I've been wondering for a while because everyone seems to have a different preference, if it matters or if they all end up pretty much the same. If you use 2 or more of the cavaliers choose either your favorite or whoever ended up strongest.

I'm on my first playthrough so correct me if I'm wrong but Navarre seems better then Athena to me. He starts about 5 levels lower but with close stats and slightly lower sword level.

I'll agree with that I admit Shriek is so bad, I never use it and as such completely forgot about it

I think that when they are forged a spirit either donates power or is trapped within the blade (the 1st for light likely, and the second for dark) Then maybe whenever they are used the spirit/spirits power is used. This is assuming that there are dark spirits which I believe there are.

I'll agree with that as well as because he's required and other wise he sucks when not transformed

I like Ewan as a super trainee better then a sage because he gets dark magic which (in my opinion) is better then staves when you have so many other staff users

Yeah but that wastes a perfectly good paragon, which if you use right would get you twice as many levels overall giving you better stats and more levels. The only time that would be a good combination is if you were trying to get someone to level 20 Third Tier and you wanted best stats possible but that would still take awhile, too long for me at least.

I agree with that but what about Riev from Sacred Stones. From what I gather from the story line he was never what qualified as a "good" person. About Biship Oro in Sword of Seals I think he kept his magic either because he was too powerful for the spirits to break the connection (as with Kenneth) or in his mind he still believed he was doing good and so that increased his power The reason people thought Micaiah and Soren were spirit charmers was the brand, and I'm not sure about Dark Tomes being so rare, I mean once you get Pelleas the shop has dark magic to sell, and in Blazing Sword and Sacred stones as soon as you get a dark magic user almost all the shops/vendors sell dark tomes

I like Rangers better because they give him a long ranged and a short ranged weapon
