Pretty self explanatory, but if Niles, Oboro, Naverre, and Owain were playable at launch (like they honestly should have been), which characters do you think should have been DLC alongside Azura, Minerva, Linde, Tharja, and Olivia in their respective packs? My personal vote: Fates Pack: Charlotte to represent Nohr and Kaden for Hoshido. Kaden would also use stones like Tiki, but would have his own totally unique moveset that has him transform into a kitsune for his awakening. Meanwhile because that pack would then still have two unique movesets with Azura, Charlotte could be a Lissa clone. If I recall correctly, Lissa's staff stuff was kept to her special/awakening so any magical seeming attacks beyond that aren't that far fetched since Minerva exists as a Camilla clone. Plus the falling over actually fits her whole pretending to be dainty thing. Both characters are also popular enough to appease fans even if it's just more Fates stuff. Also - although I'd love Felicia or Jakob, I personally consider them out of the question since they'd require a new weapon type entirely. Shadow Dragon Pack: I would say Merric, but I feel like he would be treated as a Linde clone and two of the same moveset in a pack doesn't look good at all. So in that case my vote goes to Camus as a lance cavalier. I honestly wish all the DLC packs were able to stick to the Fates pack's honestly rather fair two new and one rehash for character movesets and Camus seems like a great choice. Not only does he make the weapon triangle completely represented on horses, but he also throws a bone to SoV fans since you'd at least get more supports with the same VA as Zeke doing the same voice. Awakening Pack: This one's hard for me because I'm extremely biased, I'll acknowledge that right away. Inigo is my favorite FE character in general so of course I want him. Even though he's known for swords, they could have also considered making him a Bow Knight. It's not like he hasn't been one in Cipher and it's not like Warriors looks to Cipher for inspiration or anything. I'd personally also have wished for Severa to be in the game as well just because of the Fates and SD crossover support potential, but in this situation it's one over the other and I'd go for Inigo here. If not Inigo, because I'm pretty sure the Warriors team is hesitant about child characters, I say Gaius as a unique thief style sword unit. He's the only top 4 first gen to not be in the game so I feel it's only right for it to otherwise go to him. I honestly wish those 4 were in the game from the start so we could have had an even more varied roster by now. Cordelia being the only character not important to her game's overall plot at launch kind of sucked, so I wish these DLC packs could have even further expanded to fan favorites from the three games even beyond what they actually have. Even hoping for a Season 2 of DLC would hopefully not tap into these ideas because I think we'd all rather them expand to other games (Celica and Lyn should no longer be alone!). It's still fun to think about what could have been.

Here's the stat modifiers for either Sakura or Felicia: Sakura: Str: +1 / Mag: +4 / Skill: -1 / Spd: 4 / Lck: 2 / Def: - 1 / Rest: 0 Felicia: Str: -1 / Mag: +4 / Skill: 0 / Spd: 4 / Lck: 2 / Def: - 1 / Rest: +1 They're pretty so much the same. I went with Felicia because of randomizing the marriages and I'd say they make a good Rhajat. not to mention pastel pink Rhajat is perfect So basically either on works really well! Having two options gives you the ability to pair one off to someone else if you want to do that more while still having a good option for Rhajat's sake. Overall it's up to you from here.

So far I only have a few kids in Birthright only. I randomized all my pairings so Kaze and Sakura got put together. I really loved their supports as a couple but didn't think they may have made the greatest pair for Midori. Boy was I wrong! The combo is Astra and Death Blow is deadly and it's rare for her to not kill anyone she attacks. With all those criticals, I'm also super glad that I love all of her critical quotes. To to mention I have been using Boo Camp as money grinding by avoiding all enemies that are aggressive and pairing up units with my avatar, Mozu, and Midori to increase their odds of getting a gold bar each turn. Thanks to her personal skill she actually gets a whole lot of them. Not only is Midori useful, but I really like her character... minus the fact that she's so obviously not an adult. You're not convincing me, Treehouse. :\ Elise and Hayato are more believable than her tbh

I will buy some skills as well (I actually bought Profiteer for a few of my units when low on money to try a boost it some more so I could profit from challenges), but unfortunately not all the units online have the skills I might want. Seriously getting Replicate on Orochi was so annoying when she was getting only 1 exp per kill with 2 for bosses

Yeah, I'd rather be spending my gold on seals rather than challenge maps that can be over twice the price. It doesn't work very well for straggling units which really annoys me, but for those of higher levels, it at least gets them skills faster. I'd say it's alright, but compared to Awakeing's grinding map, this is quite the bit of a let down. I also only have it because Map Pack so I'll use it 'cause I have it.

I just visited a Valla castle and Elise was in the arena. I love it but I can't believe she says "scumbag" in one of them. I forget the exact quote, but the other Nohrian soldiers are gonna have to deliver to beat Elise saying "scumbag".

