I totally understand you. I'm personally not too worried about spoilers this time since my Japanese has tremendously improved since Awakening was released in the West. My brother also just told me that he ordered both the Nohr and Hoshido edition so we'll be playing together in late June. I won't be around here that much in Late June and July. I'll be willing to give out spoilers (Of course, I will tag them) if people want demand it. Strangely, although my Japanese is pretty damn good now, I've still prefer Western releases of games. I don't know why.

I wouldn't do that. When Awakening was about to come out, I decided to look at all of the new classes and skills... while encountering major spoilers which ruined the game for me. Be really careful with that.

Came out in the west a month later than the Japanese release, would you be willing to wait then or would you still spoil yourself silly? Note this is a hypothetical scenario, I and others know this game won't come out in the west till 2016. Personally, I would like to go into this game blind and fresh but I wouldn't be able to resist the spoilers so I would give into it. If the game however comes out a month after the Japanese release, then I can totally wait.

Whoa Leon, don't just mark it off yet. From that screen shot of the stat screen we've seen. Marriage info could easily be under that book icon. I think we should wait and see if there is marriage or not.

Will there be romantic supports? Yes. I'm 99% sure there will be since that is a staple of the series? Will S support return? Most likely not since that was only added in for the sake of the children mechanic, which seems very unlikely that if will have an 2nd gen. Then again, we didn't known that Awakening had a child system for a while as well...

I feel awful for laughing at this. Through, I wonder why Garon would take Kamui after killing Daddy Hoshido. Yeah, they got Aqua as a prisoner but Garon could've killed Kamui right then and there.

Doubt it. It's explicitly mentioned that she is "innocent."

That actually makes a whole lot of sense. But the way she's portrayed in official art and her class, something tells me she would be this divine, goody two shoes. I can't really see her hating anybody. at best, she would have some resentment.

And I don't see why she needs to be evil. :P We don't even know her name yet or what she even is.

I know and know but...Well, there's nothing wrong with wishful thinking... Man, I just wish Aqua would turn out to be evil and Garon turning out to be a pretty decent guy.

I know he seems to be the typical big bad and all but what if he isn't as bad as we think he is? Judging from the Nohr siblings (Presuming he is the father of course) behavior and their affection towards Kamui could mean he isn't really a bad guy... or it could mean that he's an evil bastard that happens to love his kin. What do you guys think?

I doubt it. From what I read, it explicitly says that Aqua was taken as a prisoner, try comparing that to Kamui being raised in Nohr.

Is it just me or it seems like FE14 has quite a bit Jugdral/Gaiden references. Kamui's class being Dark Prince/Princess, Similar backstory to Altena, no weapon durability like Gaiden, and etc...

AKA the new kid in town? They would probably wonder why Kamui is barefoot.

Me too. I really wish they didn't reveal Aqua as a Nohrian princess kidnapped by the Hoshido. I felt that could've been put under wraps.

If you ask me, it seems we have been getting tidbits of new info every week ever since the April direct while this week gave us a lot of news. Would it be right of us to expect some news every week from now on since the game is coming out in a month for Japan?

Generic? Kamui clearly has a different swordplay compared to other Lords in the series if you actually watched their gameplay once. There's a lot more to swordplay than just swinging it around.

I'm a bit surprised that most people here think the that most lords would join Hoshido. While I disagree, it's an interesting perspective I should look more into.
