  1. When i start an EO game, i always end up spending arround two entire days repeating the first few minutes of the game because i keep changing my mind of how i want my party to be. Because while i love the games, im kind of awful at realizing which class combinations have good sinergy.

Anyway, how viable do you guys think a party composed of Pugilist+Harbinger/Botanist+Dragoon+Rover is? Should i switch anyone out?

Edit: Decided to keep my starting party with the exception of the Dragoon, who i swapped for a Necromancer, so my party is as frail as wet paper, but if this works, they'll be able to disable any enemies.

Also, for dumb reasons, i decided to name most of my guild after fruit-related names, the guild itself is named Demeter, the Pugilist is named Cerise, the Harbinger, Vitis, the Botanist, Berry, the Rover, Musa and the Necro, Coco.

  2. Do you guys hope for a more formulaic title in the veins of SMTIV, something more experimental like Nocturne or a little bit of both a la Strange Journey? Because to me, SMTIV felt too vanilla and too much like a game that covers the same old stuff instead of something that felt fresh, i also have a problem with how both that game and Apocalypse portrayed Alignments. And i feel something different is what the mainline series needs right now.

More precisely, we play as the villains.

    From /r/FireEmblem:

"That's an idea that always sounds a lot more fun then it is. Stories with a villain protagonist are rare because it's pretty hard to get the reader invested in the fate of a bad person who is doing bad things. I think a better compromise would be something like The First Law where the main characters are deeply flawed characters who could easily be the villains of another story, but have wound up as the "heroes" of this one. People with a shred of decency in a world that has even less then that."

  4. I personally feel like giving the gryphons an actual in-universe presence and class would be pretty neat (Gryphon Rider -> Gryphon Knight), but i can't think of a combat role they could have that would set them apart enough, make them very fast and they would just be re-skinned Pegasus Riders, make them too offense based and they would just be re-skinned Wyvern Riders, make them too tanky and you're just making Knights even more obsolete, any ideas?

Outside of that, Pirates and mounted archers.

  5. Bring back GBA style Canto, but give it limitations to balance it, for one, don't allow it after attacking, that's just too much, and second, give it limitations, i've seen some people suggest that units shouldn't be capable of using it if they don't have enough HP, which i think is a fair limit.

Also, bringing back Dismount could be cool if done well, just give each mounted class have a foot counterpart with lesser stats so that they can still play a similar role in combat they did before.

I highly doubt it, considering there haven't been more firings/re-structuring at NoA and Treehouse.

I do tend to get kind of pissed off in my points, mainly because I used to love this company, and I mean I LOVED it to the point that I was even considering getting a job there one day. And to see a childhood company I loved (which provided me countless hours of entertainment, even through some very dark times throughout previous chapters in my life) just pains me to see the direction they're going in now (be it localization, or otherwise). And yes, I tend to blame the fans that support this direction and NoA's practices because they keep putting money in their wallets. All I am is just a passionate fan that want's to see one of his favorite companies as a kid get better and stop all the bullshit they're doing. Remember, money is what makes them keep doing it and the moment they don't get a dime anymore, the moment they'll stop. (Hell, it's the reason I follow people like Shokio, BlackB0nd, TheBalishChannel, etc on YT even if I don't always agree with them).

Even if the "side" you were on was right, that doesn't change the fact that nobody will listen to someone who is the living incarnation of the "Autistically Screeching" meme, seriously, as shadowofchaos said, when you make other people with similar stances as yours stop believing in those stances because of what you say, you know you're an idiot, i mean, Jesus, who the fuck takes someone who says "Cuck" unironically seriously?

Can we get more female mercenaries. Preferably more like Maris than Severa.

Marisa is easily one of the worst characters in SS though, she's just a pretty swordswoman who only knows how to fight and is absolutely incompetent at everything else and who melts down when she sees they guy she likes in front of her (It also doesn't help that she is a foil to Tethys, who is a far more interesting character), in comparison, even Severa is better, because while yes, Severa's entire concept as a character is one which you would find in a bad romcom Anime, she still has far more going for her in term than Marisa does.

EDIT: Now i realize you were talking about the character from FE12 (Which i haven't played), sorry.

What new mechanics would you like to see introduced or return to fe switch.

I would personally like it if a unit could trade / interact with other units adjacent to them without affecting movement. For example, say I have a unit move 5 squares down. 3 squares down, I can swap items with a person adjacent to my current tile, and still continue to go the rest of the squares and perform an action. This could lead to some insane trade/shove/swap strategies.

Mounted units can already do this with Canto, just press B after trading.

  9. No Gharnef clones, Gharnef was great, but his archetype is repetitive and brings the stories of the games down more often than not.

EDIT: Now that i think about it, i think Type-Moon's interpretation of Iskander would make a decent villain, just a guy who wants to conquer the lands arround him and is extremelly straight-forwards about it, yet his strong ambition, charisma and the genuine value he puts in his own soldiers gives him a way with people that makes them trust him.

Pearl was my first Pokémon game and Platinum is my all-time favorite, so I'm super biased towards Sinnoh. However, I honestly would rather see the remakes for 3DS. We haven't had a console main-series Pokémon game, and while I'm excited to see what the Switch is capable of, I would prefer to be guaranteed that my Gen IV remake will work out without using an entirely new platform and formula.

That would never happen because the 3DS can already play DPPt just fine. There isn't any reason to remake it for the 3DS.