I have a feeling this map is going to be much more effective for units that gain only around 1 exp per kill in a normal battle elsewhere. I promoted Sakura asap and that's exactly what happened around Chapter 10.

I also just heard Kagero say "You have breathed your last!"

This is one of the worst ones I saw before starting the map Later one with Pavise spawned. Later a Stoneborn appeared with the Freeze ability which is honestly kinda scary. Best for me to not train Setsuna here because she's already been murdered.

I'm pretty sure that's the time my email from Amazon said I would get the download code for the map pack. I really wish they would have followed Amazon's example for this. As someone who doesn't attend school anymore, waiting till noon is now just extremely annoying. :\ I know it's a petty complaint but still...

Some personal favorites of mine as someone who's only played Birthright (though have been to Nohrian castle arenas): "You're just a stain" - Felicia (I actually think it may be one of her best delivered lines) Kaden's laugh "You're a bad apple" - Mozu (the goat one is good too, but I like this one a bit more) "Hope you like hell" - Rhajat "You're gonna need stitches" - Oboro "Time to take out the trash" - Jakob "Smile! Your dead!" - Soliel And I probably wouldn't list it otherwise but one of Laslow's is "Stop staring at me" while in Awakening Olivia had "STOP STARING!". I love seeing him get one similar to his mother's. This makes me really hope one of Odin's is similar to "Clear a path, everyone" and one of Selena's to be similar to "That's quite enough".

I wonder when they're actually being released. I woke up super early and can't fall back asleep and was disappointed to see neither being available as of 6 AM EST. Any idea when they will be up?

Best Buy sent me an email saying I could pick it up now. I can't drive so I have to wait until my mom gets home from work, but still I'm pretty excited about the prospect of getting it tonight!

Niles kinda hints at having a bdsm sex dungeon at home so there still is some lewdness.

As someone with a Best Buy pre-order I am nervous as well. If nothing changes by tomorrow evening I'm calling them before they close to ask about it. My mom has to drive me out to pick it up so I don't want her to get mad at me for them not even having it there or something.

I actually feel a lot more comfortable with the idea to marrying her to Gen 2 male. I mean, I'd want to read the supports she has with them first, but I'm not entirely against it now. I did read the Japanese supports and they made me very uncomfortable. They're more on the silly side than the weird/creepy side which is a major improvement. Also her voice is one of the cute things the world, just sayin. And like a lot of people here it's also vaguely familiar to me too.

Iunno where you people live, but even with the mythical restocks of Marth and Ike I have never seen them in my life. Meanwhile, Robin and Lucina never got an NA restock so I went ahead and imported them from Australia. Even with shipping they only cost me $26 total (tho it did take 20 days for them to arrive). There are ways to get them for cheaper than before, but in the case of the Fire Emblem amiibo, I still very so much believe there is a shortage of them in NA. Maybe not as bad a once were, but still not exactly easy to find them. I don't have Marth or Ike but considering my area's ability to stock FE amiibo I'll probably import them from Australia along with Roy if Fates gets patched for him.

I should say with opening an hour early, mine did for the day the Happy Home Design New 3DS came out along with new amiibo figures and cards. I didn't know this but neither did one of the employees that was supposed to be working then. So even if they are opening early calling might not help you because you could encounter someone who wasn't even told that it was supposed to. Or maybe that could end up with them asking and actually finding out before the day comes... Iunno, but it very well could be a possibility.

The only midnight release I've gone to is to get Pokemon X, but I had to switch my pre-order location due to also having a pass to go to New York Comic Con the same day. The GameStop my aunt placed my pre-order at for me is in a much more populated area than where I currently live. And by much more populated I mean the local Best Buy was one of the ones to have the Smash Bros previews around E3. Even if mine were doing a midnight opening for this game no one locally plays, my SE is at Best Buy so... Congrats to anyone actually getting a midnight release for theirs though!

I've seen people rank the siblings before, but I don't think I've seen people rate the pairs of their retainers. I'm actually really curious as to who the most popular of them are. I haven't played Fates or spoiled myself enough to decide, but if I were to guess what they might end up being based off what I currently know I'd say for Nohr my favorites would be Niles and Odin and for Hoshido my favorites would be either Hana and Tsubaki or Hinata and Oboro. I'm not quite sure how to explain why because I'm much less spoiled on them than the siblings themselves. Even though I'm not really spoiled, feel free to discuss support convos and the like about them for your reasoning if you do explain your reasoning. I won't read now but I'd love to go through later.

I know translating songs isn't an easy matter so I'm actually quite pleased that it didn't turn out worse. "a familiar disguise" is delivered somewhat awkwardly as is "white throne" although not as bad. Again, I know translating songs is harder than dialog so I find it hard to be any form of harsh on it. I still love that Nohr song though, it's just really fun to listen to.
