the new one when it can't play that many more games than the regular 3DS. I really don't see the logic in people thinking that FEW sales need to be on par with that of HW.

  7. Looking forward to this game so much! All the negativity about the game's roster really affected me and I became really negative for a while. The leaks really got my excitement back up though (especially Celica)! This game may even surpass Hyrule Warriors as my most played game. :)))

  8. Ophelia or Scarlet.

Scarlet may seem an odd choice, but if it is true you can hit her with Tankumi (Ballistician Takumi), you can easily activate Vantage, her personal, and Awakening all with consistency and ease. With this setup, and a good 1-2 crit' weapon (Barb Shuriken?), you can easily reach 85% crit'. Add Gamble and it becomes 95%. Assuming Master Ninja for the S-Rank, you hit 100% crit' without calculating for skill, pair-ups, or having to use Death Blow. Food for thought.

Ophelia is similar. She doesn't have the ridiculous personal Scarlet has for the build, but she doesn't have to be subject to friendly fire to start crit'ing either.

Another idea could be Midori. While not as powerful as the aforementioned two, with something like Quixotic/Hoshidan Unity/Nohrian Trust/Vantage/Awakening, a crit' weapon, and Kaze supporting with Miracle/(Favorite/Four/Proc/Skills) you get quite the spectacular light show.

Scarlet is not available in Revelations.

  9. Robin was a much better character. Corrin is the definition of two dimensional and while Robin isn't exactly three dimensional, they are still an improvement given their moral ambiguity and not seeming as simple-minded. Robin wins.

Gameplay-wise, I liked Robin but Robin was too good. I like having at least some limitations on characters. You could get nearly any skill you wanted with Robin, let alone being able to max stats easily like with everyone else. It's boring. Corrin's personal classes are also just plain better. Corrin wins.

  10. I liked the DLC, although I do wish it were slightly harder... The only difficult part is the beginning when you're rushed from both sides. It was awesome to play a map with Forrest in the lead role. He's my favorite character. "Welcome back to the world of the bipedal." LOL (Also his portrait for the Grim Yato transformation was cuuuuute.)

What Azura said about memories has pretty confusing and vague. I didn't really understand. That aside, HoF I had you use Birthright children (male Corrin seems BR canon as well) and fight Conquest children. HoF II had you using Conquest children to defeat Birthright children. It seems HoF I involves a realm in which Corrin was male and chose to side with Hoshido, and HoF II involves another realm where Corrin is female and chooses Nohr. So they're attempting to tie at least Birthright and Conquest together. I assume some tragedy struck both realms because Anankos was never defeated in either.

  11. Yes, the formatting or the Serenes Forest site for the DLC is confusing.

First Blood is the prize for Hidden Truths 2, and Fell Brand is the prize of Hidden Truths 1. And I'm pretty sure that everyone has to live.

  12. So I'm under the impression that the Heir of Fates series is meant to sequel Birthright and Conquest in a "this is what happened since you didn't stop Valla, lol" sort of way? I'm ok with that.

I liked the pre-set units and no experience so I just have to focus on strategy, and not leveling everyone up.

  13. I can agree on Leo, but I'm not seeing where your getting passive-aggressive and sassy from. He's really only like that in his paralouge, and that's really only because his dad (Leo) is being a huge prick in general. After his paralouge most of his supports show him as a pretty gentle guy, who even makes a whole outfit for Rhajat depite Rhajat literally going up to his face and saying "I hate you".

I was confused too. Like, he was nothing but sweet in all the supports I got for him. I didn't see any sass. If him telling Leo that if he can't be accepting, then Leo isn't good enough to have Forrest as a son is considered "sass", and not him telling his abusive father off, then you have a pretty skewed idea of sass is.
