  1. I myself are still stuck at chapter 10 in my Nohr-Run, because I just kinda ... well, put everyone except of MU in a corner and looked, what happened. First Chapters were easy, from chapter 5 and upwards I used to not even take Elise onto battlefield anymore, because she was more a pain than a help. (Not to mention Aqua, but at least I got her out alive, so she can stay back like everyone else.) Did some pairups via MyCastle just for fun and had no trouble recruiting the kids, since MU didn't take any damage at all. So, after a lot of maps that I just finished with MU soloing everything, I stumbled into Chapter 10. And yes, I DID realise, that I might have a little problem defending 4 tiles with just one unit. Tryed it at least - MU is not getting any remarkable damage but hell, there's no way I gonna get that done. (Did you know, that the enemys don't dare to attack you, if they would deal zero damage? They just walk straight up to the files you try to protect. ~.~) It was fun so far, though. I would've never thought, that I could get that far with only one Unit in Nohr/Lunatic.

  5. Yes, I know about the Falchions strength against Grima. But I also know that there are many ways to get him down, even if they aren't that easy. I'm sure that I can manage to beat him without Chrom or Lucina, and even if not, there still will be Chrom, who can't die - so if I really don't get it without him, some li'l grinding will make him usable. I actually hope Grima will be less weak in Lunatic+. He couldn't even kill my last Avatar on Lunatic with two critical hits. With Chrom I was able to ORKO him and without the Falchions it was like "hitting him, until I land a critical". (Yup. I took just MU with Partner and ignored all of the weaker enemys. They suicided every enemy phase, without landing one single hit. Booooring!)
  6. Ahh, thank you. That give's me a real chance to get him down with MU. (I tryed it over 10 times and he always had Luna+ and Hawkeye. That's why I was wondering if this is set.) That has two reasons: First, I planned some pairings for gettting child units, that will have the skills I want them to have. Chrom hasn't any stats or skills that fit in my plan. And secondary, I reaaaaally hate him and I will not use him or his family more than I need to do. (Lucina will die Ingame, that's for sure.)
  7. On my first playthrough I didn't even know that there is another way than marrying Chrom. I kinda hated him and when I found out FeMU can marry every of the males, I startet a new game and married Henry. I kinda like that guy. I actually tryed out every possible pairing (not just for MU) and the more I saw, the harder it became to decide.
  8. I know, but I can't let Chrom come near to MU, because of the pairings I plan. (I try to make him marry the maiden.) I really just need to know, what skills the boss can get(if they change) or if they can't change.
  9. Phew. I finally made it through Lunatic (Grima was so easy to ORKO ...) and now I started on Lunatic+. And this is much harder than I thought, really. Actually I'm stuck in the Prologue, but I guess I just need some luck with the enemy's skill there. Anyway, can someone tell me what skills the boss could have, or are they set? (Last time he got a one-hit on MU with a krit. Sooooo annoying!)
  10. Okay, it wasn't a problem to ORKO Grima in Lunatic, but man, Lunatic+ is goddamn hard for a stubborn like me. Stuck in the prologue. But.I.do.not.use.Chrom. Never!

  11. That's right, I do have a lot of space for Staffbots, but I just love to play around with rescue. (That Item is so amazing!) So I guess he'll be a Sage for playing around with rescue, or a Dark Knight, which is a class I really like. I still have time do decide that later, right now I'm trying to kill Grima in Lunatic. And I also see, we're going off-topic ... So thanks again for your help, I learned a lot from your advices.

  13. Oh, I didn't expect that.Then he'll be a War Monk. (I don't need another Dread Fighter, I guess.) Thanks to you, now the whole planning is done. Yippieee! Need to get through Lunatic fast, so I can start Lunatic+. I see a lot of grinding comming.
  14. I am. Stahl is used to be father of Owain. Ah, right. Libra would be my second choise, but I guess he'll be better because of his classes. What class would you suggest than for Inigo? I think he could go both ways, physically and with tomes. Sage could be nice, but he wouldn't be as good as Brady, right? I think she goes with hero than, because of the higher Skill. Oh, and I guess she'll not give a high mag suppot than, so using Inigo with tomes is kinda stupid. Hm.
  15. Yeah, but still I'm kinda stubborn with that. Even if it doesn't make sense after all. This sounds like a good idea. She should work fine even without Galeforce, I think. (There's no way of using Donnel for me. His stats are so lowww.) I think a extra pair wouldn't hurt, wouldn't it? It has not to be perfect. So ... what about Lon' qu!Inigo together with Vaike!Kjelle? Does that sound okay or are there better father's left for them?
