Not sure what to put here, really, but I wouldn't feel right not posting an introduction at all.
I guess I'll just, uh, start with the basics of what this forum's about.
Been a fan of the series since an elementary-aged me wished I could play the mysterious and elusive game with those cool Japanese guys from Melee when I first played that back in 2002, and my original experience with the series proper was bumming the GBA games and path of radiance off my cousin (the guy ended up selling that a few years back, sometime during the late Wii era. Must've had no idea what he had). I was awful at them, naturally, and didn't quite understand what permadeath actually meant until decentways into the first third of Sacred Stones, but I had a good time and ultimately revisited the series for serious in middle school with Shadow Dragon and Radiant Dawn.
I've at the very least briefly played every game in the series besides 1, 3, 5, and Persona: Wii U edition, though that's not to say I made it remotely far in either of the even-numbered earlygames. Still, though, I absolutely admire all of them for what they were and are. Conversely, I wistfully appreciate what Fates tried to be, even if it didn't end up panning out well in execution. If you have thoughtful criticism about Fates, odds are I agree with it to some extent.
I'd call my favorite games in the series New Mystery, Sacred Stones, and Radiant Dawn.
I'm also into creative writing and the like, and have come to consider myself decently passable at it to boot.
