Oh thank goodness! It's true about the information being rather dry right now. I think I felt like their was less news because before we'd get info every feh banner; but if it's just one person in there freetime then that makes sense why it's slow at times. I'm really thankful for all that you guys do! Fire emblem is my favorite game series so I appreciate having this website as a resource! I was just worried of the site going down. Thank you for the response.

I don't quite know where to post this so please forgive me if I put this in the wrong area. Is the group of individuals that run Serenes Forest ok? The amount of content posted on the site has slowed down by huge amounts. As someone who follows this site and relies on it to keep me updated on fire emblem news I wanted to know if they're all alright or if the site is dying or something. Thank you for anyone that can give me any information. If I did post this in the wrong area can someone point me in the right direction?

Oh, so that's how they handled it. ya I agree, I like it as a mechanic but I REALLY don't like the big plot holes that follow. I do like the characters though.

I have been gone for the forums for a while, but I looked extensively and I didn't see this thread anywhere so i think I'm safe. So, how did they explain the kids this time around, is it the same time shenanigans? different time shenanigans? magic? alt. dimensions? I'm dying to know.

ya, that's why I put it in red, unlikely. but if Rod Knights cant become Dark Knights then its even more likely that Dark Mages become Dark Knights and that it's more unlikely that they will become a Revenant Knight. I will make the appropriate change eventually. do you know what also seems unlikely to me? a princess mounted unit leaving her horse to become a maid. nevemind read another good point on this from above ^_^U .

I just hope they can class change into something that can wield SPEARS this time (dangit Donny!) I'm assuming that villager will have to follow the same rules as the other classes and have only two promotions. one I'm hoping is lancer, and the other one I have no idea...kinda hopeing it's Oni because I haven't seen another one yet.

It seems like trickster has been changed into adventurer. sounds like everything's the same except it has to use bows instead of swords.

Ya I went and re-watched the class video and she defiantly was wearing diamond patterned leggings(?) thats enough confirmation for me ya, very fair point (though class changing a villager in awakening and they can't use their spear). I edited the list to take off dark knight. I don't know about Priestess being connected with monk just yet, I feel it might be a specific class of Sakura's just like how Revenant Knight might be unique to Camilla. I've made the connection on the list, but for now I put it in red. I thought that maybe Weapon Masters might be connected to lancers because they also could wield Naginatas, but with Freelancer being confirmed to Lancer it seems REALLY unlikely, so for now its off the list. Edit: the charts have been updated ^_^

I had made the connection between Rod knight and Dark Knight because I didn't see any other thing working. hmm...Rod Knight class changes to Maid/Butler? how did I miss that news? kinda seems weird to me that Elise a PRINCESS would class change to a maid, I always thought that it was its own independent class, but if skills prove there's a connection then I'll edit the list either tomorrow or sometime next week. Hello, I'm also still pretty new to this site, so welcome to the forest! ^_^ I would normally make the connection with the priestess and monk class, but then Sakura would have 3 possible promotions, though it could be a possibility that she shares at least one of them, but for right now I'll leave it off until there's more proof.

So, I know we've seen all the classes but I've noticed that we are missing a class chart, so I decided to try and make my own. what do you guys think? is there any corrections or suggestions? I really wish we had a class chart. I'd even make one for this site if I knew how. ^_^U (and hopefully my pictures upload correctly...)

But Kamui isn't Garon's son, all Kamui is is a tool to use against Hoshido, and after waiting so long to see the fruit of his labors, Kamui strait up apposes him. I wont argue that Garon isn't mad, i don't think he's completely insane, but i defiantly think he's over paranoid. honestly I also think Garon kidnapped Kamui because of whatever hidden power he might have, which also makes Kamui a threat if he does decide to go against him, and that fueled with paranoia can cause someone to not care about what his children might think (at least in my opinion). and regardless i get the impression that Garon doesn't really care that much about what his children think in the first place.

to me it seems like Fire Emblem is going through a big change, it almost died, and now it's stuck with the dilemma of making an enjoyable game for veterans while trying to bring in a new audience to continue to breath new life into the series, i feel like they're experimenting with a lot of things to create a new balance for the series, i feel (or at least i hope) that after this trial period fire emblem will balance itself out and be a game we all can enjoy, but i don't by any means feel the series is dead, and i feel like this is still going to be a fantastic game (well, at least for me it will be). in time i feel things will improve. as for the kids, i don't have any big problems with them, to me it seems like that they will be brought in with some parellel world spirit magic thing, and i am perfectly okay with that, i do hope they wont be seriously involved in the story though.

I'm looking at Garon's reaction to Kamui/Corrin like this. He originally kidnapped Kamui/Corrin because he viewed him as valuable or maybe just as a giant middle finger to the Hoshido. regardless, it seems like with the conversation with Sailis(sp?) that Kamui/Corrin had his share of disappointing shenanigans(honestly this part of the point is kind of a stretch though) and it comes to a boiling point where on his first test to prove himself Kamui/Corrin not only fails in his task in killing the enemy, but he directly apposes his father, at this point Garon looks at him as a frustrating waist of time and decides to cut his losses. as for trying to kill him a second time, it would be a continuation of the frustrating annoyance part along with him potentially being a spy. to me Garon's actions seem very reasonable for a harsh tyrant.
