I did, and got the same results; it installs, no icon on home menu but I can boot from DevMenu. I'm using the latest release of cakes and am on 10.8, if that matters. could it be the XORPads? I have the right ncchinfo/slotkey.bin. Also, when I boot JKSaveManager the "Fire Emblem" in 'Fire Emblem If" is just jumbled text. EDIT: I forcibly injected my eng save, and it's telling me I don't have ANY of the three paths LOL. apparently I fucked up somewhere.

could I get some technical support? I patched the .3ds and hit "build CIA". I deleted the JPN version I had already and installed said .CIA. I tried to boot it but it kept saying "please redownload from e-shop". I restarted the system, and its icon was gone. I went to DevMenu, but it was still installed. I deleted & reinstalled, the Icon is still gone. However, I can successfully boot it from DevMenu, but it will crash if I hit the home button. What did I do wrong?

I have a question regarding the swimsuit patch: I just started a new save and hit update data and recieved a bold swimsuit. I know this is possible since the registry was changed but I was wondering: Will I get banned if I update data with a bold swimsuit on? Will it just change it to something else for that person or will it crash their game/ the changed registry get me banned?

The only things I can think of are either: 1. Something went wrong when rebuilding the .cia. Perhaps there was a glitch in the matrix? you might try re-building it. 2. You forgot to uninstall the old Fates CIA before installing the new one. This can cause a lot of problems, so another thing you might try (maye first) is uninstalling and reinstalling the .cia.

If you want, I could try to set up a search and replace script for the supports. I doubt I could get them all done in a timely manner but I could try.

If I'm correct, what they did was they replaced the english accessory shop buy list and accessory registry with the Japanese version. You would still have all accessories, but certain ones listed(the ones that were listed) had their IDs changed.

Really? Then why tell us to boot. You're dangling a steak in front of some hungry dogs and only giving them the bone. If you're going to be like that, just say "We've only translated the 'controversial' supports, and they will be released", rather than saying "lol we're only giving you part of what a lot of you want." Not to mention, it makes it seem more like you did next to nothing and are just saying it. So we cannot hold you to your word? how are we supposed to believe you'll finish the restoration patches? Right now, for all we know you'll just say "We finished everything, but we don't care about you so we're keeping it all to ourselves. Deal with it, we don't even care." Now, I know it's your project. You can do with it as you will. I may not seem like it, but I am very thankful for your work on the translation/restoration thus far, and I do hope you continue(more specifically, I hope you actually release it). Hell, I'll probably delete this post once I reconsider my point of view in an hour or so. What makes people mad, however, is when you say you're going to do something, only to later say you're not finishing it, and then only releasing part of what you made in the first place because "lol we just don't care." and saying it in a tone that suggests you are surprised by our response it just icing on the cake for me.

Could someone help me with the patcher? I have my rom/xorpads ready, but whenever I try to mount the patch it says 'selected path directory has too few or too many subfolders' I'm selecting the 'Patch' file(FEFates patcher/patch).
