  1. Like others said, I bet we'll see Crystal in the future. I thought it was weird too at first, but then I realized it somewhat counterproductive for them: if Gold and Silver were to be released alongside Crystal, nobody would've bought them. And they can milk more money by releasing it later (by making people buy 2 games instead of one).

I think it wasn't the case with Japanese Blue and Yellow because the Gen I games are essentially the same with minor changes, while Crystal adds quite some features that weren't present in GS.

We don't know if this is really a brand new story tho, that's my problem here.

"These titles offer an alternative story taking place in the same world as Pokémon Sun and Moon and new Pokémon that didn't appear in Pokémon Sun and Moon will appear too. There will be additional elements to let you enjoy your adventure even more."

Source: Masuda from the Direct. Definitely not a remake ;)

They were ONE version to go with the original two. Not two new separate versions in the same region.

And what is so different in that? Not counting that B2W2 were two versions and they told a new story in the same setting, which seems to the case with USUM, be it a sequel or an alternate universe.

Also, it just doesn't make sense to "remake" Sun & Moon on the same console they were released a year ago. They would end up just being... well, the original Sun & Moon. So this is obviously not a remake.

  4. I firmly believe there was a Pokémon Z/third version/sequel project about Kalos that was later cancelled for reasons (probably not because of Game Freak but Nintendo). All that Zygarde merchandise and other small hints back then all point at that.

And yeah, I that XY deserved a third version/sequel, especially considering that this is one of the reasons I consider Gen VI to be the worst generation of Pokémon.

You can block off the top part of the map by putting characters in front of the cracks on the right and left sides of the map. The terrors can't open the doors, and they can't attack from a distance. This means that you don't have to worry about what the enemy is doing on its turn, and you won't be overrun. You can have your distance hitters pick them off from across the pit if you want, while having your others focus on the ones that spawn on the right and left sides. You can also block off the spawn points, which is useful if you only want to focus on one character.

If you don't want six characters dedicated to blocking the cracks, you can do this. Each time a character passes upwards over the cracks, a pillar will raise. The pillars don't raise when crossing downwards, so you can have two characters cross the cracks, which leaves one opening. They can come back down through the opening to safety, and then only one character needs to be sitting in front of the cracks. (Edit: Make sure you don't send someone over a third time, because then a third pillar will rise up, leaving them trapped on the other side! They'd have to come back down through the doors.)

In any case, blocking off the cracks makes farming the map safe, easy, and quick. That's how I advise doing it, as the monsters get very strong after a point.

Thank you A LOT, you really helped me out!
