  1. There's a new demo that now covers the earlier parts of the game! Check it out!
  2. we also have't seen the wind magic and what that can do
  3. "...from a bit of help." Tristan rolled his eyes a little as Illyana pulled out some coins to put in... Melthric? But his accent and drunken slur could also make it Meltric or Melsric or... "Th-thank ye *hic* kindleh, lady." Illyana pulled out a cloak and covered her head as they maneuvered to a bar. Once inside, Mel... something quickly maneuvered to the bar to pay a tab, while the knight-to-be and princess hid in a corner table. "So, what is the Sacred Beast Weapon here?" Tristan asked. "The Sacred Bull Axe. The most brutal and powerful of the weapons."
  4. I feel like what we've seen about magic users is limited by the fact that we haven't really seen the environmental effects much. We'll know more when we can play around with maps with, say, water to evaporate with fire/freeze with water/shock with lightning, and terrain like that and so forth.
  5. The game is coming out 04/03/2022! They're listening to some of our demo criticisms and adding extra options and stuff. Also, side note, I noticed Hughette (Not!Chocobo rider) has a different title/class than the demo. There, it was 'Scout' but here it's "Flier Master", so there is probably some sort of promotion/class system going on.
  6. ...past the opening that allowed the jailors to give her food and water. "He's so powerful!" the guard yelled, shooting bullets at the mysterious invader. A sizzling noise rang out. "Is he... melting the bullets in midair?" another guard shouted in amazement. "He's on the level of a... at least a Third! Maybe even a Second!" "THEN LET GREYMARE KNOW SO HE CAN HELP US!" The door began to sizzle and glow with heat. And then, it fell inward off its hinges. Standing there was a young-looking man with glasses and white hair. "Wakey wakey. Time for a freedom breakfast."
  7. (3 rules: The core "story" part of your post must be exactly 100 words. No more, no less. If you're in the middle of a sentence, you have to stop cold dead right there and the next person has to pick up in the middle of said sentence (though it is perfectly acceptable to ask questions, give minor criticism etc. in parenthesis either before or after the core story part of your post). You cannot double post, you must wait for at least one person to reply before you can write 100 more words. Finally, the story must end at some point, so we can start in a new world with a new story. We don't want to get the story all confusing and too-long and weird and tangential at some point.) Freedom. Freedom was all that he had thought of in the 18 years she was imprisoned in this labyrinthine complex. Sheera had lived in this prison all her life. She had never seen light that was not artificial. And she wanted to escape. To break free of her shackles with her fellow prisoners. What was her crime? It was being born. Well, being born with the potential for psychic abilities. That was what her jailors feared. At first, they hoped to indoctrinate her. But that hadn't worked, so now she was kept unable to use her powers. Only the powerful...

We don't want to get the story all confusing and too-long and weird and tangential at some point.) 2000 years ago, on the continent of Miracora, a war was fought between the honorable and humble Earth Dragons, and the cruel, aloof Sky Dragons. The Earth Dragons, with the assistance of humanity, won their war. The Sky Dragon's heavenly residences above the clouds were never seen again, and the relics of the war were sealed away, as the Earth Dragons took residence in the very ground to slumber. The human heroes who had led the army against the tyranny above made a pact with each other, and the one Earth Dragon who vowed to stay above the surface, to...
  9. ...cleaving the enemy scorpion in half with a single, powerful blow! Tristan then sheathed the sword. "If it requires both of us... it might be better to save it for a finishing blow or desperation move." And thus, it was justified as a Limit Break only. As the two exited the cave, Tristan found it a good time to ask questions. "Priestess or princess?" "Why do you assume I can't be both, or neither?" "The knight protecting you, 'crown and country', but also a connection and knowledge of holy weapons, and you use healing magic..." "My full name is Illyana...
  10. ...behind on time and one person is dead." "I... I fit that... first requirement." Tristan says, nervously as he extends a hand above the sword. Illy nods. "Good." Taking the dagger, she takes Tristan's index finger and lightly cuts. She then does the same to her own, and the two hold the dropping blood above the sword. The sword flashes a brilliant golden light, and the runes change. Illy quickly bandages both of their wounds, and Tristan takes the Sacred Lion Sword. "I... I'm not sure I am worthy of this sword, but I will use it if it's necessary."
