curious question guys, will there be a 'uncensored' patch by the time the game releases in NA.!?
(just the censoring parts, e.g pat game and the few dialogues maybe?) .

The currently existing patcher will be modified to work with Fire Emblem: Fates (all editions). We will release several patch packs (as possible). Here are the following packs:
- Amie restoration
- Japanese dub restoration
- Japanese name restoration
- Fan-Translation
Packs that need to be verified are legal:
- Official Japanese text pack
- Official NA text pack (for Japanese-edition users)
Any combination of them is possible. SciresM plans to make it so if you want it, just unzip the pack in the patcher, instructions to follow.

Cellenseres just confirmed, to get FE:if as the original title screen, replace the icon.bin file with the original one (so replace the one in the patch with the one you have), and patch it from there.
nah, that's not completely true.
If you want to use the original 3D Banner, you need to remove the "banner.bin/banner.bnr" in the exe-folder in our patch.
If you want to use the original japanese Game Title ("ファイアーエムブレム if" instead of "Fire Emblem: Fates"), you need to remove the "icon.bin/icon.icn" in the exe-folder in our patch.

How have the patch-makers considered the possibility of Nintendo issuing a cease-and-desist to this project? What do they plan to do should that occur?
if that happens, we normally have to stop to work on this project.
Fortunately we've finished all Chapter-Translations so normally we only have to work on the Supports now.
If we really have to stop to work on this project because of a C&D by Nintendo, they can't stop people playing our patch.
Why? Because the files are already online and everyone has access to them :P

HANS doesn't support DLC's or Patches.
If you want to use the patched IK, you have to use a CFW + NTR_CFW Plugin -
So whats the plan for the next patch, wait till all the supports are done, wait till all the text is done, something else, or don't really know yet? And think the next one will be within the "few weeks" timespan, or longer?
We're not sure.

Well that pretty much answered my earlier question...
Definitely can say that it didn't take as long as I expected, lol
yea, the guy who uploaded the patch probably had the decrypted DLC already.
If he knows how to rebuild the DLC, it's a very simple and fast process.
I won't share the Downloadlink to the DLC because it's a copyrighted file and I don't support piracy ;)
If you want to use google, you're free to get it, I can't forbid that ^^'

~ 135 Supports has been translated.
Which supports are translated already you can see by open the folder "Patch\rom\m".
every "Name1"_"Name2".bin.lz file contains the Support Dialogue between two Characters (C-rank -> A/S-rank).
For example: アクア_アサマ.bin.lz contains all conversations between Aqua and Asama.

Decrypt and patch DLC? What does that mean?
It's not that easy :P
Some people are able to decrypt the content of CIAs by using Decrypt9 (Homebrew) to work with this stuff on PC.
The difficult part is rebuild the DLC.

How will DLC (I.E IK,etc) work
You can already download the translated IK-Chapters but there's no patcher to patch the DLC itself yet.
If you're able to decrypt and patch the DLC, you're free to do it :)

Sure!
As long as you're able to boot the Homebrew Launcher (OoTHax, Ninjhax), you're able to play our Patch using HANS.
This method works up to Firmware 10.3.

All Children Paralogues are translated already and will be available with our next patchI'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere before, but will the next patch contain any paralogue translations?

They've mentioned it already, Revelation (called "Invisible Kingdom in Japan, much better name if you ask me) isn't far from being finished.
I would assume they'll do the rest after the main story too, yes. They're going for completion, just main story is the priority.

Wait so are you guys ever planning on finishing it?
I cant speak for others, but I cant play the game without having supports. Its kinda like having the other half of the game missing.
But I can imagine how much dialogue there must be for that especially with the lack of translators at the moment.
Sure we want to finish it!
But for now, finishing chapters has the highest priority.
And like I already said. We'll add a bunch of Supports to the next patch.

Well, given that the changelog mentions chapters and only chapters... it's fair to assume the new patch includes chapters and only chapters, no?
Yep, it only contains chapters and alot of bugfixes for Menu-Related texts.
The next patch will include the last chapters of both Paths and some Supports (not all because it's a way too much).
