Some characters being limited to heterosexual pairings is disappointing, but I have to appreciate the step up from FE:F. We have eight (?) queer characters in this game. It gives me hope that half the cast will be queer in the next game.
I also have to appreciate another step up in the number of PoC in this game. It's still not enough by Western standards, but it's progress. When it comes to Japanese-created games diversity is slow because the country is largely homogenous, but it gets more diverse with each release. Let your voice be heard that you want more diversity for future games! For Three Houses, enjoy what is there and make your opinion heard for the next one.
