  1. Hi guys, I've been compiling the cards reviewed so far and translating them in a googledoc. Just want to share that with the rest of you. It is a work-in-progress still. I should wrap up the rest of the cards soon today. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1e6QDBWuhfRfu_730IETsb9QH4FicBXX0Nhn_MD--d9g/edit?usp=sharing Please pardon some minor inconsistencies in translation, especially the names, as I am not too familiar with the English localised names. Use the "LEGEND" tab to see some abbreviations I used. P.S. : PM me or reply if you have any questions!
  2. Pretty good art but the effect is kinda bad.... why putting a card from hand to orb instead of from top deck to orb (like the 2 cost Reflet)? And come on they keep teasing us with the Tome in the art (same for Cost 2 Reflet) but the Unit is only 1 range :(
  3. Please, like i said already, AS IT IS right now. it is not a good MC. and "It ultimately comes down to what the effects of the 1 cost Mirage Sallya are". Even if Mirage Sallya does get what you think it "needs", it is by no means an "OP lord". It would be good/average at best. Again, we have to see what the rest of the set, along with the starter decks, offers and what a potential deck would look like. Would definitely revisit after more cards are revealed.
  4. This Kiria combines Sallya discard effect with a more restrictive Shalla draw effect. As MC, this card is quite useless except for 1 purpose: keep 1 cost Mirage Sallya (not revealed yet) on the field so you can more easily classchange into 4 Cost Sallya, whose discard effect is obviously superior to Kiria's. So her first effect is useless... That being said, this tactic requires you to have an extra Sallya in your hand in order to activate Sallya's effect (flip 3 bond, discard Sallya: Opponent discards 3 cards). In case you don't, are you willing to use Kiria's second effect and discard herself (which is a potential dodge for your MC) for a small chance of drawing into Sallya? Probably not... So her second effect is uselss... (Yes, you can discard Sallya for a small chance to draw into a Kiria as well, but if you have that many Sallyas in hand, you're playing the deck wrong....) It ultimately comes down to what the effects of the 1 cost Mirage Sallya are, but 1 good thing about this card is that you have to potential to discard 5 cards from you opponent's hand in 1 turn, due to Sallya's effect restricted to once per turn, you can opt to activate both Sallya and Kiria's effects. This requires 6 face-up bond, and minus 2 from your own hand. tl;dr - if you MC Kiria with this card, it's pretty much a useless card; just use Sallya's effect instead. Has potential to discard 5 cards from opponents hand in 1 turn. This is just based on what's revealed. We know the Starter deck will come with 3 cost Kiria, so maybe that one would better.
  5. Yes, it should be Lissa, sorry I am not very familiar with English versions of the names. In Japan, Kamui (F) is being played a lot so it has become part of the meta. Kinu works similarly to Kamui (F) in the sense that they both ramp your Bond easily. Kinu can potentially ramp your bond by 3-4 every turn (if you mill a 3 or 4 cost), giving you an extra attacker just like how Kamui (F) summons Gunther and the likes for an extra attack. The best Kinu decks actually runs Kamui (F) as well, so you can ramp by 6-7 bond in a single turn! Luck is a factor though, if you keep milling Kinu with her own effect. But the Kinu decks that I've seen are generally running a large number of high cost, high *printed* power cards, like Gunther, any of the Kamui (F) or (M), Set 3 Ryouma & Marx, Camila, etc. Not sure if shared in OP, but for your convenience, here is an example: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CY1po6PUoAAutBa.jpg:large
  6. Are you referring to decks played or decks topped? Because Kinu is not an outlier.... Japanese meta was (and I'd argue still is) dominated by Kamui (F) and Kinu since set 3 hit. There are still people who use Marth but Marth rarely comes out on top nowadays. In early Feb, Kinu played against Kamui (F) in the finals of nationals (サイファ 日本一決定戦), with Kamui (F) coming out on top. While this shouldn't a sole source to determine the meta, it is a good indicator: the results of the regionals that led to the nationals (サイファ 日本一決定戦): Kanto - Liz, Kamui (F), Kamui (F), Kamui (F) Chubu - Kinu Chugoku/Shikoku - Kinu Kyuushuu - Liz Hokkaido - Kamui (M) ShinEtsu - Aqua Touhoku - Marth Kansai - Liz, Marth Source: http://kizunafe0.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-327.htm Marth is still a solid deck but it no longer dominates other decks, especially not Hoshido/Nohr decks. A tech of Shigure limits an essential strategy in Marth's deck.
