  1. Just curious, how is it smart to make your invasion infinitely harder, as well as making sure more blood is spilled? He actively goes against his normal pragmatism and Xander's original plan.

By killing a guy who will betray and manipulate people just to save his own skin? I dunno. Whatever.

  2. Note: I saw somebody on here (don't remember your name, sorry), that said recruiting a spouse's family member would be interesting and I agree. They went on to talk about how this could also serve alliances and stuff. I have to agree, I think this would make more sense to have an already trained member of another persons family be recruited than 'suddenly children'.

That does sound more plausible. Skill and Growth rate inheritance would still be tricky to handle though.

  3. I know there are topics like this floating around but I was curious so I made a poll.

For my money, I have to say I'm mixed on there being children. I do like the mechanic in theory but the lack of a viable story reason makes me hesitate to even bother recruiting them.

As for them being in future games, I won't say no but I will say wait a while. Far as I'm concerned, the mechanic has worn its welcome for the time being.

  4. Niles was one that actually surprised me with how much I like him. The whole wanting to make everyone suffer put me off at first and I wasn't a huge fan of his first couple of supports with Camilla or his C support with Arthur but after actually reading the rest of those supports as well as some other ones like his and Nina's he actually really grew on me. He's one of my favorites in the games. Plus, his in battle quotes crack me up. He also has one of the better voice actors in the game.

Arthur is one I figured I would like but I didn't expect him to be as enjoyable as he is.

Also Leo. I liked his chapter in Birthright. Also, that bit where he killed Zola in Conquest. One of the few times a character actually did something smart.

  5. I'm going to another one for a Hoshido character since I did one for Nohr.

    Name: Achal

    Mother: Rinkah

Class: Oni Savage (because only getting one of these without reclassing annoys me)

Personal Skill: Fiery Soul-When HP is not full, Def +4

Description-As a child, he was very restless and often got into fights. He always had a sturdy body and is able to take hits that would leave most people crippled. He admires his mother's strength and challenges her to duals often. While not a troublemaker, he can be very stubborn and will wander off on his own to look for fights if he is kept waiting too long. His paralogue would revolve around him leaving his Deepreal against his parents instructions and challenging a gang of brigands by himself. Has the densest bones.

  6. I'd like to take a crack at this. Just for fun.

    Name: Del

    Mother: Selena

    Class: Fighter

    Personal Skill:

Description: He is competitive like his mother but is much more friendly with his rivals than Selena is. In fact, Selena is the only person who he gets irritated with. Despite this, he does care for his mother and tries to get her to lighten up. The loudest whistler.

    How's that?

  7. I haven't been bothered by most of the changes. Some of the name changes are odd but far from rage inducing for me. The whole lack of face rubbing never bothered me either. I just want it to be here so I can get my FE fix!

  8. Hm, this is a tough one but I think I got something.

Concentration: When fighting the same enemy multiple times in a row, stats +1. Resets whenever I fight a new enemy.

    Or if that's too OP. . .

One Step Ahead: When an enemy attacks, automatically equip any weapon that has an advantage against it in the weapon triangle. Doesn't work if I don't have an appropriate weapon in my inventory.
