    Sometimes I shitpost on Miiverse.

Imagine if in the game, if a character is equipped with Paper, and they face any golems, they suddenly get 100 Mt, 100% Hit, and 100% Crit, and all the golems' Mt, Hit, and Crit all dropped to 0, plus a Vantage trigger, even if HP requirements aren't met.

  2. I missed the Hawk / Raven Laguz from the Tellius games, so. . .

  3. I'm not sure he counts as a purely comical character, but Saizo in his supports cracks me up. I couldn't love the guy more if I tried.

    Other than him, Arthur.

    I mean c'mon.

    It's Arthur.

And Niles, Odin and Leo work so good as a comedy trio. My favourite liege+retainer combo hands-down.

    {Saizo x Beruka: C Support}

    Saizo: *Looks angrily at Beruka* . . . . .

    Beruka: *Looks angrily at Saizo* . . . . .

    Saizo: *Looks normally at Beruka* . . . . .

    Beruka" *Looks normally at Saizo* . . . . .

Beruka and Saizo reached C Support!

  4. Arthur isn't comedy.

Arthur is the hero we never deserved but always longed for.

Arthur is a beacon of hope in the darkest night.

Arthur is the jawline of justice itself.

Praise be unto our holy savior and shepherd for we are not worthy of basking in his light.

Did you know that there's a distinct, yet subtle, difference between justice and vengeance? I didn't. But thanks to team-up time with Arthur, now I do!

  5. Thanks for the recommendation. By the way, you said that even with -def I would still end up with quite a bit of defence, yet, in my conquest playthrough, that was not the case. Was I a victim of the RNG in that case?

It could be, but that was more on the assumption side. I personally have never chosen -Defense, in both Awakening and Fates, but I did spend time as both a Great Knight and Paladin, which may have boosted my Defense growth for a short period.

  6. For me, I chose to go with Nohr Noble and +Speed, -Luck. (Felt ballsy going with - Luck, but still worked out fairly well thanks to being a lord class.) Like most lords, however, you'll still suffer a little bit from lower Resistance. If you are willing to put in the time, effort, and gold, you can easily max out each stat, but if you wanna keep a higher luck, I'd suggest having Defense be your bane, as you still get quite a bit of Defense anyways from what I've played with so far.

Just know, for which of the nobles you wanna play as, it depends on your playstyle. Nohr Noble makes Corrin a VERY offensive class, while Hoshido Noble still allows you to be offensive, but you can switch to supportive if need be with healing staves, or just be mean and use lots of status staves.

  7. One thing I've loved about Fates is all the comical moments in the game, from the supports, to recruits, to DLC dialogue, you name it. Fates has easily had some of the funniest moments in Fire Emblem history for me. So I gotta ask, who got you chuckling the most, and what moment involving them is your favorite?

For me, it's a close tie between Keaton and Izana. I love the "trashy" side of Keaton, and all his many treasures, especially with his supports with Arthur. Izana is also one of the funniest characters right from the get go, and easily one of my favorite moments from Fates is when he says, and I quote, "We're all about love, peace, and chicken grease here in Izumo!" or how he threatens to haunt Takumi if he doesn't help your unit in Revelation.

  8. Yeah. It's what the sig is. If it isn't you can just SR and lemme know :P (so you can enter again if it isn't right)

I passed out last night, but when I woke up this morning, I swung by and grabbed it. Thanks again!

Still looking for anyone with Shurikenbreaker on Odin.

Scratch that, found one while searching around randomly.

  9. Small update. I believe I've found a method to work, as far getting units up to at least Lv 5 before Boo Camp. This strategy does require some work to make it go smoothly however.

Step 1: Beat Chpt. 21 to unlock the Cursed Ruins map.

Step 2: Have your unit buffed up in Def / Res, and have an S Support, along with one other unit with high Def preferably.

Step 3: Acquire Replicate for your character, or have a third unit to substitute as a third "shield."

Now comes the actual setup for the map. Below I attached a picture of how I set up my units to make things easier. You should bring at least 2 healers, Azura for singing, and whichever unit you wish to train, and possibly teamed up if looking to get Support points. The enemies will tend to flow towards the door with two spaces, so keep that in mind. I hope this helps anyone looking to do a little extra grinding before going into Boo Camp / can't afford the DLC.

  10. So, currently in Revelation I'm trying to get every unit, not including children at this moment, "perfected" or at least to a fairly decent level with some good skills in tow for when they support each other. Now, the issue I've run across is a good place to farm for EXP until the units hit a high enough level to face the Boo Camp, as currently most are just now level 1 promoted units, had to beat Chpt. 20 to get the unlimited seals. So my question is, what map offers some fairly decent level units that I can have my units face until they hit about level 5 for their promoted class? Is the first Floating Isles map the place to go, or is there possibly a Paralogue I should complete first to get the easiest / quickest farming?

Side note: I found that the Destroyed Town map in Revelation is an amazing place to get units up to level 20 so they can promote.

  11. So I'm in the middle of my Revelation run, and I'm on the chapter before Scarlet is killed. After having already planned for all my other units to whom they'll be married to, I'm left with Scarlet and Hinoka as my final choices. If Anna was playable currently, I'd probably choose her, but she isn't. So my question is, do I go with the support that will carry on past this chapter, being with Hinoka, or super grind to get Scarlet ready before supporting her?

  12. Mr. Iwata. . . Thank you. Thank you for having designed the games we've come to love. Thank you for leading one of the greatest companies to ever exist during it's best and worst times. Thank you for being a truly good man. And thank you, for admitting that in your heart, you too are like all of us, a gamer.
