Efi just looks weird in English. How would you pronounce it? E-fi? Ef-y. Seems like there should be a more naturally looking written form than that regardless how it's spoken.

Looks fine to me, albeit a bit short so I get where you're coming from. It's pronounced "Effie," granted in my head lol.

It was probably inserted so that french, spanish, german, ect. 3ds owners don't expect voice acting in their languages (i would guess that all european 3ds's share the same region lock code). I don't know if that implies anything about the japanese voiceover.

This makes the most sense. However, it's kinda vague and could cause confusion. Don't want misinformation spreading now (or ever in general).

  3. I noticed Axes weren't a thing, and looking at the classes they all look "samey." So, I'd personally like some class diversity. Considering the game is so old it didn't have a weapon triangle, I feel there's no way they'll remove it and be 100% faithful. I really like Assassins in general, so I hope Dread Fighter (as it was called in the original) is reworked into the Assassin of the game. Just some quick thoughts.

  4. Can someone explain to me why copycat puppet is good? Sure you double yourself, but you sacrifice killing power. Same with galeforce and warp, they seem like traps to me.

From what I understand, Copycat Puppet allows you to effectively have 2 of a, presumably, powerful unit. Also, the original/puppet can pair up with someone else giving them their pair up bonuses. One example, is keeping the puppets far away, and rally them, heal them, use a tonic, etc.

Warp, if used right, allows you to basically rush someone down. This is especially deadly with high movement allies, and even Copycat Puppet.

Galeforce is good on ORKO builds. Usually involves crit stacking, Aggressor, Prescient Victory, etc. Even though it requires units to be solo, it's still pretty deadly.

  5. We're doing this again?

Honestly, I'll say that different people rate skills differently due to playstyle.

It also depends on whether or not you are buying skills, etc

My own list on a synthetic (I.E. Skill by itself), though I hardly think anyone cares about my opinion:

(Note: Lodestar/Great Lord exclusive skills excluded)

    Tier 0.5: Copycat Puppet

    Tier 0.75: Galeforce, Warp

    Tier 1: Nohr

Tier 1.1: Lethality, Aether ,Astra, Aggressor, Extravagance

    Tier 1.2: Hoshido, Dragon Fang

Tier 1.25: Breaking Sky>Luna>Ignis, Faire Skills, Line of Death, Beastbane, (Ogre Strike)

Tier 1.35: Draconic Curse, Seal Defense/Speed, Rally Speed/Strength/Defense, (Weapon) Breaker, Four Fangs, Duelist/Darting Blow, Locktouch,

Tier 1.4: Seal (Others), Rally (Others), Deadly Breath, Snake Venom, Speed/Strength/Defense +2, Aptitude, (Raven Strike), Quick Draw

Tier 1.5: Sol, Lifetaker, Renewal, Overbearing, Roundhouse, Defensive Formation

Tier 1.6: Rally Movement, Movement +1

?: Flamboyant. (I guess it's pretty broken in practice), Witch's Poison (Dunno how effective it actually is, so what can I say)

Unsure where to place: Nobility (EXP is a thing, so I'm not really sure)

Limited availability: Inspiring Song (You could say the same about some of the others, but what can I say)

    The rest: Tier 2

Of course the way I tier is all sorts of silly..but eh..

Well like I said I'm not one to stand by a tier list religiously I just wanted to have a gauge of skills viability. Thanks for the list though.

  6. Hello Serenes, sorry for a very brief question post, but I was just wondering if anyone can give me a " tier list" of the skills in the game. Be it PVP or solo, it may say weird, but I don't really care which one you give me. I saw one once, but foolishly didn't save/follow it. I'm not really one for tiers for skills really, but I just want to gauge a few skills. Thanks for your help in advance!

  7. Don't read every comment in a forum thread so excuse me if I'm repeating anything.

Being the meh player I am I find Normal on Nohr pretty challenging. It's much more difficult than Awakening, I'd have to say. My main points I'd make are weapon triangle actually matters, there is no random world map grinding, and units can be pretty tough at times.

(although I've been trying to lure them into the special edition to save money, but that's another thing).

Special Edition doesn't save money it's the same cost.
(rounding up) 40 base game + 20 other route + 20 Revelation = 80 usd, and the special edition costs the exact same.

  8. Give Mamui/Zero and Femui/Syalla children. C'monnnn. If everything else about Fates can be so nonsensical, then why not add one more thing to the mix? I would love to see F!Kanna's interactions with Zero and Eponine's response to having two dads. As long as its not creepy or uncomfortable, anyway.

Wait hold up, they get absolutely NO children? I know gay marriage doesn't grant Kanna. Which granted makes sense, but no Eponine? Doesn't affect me but that's kinda screwed up.

    -Removes DLC Gender Locked Classes

    Make All Classes no Genderlocked

Pretty sure there's no more genderlock except priest(ess) line which is just different stats and weapons (but those classes are usually horrible anyways so it doesn't matter)

    Anyway on topic

-Minimum localization (it's inevitable)[hope Zero isn't Henry 2.0]. I understand Soleil's supports being reworked, Zero being reworked, etc.

Better emphasize there isn't any incest because of waifu/husbando pandering

-Sjws, feminist extremist, etc. staying away

People are asking for some pretty extreme changes on this thread...
