Did I choose a bad time to join?

Reclassing was a nice thing to have for me. For an example, who has ever heard of a suicide archer It really allows you to take full advantage of the Levin Sword though. Raise Merric as a Mag, and when his Magic reaches its highest potential, reclass him to swordmaster and give him a Forged Levin Sword. It also allows you to use the Peg knight sisters even more effectively in chapters without having to worry about getting shot by an arrow(While in other games, fliers didn't have this problem because they could dismount/mount at will). And characters who have growths Wolf make great Generals.

True. I'm assuming you can only get 1 SS rank per unit right? I always train 4 Arch sages for endgame XD

I voted for Pelleas. First off, he's the only one who can use Dark magic (AKA the strongest type of magic) in the entire game. Although he is only available for part 4, he still kicks ass if you bother to raise him. As an arch sage, he can wield thunder magic, which is extremely helpful for Endgame III where you fight Dragon Laguz. He's just as good as Micaiah for the most part, except he doesn't have forced promotion. Pelleas> Micaiah > Soren > others I know that most of you are going to disagree with me because it's only my opinion. I'll admit that he doesn't have the greatest speed, but he doesn't get doubled by opponents either...

Sure she won't dominate a entire map all by herself, but Sue is still a good character. And she definitely is better than any of the archers you can get in the game...

Well, since stat boosters don't affect the black knight as a boss, I wonder if you could hack into the game and change it so that they are both the same Black knight. Or it would also be pretty cool to hack the game so you can use the black knight to fight the second black knight.

Well Radiant Dawn is different than the GBA games in many ways, so I'm not really surprised. I think the introduction of Laguz characters affected the paladins... The movement penalties are kind of like how you dismount characters whenever inside (in FE3). The thickets are definitely not as bad as the sand levels in the GBA games. And even the sand level in Radiant Dawn never uses horses unless you bring one with Micaiah's group... I see a decrease in the availability of horse riders. For instance, you only get 1 Knight in part 1, and she is not worth training. The next time you get to use a horse is with the royal knights, and they aren't available for most of the game. Oscar and Titania are both all around good units in this game though, although Geoffrey and Kieran make decent knights too if you can level them up.

Ike looks pretty good. The outline for the nose could be a little darker, and if you want it to look like a GBA mug, you may want to use a different palette (EX: See how roy's palette is much lighter than Ike's?).
