  1. Hey, uh, I have a sprite sheet that I'd like to add to the bounty list (a helmet-less edit of the male paladin that I made) but it says to PM those to Klok, and Klok's banned so who should I send it to?
  2. Thanks! The Paladin did take quite a bit, though it was kinda easy. Just a lot of copy/paste. So, question time for the animators: Should I try to go full-custom now, or should I keep doing edits to get the hang of things before going full-custom? I ask because I tried to go full-custom a few hours ago, and the results have been pretty catastrophic so far.
  3. Well, I started over and just got it finished. I'll wait for some last-minute feedback before I make the unarmed dodge (took me so long to notice this sheet didn't have one XD) and start figuring out how to code it for hacks.

    I checked those, but they only talk about making an idle frame, and they're geared for people who have some basic knowledge on this stuff. They also don't talk about map sprites at all. But thanks for trying to help. I'll just try and figure things out myself. Maybe someone will do a tutorial someday.

  6. Well, I just tried doing that but Paint isn't letting me edit the palette (or even check the palette), so I'm kinda stumped. Oh well. What do you think of the new hair BTW? Anything I could improve?
  7. Is the hair better now? BTW, do you remember me? I did a map for your hack a long time ago. Also, can anyone who uses Usenti help me with a little issue? Every time I open the picture with it, it thrashes half the palette.
  8. Have you checked Matt Snow's mountain tutorial? It's pretty well made. Helped me out a lot when I started making mountains. I recommend you start making maps without mountains and just leave learning that for when you have a decent grip on map making. By the way, everything in this topic is free to use as long as I'm credited. I also take map requests (especially for hacks).

  10. Here are some ideas for names. Notes: -Names between asterisks denote nicknames and aliases. -Children have the same surnames as their parents. Kanna and Shigure would probably have different names if you go Nohr. -Azura and the avatar both have a birth name and an adopted name. -When Hoshidans refer to each other by their full names, they do it Japanese-style (so Takumi would be called Byakuya Takumi, Setsuna would be Kyudo Setsuna, etc), while Nohrians do it normally.

So I've been playing around with AR codes from this topic (the actual codes, not the code creator thingy) during my recent playthrough of the game, and everything was working fine and dandy for a while. I used the EXP codes, the Gold and BEXP codes, and the item codes and they worked without a hitch. Right now, everything... Still works perfectly. Except for the item codes. See, I can find item slots, edit remaining uses and properties, and even spawn items in the slots just fine, but the problem is that they come out wrong when I spawn them. No matter what I try to spawn, it comes out as a nameless, unequipable weapon with weird stats (like, 1 Hit or 0-96 range), the symbol of some other weapon or item, an X where the name of the weapon type should be (the rank is always -), and a high max use. Example codes: 0484DB4C 80B66180 Here I try to spawn a Seraph Robe with 0 uses (which become 256 when I use it, this apparently breaks weapons but not items) on Nolan's first slot. It worked perfectly when I tried it in part 1 (along with some other stat-booster codes), but now it doesn't work. 0484DB4C 80B63250 0484DB50 0F000000 Here I try to spawn a Tomahawk with 15 uses in the same slot. Tried it in part 3 and it didn't work. What could have gone wrong? Is there some way of fixing this? I'm on Dolphin 4.0 BTW.
  12. I mostly suggested this because of 1-8 (in which 2/3 of the slots are unfairly taken up by Jagens), but I guess it wouldn't matter much if this went all the way. Forced units don't really get in the way after part 1, so whatever. One worry I do have is that it might mess up the dialogue a bit if units that are supposed to be there aren't deployed.
  13. Are you going to change some characters' availability? Because some people (Lucia, Tormod's group, etc) could really benefit from getting some extra chapters. Some suggestions: -Give some characters extra chapters to play in, as I mentioned. Lucia and Elincia could join along with the CRKs (actually, maybe you could change the CRKs and Lucia so they are playable during 3-10, so they have a chance to get some extra EXP), Tormod's group could join on 3-1 or 3-2, Ena could join on 4-1, Jill and Fiona could be made available during 1-8, Pelleas could join on 3-13 if he doesn't die, stuff like that. -Buff magic. Most Tomes really need some extra MT, and some more uses wouldn't be too bad either (it's mostly the Siege Tomes and SS magic that need the extra uses). -Make the NG+ bonuses available in a normal NG (most people that will play this likely will have already played the original version once, anyway). -Maybe give some weapons extra uses as well (like making ranged swords/axes/lances have 25 or 30 uses). -Add more enemies with higher levels to part 1 (including some T2s starting around 1-6), so there's more EXP to go around. Maybe promote a good deal of part 2's T1 enemies as well. -Make Sothe, Volug, Tauroneo, Tormod, Muarim, Vika, Nailah and Rafiel not forced in the chapters where they're forced. -Change Shove and Canto's cost to 0. By the way, how did you get Nightmare to load the game? I couldn't get it to load it. Good luck with this project.
