Ok all teams have been confirmed and the draft is locked for 9PM eastern. Sorry to who ever doesn't make the draft, but I have posted a crap ton of updates and stuff about it. Best of luck. and if anything changes I'll let you guys know asap.

Oh now doubt about it. You can chalk his 6th man utility up to his great versatility. He'll be fantastic on a per-36-minute basis. Think of a more efficient, better defensive version of kobe bryant. And with the dearth of elite level shooting guards in the league right now (Wade, Bryant, Harden), it really is a nice acquisition by the Rockets. And really Martin brings a lot of the same things Harden did. He just had a down year wracked by injury. He'll be an excellent off the ball player and make good use of the attention that both Durant and Westbrook garner from defenses.

Yeah, I definitely didn't see that coming, though I can't say I'm all that surprised. It was only a matter of time before they made their move. I just don't know if they made the right one.

Tentatively scheduled for Sunday at 10PM Eastern time.
Unfortunately ESPN leagues don't allow you to draft until all roster spots have been confirmed. I'm still waiting on phoking beast to confirm his team as well as one person from another site in the other division. If neither confirms by Sunday at 2PM Eastern, I'm cutting the last team in each divison and making it 5 and 5 respectively. Seeding may not be as pretty, but I can't afford to delay the draft any further with the NBA season starting Tuesday.

Well guys with the NBA season nearly here, it's about time to get our draft done. This is mostly for Helios, Fenrir, Emu and beast, but we still have 2 openings that we need to fill out before the draft.
I should also mention that this is a bit of a split league. There are two divisions, once is SF members thus far, and the other is a casual PS3 gaming clan I'm also a part of. It's a 12 team league, so depth will present a nice entry level challenge. This is mostly a for fun league, the majority of players are doing so for the first time.
As of now, I'm planning on having the draft sometime this weekend. Ideally saturday or sunday night. Post what times you are available but keep in mind the season starts tuesday, so monday night would be the absolute latest.

Yes, I'm starting to think there's something in the water. Of course it doesn't help we have a pretty poor O-line and Stafford has about 3 seconds to make his decision and get rid of it. If we can get some top talent in next year's draft, giving Stafford more time in the pocket = much better passes i hope

Well yes, because you're basically doing half the work of making the shot without actually getting to shoot, so it's basically extra work for less reward in my eyes, so I reward in nicely.
Oh and I added you and Emu, but we're still only half full, we need at least 3 more people for the serenes forest division

I should probably give some specifics for scoring, etc.
The league would be standard head to head weekly scoring matchup. Player lock will be set at Daily, so you can adjust your lineups accordlingly as the week goes on. And yes, you can set your line ups at least week ahead if necessary.
Scoring is as follows
Points = 1
Rebounds = 1
Assists = 1.5
Steals = 1.5
Blocks = 1.5
Field Goals Made = 1
Free Throws Made 1.5
Three Pointers Made = 1.5
Free Throws Missed = -1
Three Pointers Missed = -1

Yes. It seems that Young needed some shoe to step into, rather than try and gradual his way in. Well hopefully now that he has a large responsibility to the team winning as the second WR option, maybe he'll up his usage ability for good and we can stop needing to rely on the likes of Burleson. It was nice to see what Pettigrew can do for the offense when he doesn't have 3 drops a game. And our defense is starting to come around. The secondary looks to strengthen with the eventual return of our 2nd and 3rd CBs. And with the Viking teetering on regression, this is Detroit's chance to step up their game as a whole and improve to a winning record.