  16. As long as I put Chrom behind a bot, there's no reason to make a Chrom!Kjelle anymore. I'm happy with the pairings I have now, so I don't like to switch around with that. But I'll find a way, I guess. Anyway, thanks for the good advices, they might have saved me from wasting time with building useless stat- and skill sets.
  17. That sounds fine by me. I don't care about the loss of Yarne's power, as long as I can get what I want. Fun is still more worth for me than good stats, if it's about MU. Ahh, now I got it. Too sad that she can't use any good weapons as a Manakete, I'll really have to change her class. By the way: I figured out that I did a mistake last time, when I said that I can't make another pairing of child units, without getting in trouble because of a missing staffbot. I didn't realize, Kjelle is already out, so there are just 4 pairings in there, but 5 Staffbots. If I take one Rallybot away and let Olivia stay out as well, I could have one more pair without any trouble. 5 Staffbots, 4 Rallybots and 5 pairings should be able to do it, right? Now the only question is: Who should I choose? Since Inigo can be a mercenery for Armsthrift and can get Ghaleforce passed down from Olivia, he sounds like a good unit for me. But who should go with him? Kjelle or Noire, who would be a better support for him? (Yeah, I didn't name Lucina. She's Chrom's daughter, you know? And I hate him ... but I can't let him die, because that would be a game over. But when Lucina dies, that's no game over.)
  18. Well, I didn't look on this before, but I knew choosing asset/flaw would not just affect a single stat. I used to go with +Mag -Luck, but since I used Armsthrift together with sorcerer-class a lot, I feel well with +Skill -Atk. But that seems to be a waste of Yarne's Atk +10 support, when he is a Berserker. Can't I make him some class with higher Mag support? I wouldn't like to switch to a physical class with avatar after all ... So I'll choose between Virion and Lon' qu. That's not easy to decide, but since I used Dark Flier a lot before, I guess Virion will be a great father. (It's better to use a class which I really can play, isn't it?) Hm. But I'll just use her on second place, so Luna+ shouldn't be a problem, shouldn't it? I still don't get that point but okay. Maybe I'll just have to try it out, so I can see what you mean by my own eyes. Yeah, I know about the slots in Apo. (Can't plan a team without knowing how many units you can take, can you?) I should be able to keep Olivia out of range, if she goes with the RallyBots, who need to stay out as well. If she can survive one hit, things will be fine.
  19. First of all, thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. It's really nice, that you try to help a noob with serious answers. I thought of choosing Skill as my Avatar's asset, worked fine for me like that. But why do they have to be physical? I'm actually a big fan of the sorcerer-class for Avatar, since she can learn skills from other classes and as sorcerer is able to attack from behind with mire or can spam celica's gale ... Guess Yarne's support is physical-based? Anathema and Aggressor are already in my "useful skills"-list for Yarne and Limit Breaker is a must-have for every unit, I think. Since I get one pair of boots Ingame, why not use them to give MU some movement, so she don't has to be in a high-movement-class? So you think Sage is a good choise for Brady as well? Hurray, I did one logical thought! Severa needs to be physical, that seems clear to me as well. But actually I wonder if Frederick is the best choise for being her father. Is he really that good from stats? I already tryed out Morgan as Hero, Assasin, Wyvern Lord, etc. and it was quiet boring. That's why I choosed Dread Fighter. So he can use some magic, if his enemys are weak against it - that's why I used Henry and Yarne. Henry gives him some Mag. and Yarne is physically good. Still his weakest stat will be Mag, but everything else should be well balanced over 40. Since I don't have(and don't plan to get) All+2, Mov+1 looks fine for Cynthia. Huh? Changing Nah's class is nothing I've thought about yet. Just hearing everyone saying "Manaketes are so OP!". But maybe you're right. Manaketes are just powerful against enemys like Wyvern Lords, I guess. So you say Stahl is a good father for Owain? I'm still not sure what class I should choose for him. (Something physically, I think.) Hm, then I'll put him behind a bot. Oh, wait. Now there's one slot left unused! Owww, what can I do with it? Another Rallybot? Or should I put away one Rallybot and make another pair of child-units? No, wait! Then there would be more pairings than Staffbots with rescue! Hm. Maybe I should start using Olivia ... Is there a good way of not getting her killed? (It's like the Chrom-thing. Only difference is, that in most cases, I didn't want her to die.)
