[Revelations optimization help ( updated post )]

Personally, I'd advise against Felicia!Forrest. Sakura is a better mother in basically every possible way, if you haven't planned her marriage yet. Sakura!Forrest has superior growths in every stat except RES, which Forrest gets plenty of anyway, due to most of his classes having good growths in that stat. Additionally, Felicia passes down the Mercenary class line which Forrest doesn't get much use out of, whereas Sakura passes Monk, which gives Forrest access to a number of awesome skills such as Renewal and Tomefaire.

Regarding Caeldori, Hinoka!Caeldori has equal or superior growths in every single stat and passes the useful Spear Fighter class line. Selena!Caeldori however still has decent growths and gains access to the Mercenary class line which contains useful skills such as Sol and Shurikenbreaker. Personally, I'm a fan of Selena!Caeldori... partly because it feels like Caeldori's supports with her mother were written for Selena specifically. You also get a special scene at the end of her recruitment Paralogue.

Regarding the "leftover kids", Shiro is extremely good - I personally like Camilla as his mother, which makes him a seriously tanky menace that's still pretty fast, but you already intend to marry her to Keaton, so a decent replacement would be Mozu (more well-rounded) or Kagero (loses some bulk, but gains 58 STR growth).

Nina is one of the kids that can go either way depending on who her mother is - Elise!Nina or Nyx!Nina make excellent Shining Bow users, if you don't go through with marrying them off to Odin and Hayato after all. Peri and Oboro make good mothers for a more physical Nina, and Selena will also do in a pinch.

I can't really comment on the other children as I've never or rarely used them.

Regarding your thoughts about Azura:

She doesn't die regardless of whether you marry her or not. I've not yet done a playthrough with M!Corrin though, so I can't tell you what the special ending is, either - if there is one.

Also keep in mind that marrying Azura may cause you to miss out on one child.

Personally, I'm not a fan of marrying the children, but Selkie and Velouria both seem like solid choices. Flip a coin?

Well I haven't planned to marry Sakura to anyone so that could be a possibility I guess

As for the skills that are passed down. Well, I do plan to do castle battles which will help with skills, so perhaps stat wise it might be best to go for Hinoka, but the urge to ship Selena with Subaki is still strong due to the whole caeldori/cordelia situation =p

As for the leftover kids...Eh, I think I'll just find out once I see what I've got left.

And in regards to who I'll marry. I'll give Azura a go in one of the reruns, but this narrows it down to 4 candidates then

[Thoughts on the English Voice Cast?]

While I don't agree with everything you said I will agree that Awakening definitely had a higher quality dub. Then again Awakening seemed to have a lot more A listers in its dub.

Well maybe I'm a bit cranky cause I'm tired and sleepy. It's not like it's SO horrible. It's just yeah, compared to Awakening, which was the first FE game I played they have done some funny things with some of the voices in fates. I don't think that there is that typical "sexy mature onee-san" voice in English and Selkies voice isn't bad, but in some of her her sentences, if it wasn't for the sub I'd have had trouble understanding a few of her words. But I guess it could all be because they didn't have enough A listers as you said?

Finished conquest and almost done with Birthright and I'm gonna be honest.....Most of the voices are honestly horrible. I mean it's already irritating as hell that Nintendo thought it was an amazing idea NOT to let people have dual audio but then they also go and find horrible english voice actors for most of the voices.

For example, Camilla has that typical older sexy mature woman voice but the English voice is just....urgh. Horrible.
Elise, Xandar and Ryoma and many others also have fine voices but there are also many that are bad. For example I love my Selkie waifu but whatever they did with her voice, they should have dialed it down a notch.

So long story short, they could have done a better job, but it's acceptable. I'd say Awakaning had better voices.

[Stat growth in Birthright]

Okey, so I don't know if it's just me who has the most shittiest luck or what the heck is happening but I have consistently only gotten 1 or 2 stat upgrades per level for several of my units. Like this is literally not making any sense. It's not something that has happend once or twice but like 4-5 times. Am I just super unlucky or does birthright just in general have lower stat growth?

Alright, so I might look at Setsuna!Selkie.

What about for pair-up? Would a character that gives spd be best to further raise their avoidance or would they need some dmg instead?

I was thinking about making a tank MU by taking +skl -mag and having them learn aegis & pavise while also pairing them up with someone else who had plenty of skills, which would be accessed by norhian trust and amplified by hoshidan unity.

Alternatively I was thinking +spd -mag, master ninja MU and pair him up with Selkie

So I finished conquest today and since I have a LE version of the game I have all 3 routes in 1 game and now I'd like to play birthright and afterwards Revelations. I have many ways of playing these games. Sometimes I go with the pairings I think are cute and what I think is canon or whatever and other times I see a character and I go "i'm gonna hit that". Now I love me some cute fox girl (and adoptive elder sister with the same name as my ex so that's not weird at all) So I want to make her as powerful as possible. I see a lot of people say that Selkie is an avoidance tank so they either say Setsuna but others say Hana and some say Azura.

When I play I just about always pair up everyone up to make certain units stronger or even more tanky(for example charlotte and xander in my conquest game were OP and helped me win the game), so for this part I'd like to know which pair-up gives Selkie the best stats.

For some of the other children I already have an idea.

Hinoka!Caeldori ( the urge to use Selena in revelation is strong but stat wise it seems to ruin her)

Iiiiii'm just gonna wait a few weeks after the game has been released and everything is ready.

Of the planned patches i'm mainly interested in

- Name restoration

- Amie restoration

- Japanese VA

Depending on how changed the localized translation is from the original I might also go with the fan translation.
Thing is tho I have zero clue regarding homebrew and roms. So once everything is out it would be really helpful if there was some link to a guide explaining what specifically needs to be done to get those 3-4 patches installed.

EU didn't have Tharja's Summer Scramble CG censored while NA did, but NA didn't have Tharja and Nowi's Harvest Scramble convo censored while EU did. To people concerned about censorship, that is a very big difference.

It's been a while so I can't recall that.

But I honestly doubt that EU version will have the amie feature intact. It seems like a much bigger deal than a simple still image. Would be nice if it was tho. That'd practically remove most of my worries.

Seeing as Europe gets less censorship than NA. it's possible Amie is still in by default for Europe.

Yeeeeeeeh......No. I don't know where you are getting that from but the fire emblem game is getting a pegi 12 rating here like every other game on the 3ds. The awakening game had no difference to the American version compared to a few words being spelled the British way. Like color was changed to colour and etc. If the amie feature is gone in the U.S it is certainly also gone in the European.

Well then I hope it is. I won't mind buying the game then. But I'll wait until it's possible to get those changes done. Otherwise I'm not spending a single dime on the game.

Yeah okey, so they have removed the amie feature it seems. Not sure if it's just locked away or entirely removed.
But my life mantra is "if we can't pet waifu, there is no point in lifefu"
But yeah.

So It'll be possible to get a European version of the game from a store and then patch it to change the names back to the original, as well as add Japanese audio and unlock the amie features right?
