Game says: "Build a team with different strengths/weakenings, so you can deal with every kind of enemy."
I say: "I see. What 'bout using just one class?"
Game says: "You will need a healer as well."
I say: "Who are the healers? I'll let them die."
Game says: "Chrom is a hero and you need him to defeat the endboss."
I say: "Okay, than I'll never let him get a kill, so he
can't get many exp."
Game says: "There are many units you can recruit. Use them well, the more units you have the better."
I say: "You now what? I'm doing a solo run."
I think that subscribes my way of playing games very well.
If someone tells me how to do it, I'll ever try to find another way.
This may make me kind of a noob, 'cause in most cases I really have no plan about what would be the best way to beat a boss or something like that, but after all I have a lot of fun and know a lot of ways to do it, without using the 'normal' way.
Rescuing Maribelle and Ricken with the Rescue Staff from Paralogue? May do it, but isn't that boring? I prefer little games like "Rescue them without moving them", etc.
You see, I'm not playing like I should and this really causes a lot of problems sometimes, but it's a fact that "I want to play a game - not let the game play me."