  20. Wow, that's quite what I expected. I still have no idea of what would be good and what's as good as trash. (Still playing Lunatic to unlock Lunatic+) So, can you give me some advices, how I could make this ten units usable? Except of this MU, Morgan, etc. pairings, which I will use even if they'll have no chance, because I want to have fun, everything else is not set. I want to have Nah, Brady, Severa, and Owain in my Team(Kjelle can be replaced with another, if more useful), and one should protect Chrom, cause I just love to see him die and ... well, if he's not with another unit, he'll die, no matter if it's Apo or just Ingame. (I really hate him.) Killing the enemy before they can attack you is the best defense, I got that. What skills do you think should be on focus than? Any special or is every attacking or stat-rising skill fine? (And could you please write the name of the skills out? I just know the german names, so I have to translate everything and LB is like "I have no idea what this is, but it sounds cool". 'Ya know?)

  22. Oh, you're right. I really forgot mentioning that. Two units shall be able to rush into the enemys, kill 2 per turn and then get rescued. Of course I can't always rescue them out of range, so they should also be able to take some hits. They will need Galeforce to attack twice in a turn. Since they have Galeforce passed down I thought Severa and Owain should be fine. Morgan is able to use Galeforce as well, but I want him to stay longer in enemy range and lure some enemys if needed. He should be able to clear a little area, so that he is out of range for one turn. In this turn I can switch to Cynthia, who could use rescue staff to move another unit there. Cynthia should at least be able to survive 1 enemy turn, when she's attacked. MU will be used as NosTank, first she has to lure enemys away from the units with weak defense. Since she is more a Tank than a fast killer, she can't make it through the enemys as fast as Morgan, but she can get rescued by Cynthia. I also need one unit to protect Chrom. This unit don't need to do anything than "staying alive". I think Kjelle's right for that, but if you know something better, please tell me. The partner of Severa and Owain will just be used as support, so a lot of support-skills and high stats would be very useful. Hope I explained it right this time ... Edit: Oh, and I'm not talking about using them Ingame. Other things like ... maybe Apo.
  23. Hello, I'm planning my pairings for Lunatic+, which I will (hopefully) start in the next days. I like having things settled before starting a run, so I want to ask if the pairings I thought of are okay or if there's a better way. I will use 5 pairings and some Spotpass-Units for Rally/Healing/Rescue. As you see, there are only 10 units I have to worry about, because everyone else will not be used. (Except of beeing used as father/mother for another unit) One of my biggest problems is, that I always run out of weapons right in the middle of a fight, so I thought of having one armsthrift user in each pairing. First of all, I'll use a Yarne!Morgan. Henry will be father of Yarne. So Yarne will not be really good, but Morgan should have just the right stats for using him as a Dread Fighter. Morgan will be married with Gaius!Cynthia, which will be a Bridge. Not the best choise, I know, but there are just some units I have to have in my "family". It's still a game and if I'm not having enough fun with some units I like, I would just start the whole game again. (Stupid, indeed.) Second, because Yarne is married with MU, there's no other way for me than taking him along. These two will be the second pairing. (Would be a waste, not to use MU, wouldn't it?) With the third pairing, I'm starting to getting unsure. I plan to use Frederick!Severa paired with Ricken!Brady. Severa will be able to have Armsthrift, Aegis, Pavise and Galeforce and should be fine taking out two enemys per turn without getting a lot of damage. While she will do the normal damage, Brady can help her out with some magic. But I'm really not sure about that. Of course, Armsthrift on Brady would give him the ability to throw as much Celica's Gale on the emenys as he want, but the only way to pass him Armsthrift would be Donnel with his horrible stats or Gregor, which would pull down his Mag. So what would be best? Another pairing I thought of is Stahl!Owain with Gregor!Nah. Because of Stahl, Owain can get Aegis and Dual Guard+, Galeforce will be passed down by Lissa. And because the need of one Armsthrift per pairing, Nah has to choose between Gregor and Donnel. Donnel looks kinda useless for me, so I took Gregor. Last and least will be Chrom with his daughter Kjelle. Chrom has to join nearly every battle, so I sadly can't replace him and because Sully wouldn't survive long, I choosed Kjelle. Kjelle can learn Aegis, Pavise and will get Aithir from Chrom. She also can get Deliverer, which would give her some movement. Now I look up on my pairings and see not a single unit with Luna. Must have done something wrong. Any idea, how I could get the best out of this 10 units? (And yes, I now that Laurent can be OP and that Olivia is very useful, etc. But I choosed this ten, so I will go with them, no matter how good any other unit could be.)
  24. Naw! I just turned MU to a mercenary after getting to Chapter 23. Before that he was a assasin, which was just right to rush through all the "kill-boss"-maps. Chapter 23 was the point when I decided to start grinding and get him some useful skills like Aegis, etc. (Beeing one-hittet to hundred percent from every critical hit is kinda annoying.)
  25. Okay, than I'll try this out when MU has done his change to Sorcerer. (He's still a mercenary, because I wanted to get armsthrift) Thanks for the fast help.
