    FE Orchestra

Greetings! I know not everyone is a fan of the re-synth project I started five years ago, which I called the "FE Orchestra" project, and I can understand why. I let the project slip to the wayside through college, but I did want to complete a few more songs before I put the project to rest. I invite you to take a look at my re-do of Campaign of Fire, from Fire Emblem 7, and let me know what you think, either in the video or in this thread. Thanks, ~TMC
  2. Haha, well, I actually just ended up doing these in the order which I played them, which is why FE6 ends up being last. XD ~Asomath
  3. I had already begun working on the Prince's Despair and the Return of the Demon King. I've posted the Prince's Despair, which I took some liberties on, but im gonna hold out on the Demon King piece for a bit. Determination and Comrades are now on my list! :) ~Asomath
  4. 2 and a Half years ago, I posted a project entitled "Fire Emblem Orchestra." The projects goal was simple, take the old soundtrack from the gameboy era Fire Emblem games, and then repaint them with modern technology, adding a few personal touches along the way. After about 30 or so songs from Fire Emblem 7, the project eventually fell out due to outside reasons. Now, with the start of my VGMR (Video Game Music Remastered) project, Fire Emblem is once again hitting the scene. Expect popular themes from Fire Emblem 8: The Sacred Stones to be released over the next few days/weeks, and post any requests here! Take the redone opening theme as a teaser trailer: Project Song List: Cheers, ~Asomath
  5. The next major update will be on DECEMBER 13th. There will be over 15 new songs, finishing the FE7 Song list and moving on to the FE8 one. ~Asomath
  6. Hey which one are you refering to Furby? ~Asomath
  7. Update: 9/7/10 -Everything into the Dark has been remade. Check it out! -ANNOUNCEMENT: FE Orchestra is expanding. With a partnership with Casper (CSGuitar89) FE Orchestra is expanding into the rock genre. Although Fire Emblem Rock Orchestra songs will be rare, and Fire Emblem Rock songs even rarer, be sure to be looking for these gems in the future. The first song we looked at was Together We Ride, in an attempt to re-create our own rendition of the song thats been with Fire Emblem from the beginning. Welcome to FE Rock Orchestra Also, FE Orchestra has recruited another member to stem into an entirely different genre of music. Look for a site re-vamp in the coming weeks to accommodate these new wings. Cheers, ~Asomath
  8. Those are coming up Furby. Ive got a symphonic Choir on the way, for songs such as Everything into the Dark and the Princes's Despair. ~Asomath

  10. Just look at songs like Softly with Grace or Battle for Whose sake, I think they would sound GREAT with an electric guitar. Just some of them, the ones I feel would work. The question being that should these songs use rock instruments, or would it be more faithful to keep them with just an orchestral ensemble? ~Asomath
  11. Hey guys, ive reached a point where I must pose myself a question. I noticed certain songs would match perfectly with, or already use, rock instruments, such as the electric guitar (especially evil song). So, I was wondering whether or not to convert the FE Orchestra project into FE Rock Orchestra, and include a rock band with the orchestra to play certain songs more "powerfully" or to keep the original orchestra, and save the rock band for a future project entitled "Fire Emblem ROCK!". I decided to take input from those who have been following this early on. Poll attached. ~Asomath
  12. Added to my future list By the way, I looked into what we were talking about earlier. Fire Emblem FIVE was the one that had been officially re-orchestrated, so FE4 is still fair game. ~Asomath
  13. Those songs are definently of the FE6 list. And Celice, I recall orchestral versions of Pre-6 songs, but I may be wrong. If I am, and no-one has done so by the time I complete THIS project, Ill look into going into those artifacts. Cheers, ~Asomath