  11. ...assist you with your mission in his place. I know the way of the sword, thanks to my father." Illy nods and returns to the cave, looking at the shrine. She says a short magic phrase and the shrine opens up, revealing a staircase below. As Tristan follows Illy, he thinks back to the robed men controlling monsters. "...the Demon Beast Emperor's followers, I presume." "You are sharper than you appear. They came to destroy the Sacred Beast Weapon here." Deep inside the shrine, in what looks like a coffin, lay a sword, shining gold. "The Sacred Lion Sword..." Illy
  12. the knight took the stinger into the neck, and used his strength to slash the tail in half! The scorpion skittered away dying as the knight fell onto his back. The girl attempted some kind of magic to heal him, but the knight shook his head. "Lady, my time is at an end, and I knew it. Please, just continue the mission." The girl wept, but nodded as the knight closed his eyes. Tristan helped the girl bury the knight and made a cairn with nearby stones. She wrote: "Sir Graham Tristane, protector of crown and country, loved by all."
  13. "Coming this Summer: Kiran Is About To Shoot You In The Face."
  14. "he heard the sound of a skirmish coming from inside a cave. An elderly knight and a girl his age in noble wear were battling against dark-robed men wielding what looked like dark magic, assisted by monsters. The knight was vigilant, and the girl supported him with her bow, but they were clearly losing ground, closing in on what looked like an altar or a grave they were defending. Tristan leaped in to help without even thinking, striking with his sword, but even with the tides turning, the enemy's giant scorpion familiar leered over them with it's giant stinger, ready..."

"In the world of Ragliam, an ancient war once brewed between the evil Demon Beast Emperor and those that opposed him. Wielding the power of the Sacred Beast Weapons, they defeated him and brought freedom back to the world. But it is said that the Demon Beast Emperor still slumbers under the earth, waiting for his disciples and a descendant to reawaken him... In the village of Greenshire, a 17 year old boy named Tristan prepares to become a knight, just like his adopted father Elliot. He knows the way of the sword, and prepares to journey to the capital..."
  16. Mercenary, (Bow Knight vs Hero as promotion options). Erwin is has a bad case of babyface, which is hurt by the fact that he's already pretty young. He's 17, but you could easily mistake him for being 13 or 14. Erwin has blonde hair and green eyes, and his armor is a dark navy blue with golden accents. He's of average height, muscular but not a beefcake, and he's moderately pale-skinned. Erwin's personality could easily be described as "naive, but aware of that fact". He's very brave for someone his age, he has a bit of a big brother streak, and he does genuinely believe that serving in the army is going to help save people and stop the war... but he's also aware that even when all of this is over, things won't be the same, and there will have been tragic losses on all sides.
  17. Rings, shields, bands, and the like have hopped in and out of Fire Emblem for a while. Boosting growth rates, giving skills, boosting stats... they've had a lot of uses. Do you like them? Do you want them to keep being in Fire Emblem?
  18. A spear-using (probably Soldier) mercenary character who's ending title is... The Free Lancer.
  19. Let me explain: "Death by Awesomeness" is a situation I feel a lot of people in the fandom are familiar with. A character is guarding a chokepoint or holding some sort of line with a Hand Axe or Javelin or the like, while a decent stream of enemies pour towards them. Due to just being strong, unlucky crits, and the like, the character keeps killing on the counterattack... leaving them open to get attacked by another enemy, who does some damage to them but also gets killed, leading to the character dying, when if they had left an enemy alive, it would have prevented them from dying by blocking other enemies from attacking them. Does this bother you? Do you have a solution to this?
  20. You are! You get caught and turned into a fish stick to be eaten by a preschooler. strict mother voice I wish my 3 year old son would use the potty already instead of his diapers!
  21. "When I said I wanted to know more about Korea, I really just meant I wanted Jungkook to be my husband, not this!" Hard lemonade.
  22. Go, me, it's your birthday! The big 1-4! Buttery nipple
