MEGA UPDATE: Hoo boy, it's been almost a year since I have done an update! Well, to people who want to play this hack, (and to those who have worked on the hack alongside me), I deeply apologize for not staying in touch. It's been a crazy time for me and although nothing bad happened, I was pretty busy! However, you're not here to hear about my life story, you're here to see if this project is still going. Well I have good news: this project is still going and I have completed one chapter! Now before you get all testy, let me explain. In case you haven't heard, Srpg Studio was released just last week and already, a few FE projects have been made. Now with the limitations of the Fe GBA engines, I decided to make Gate of Shadows through SRPG Studio so that I can have more freedom to do what I want. And, just today, I completed the first chapter! Now on top of that, I have even more news: with one chapter complete, I have decided to enter this project into FEE3 and, I will also post a link on the 1st page for everyone to try out. To those who want to try it out, if you want to do this, can you please:
A) Rate the map, gameplay, and story out of 10
B) Say what you like and didn't like
C) Say what you want to see for future updates
Phew! I think that's pretty much it! I hope to add a few chapters within the coming weeks AND add screenshots. Seeya then!

@Sphinx the Knight Just want to see if you're okay with all of this; especially with moving Gate of Shadows to another engine.

Just click on the randomizer and type in the name of the fe4 rom. You should then be good to go.

Hey so Sigurd had major Dain blood, but when I look at Seliph he doesn't have it. I mean it doesn't matter since he's a thunder mage, but Is it there and I can't see it or...?

Well it looks a little different from the FE7 mini, but oh well. I suspect we'll get desperation or some other new sacred seal like phantom atk. which is similar to phantom spd. but that's just me.

You know, it could be possible that they'll spring a mini Fire Emblem direct or something along those lines before e3...just saying.

If they're delaying it it could be that they want to make this the best Fire Emblem game as possible like they did with Breath of the Wild, but that's just me.

No this is not a patch; I just wanted to put in a good name. Anyway, I've been playing Fates for the past 4 weeks and despite its story flaws, it's a fun game. While playing and seeing many different classes, I thought of something: "Wouldn't it be funny if I made Corrins based off of characters from other FE games?" And then, I thought of this neat little challenge.
It's pretty simple; just pick a game and a character you want to play as and pick the talent (or buy dlc) that resembles their vanilla class. As soon as you are able to buy a heart seal, you have to class change and you can't go back to being a noble AND you can't use any other seals except the master and eternal seals.
However, if you really want a challenge; pick a game, grab a random name picker, type in all the playable characters, and boom! The random character that was picked for you is now your main lord. Of course you get 3 tries and can only pick one of the 3 you pull.
So that's an idea I had. What do you all think?

That's an interesting theory. I really wanted Thracia to show up, but since there are absolutely no snow maps in that game (I think) and we're in Let-It-Go Land, we might get them afterwards. Anyway, if that's the case, we may get another Fallen Heroes banner.
