  1. Aurelio "Don't worry about the formalities, kid. You can call me Aurelio. Don't worry about Grant over there, he's pretty good at catching up." he laughed. Nobody had called him sir... ever. He wasn't exactly a gentleman. The girl's face made him laugh, she was almost like a child. Well, most Anri were. Her independence still confused him. "What're you doing all the way out here? Our witch hunt might seem a little weird, but to be traveling in the mountains alone is something else." he asked. "We're heading towards Shuthra, right? Dang, I only just left there." ------------------------- Ken (Doing nothing in particular :P)
  2. Aurelio "Hey, don't run off like that! Aren't you gonna wait for the others, our chances are better as a group." he said, running up to Lucretia. Why did everyone keep running away? Did he smell bad or something? "If you're looking for that girl, I'm coming with you. I think we all want answers, Grant and the kid say she's some pretty nasty stuff but it doesn't seem quite that way." he added, if she ran off now, he'd have no hope of catching her. For the second time, he felt the uneasiness around her. She truly was on edge all the time, almost like she expecting something terrible. --------------------- Ken Ken had finished his lunch, he really didn't have much to do until he left Lushira. Hopefully he'd find somewhere nice to stop off, and some people willing to be converted. (Literally nothing for him to do storywise :P)
  3. Aurelio "Heh, you're still alive then? I see what you mean about her, guys. We really need to get to the bottom of this." He noticed the girl Grant was talking to. The girl was pretty strange, she was probably an Anri - he'd seen a couple as slaves across the continent. Although her freedom was slightly surprising. "Thanks for looking after Lucretia. The lot of us have been through some tough stuff lately. I wanna see how she's doing, it's not often someone screams like that." he said, his fatigue showing a little. He went ahead and peered over the hill. Lucretia always seemed on edge. There was nothing around that could have attacked her, the Anri seemed friendly enough, so something had to be up. Spotting Lucretia, he stumbled down the hill, almost tripping upon stopping - it's icy sheets seemed to have been cruelly placed. Regaining his balance, he turned to her; "Miss me?" he said, half-jokingly, he noticed that she was drenched in blood but most of it seemed to be from lizard guts, "What happened? You're alright, aren't you?" --------------------------------------------- Ken - outskirts of Albion, Lushira Ken had spent the last few days packing for his expedition, making sure he had all his prayer books, spell books and as much bread as he could get away with. At last, he had been deemed ready. His family was quite glad to get rid of him, and he knew it. No matter, upon his return he'd share his tale and see how they felt about it. The odds are that they wouldn't be happy, but he could only try his best and smile. Sending him byhorse and cart was the most support they gave him, only his younger brother saw him off, although he deeply appreciated that. "I wonder if I can convert anyone in Shuthra. If they're all the devil worshipping heretics I've been told about, I might have a little trouble." he pondered whilst nibbling a bread roll. He also hoped he didn't run into the devil girl, the Scarlet Witch. She'd be especially hard to make repent.

Aurelio really needs to stop hanging around with Grant, I'm hardly ever on at the same time as SB ^^.
  6. As much as I'd love to see Sigurd, it's unlikely at best ^^. I'm hoping they don't give up and stop Link from being able to jump entirely. (They should so use Wolf's lines from Star Fox 64)
  7. Men to the rescue! Although this guy isn't really helping the cause! Name: Ken van Lirio Age: 31 (although appears much younger) Class: Castor Affinity: Fire Weapons: An amateur with fire magic, knows the basics for other types. However, far more competent with healing magic. Appearance: 5'8'', small build. Fairly delicate looking, with shoulder-length green hair, swept out of his face and tied neatly. Often mistaken for a woman. Generally dressed in a yellow/orange robe. Personality: Very polite and agreeable, also very caring. Due to his upbringing, he has trouble saying no. He's never been in a fight before or had to fend for himself, meaning he's relatively naive. No stranger to long hours though. Also oddly fond of baked products and nature. Origin: Albion, Lushira (born and raised). Bio: Compared to a lot of the continent, Ken has had it very easy growing up. Born into a line of priests, he began his studies at a very early age. This dominated his childhood, meaning he never really got to see the outside world. Until recently he had never set foot outside Lushira. His grandfather lead his studies, often scolding him for poor performance and lack of devotion to the Goddess. However, despite all this, he persisted and became rather proficient at the healing arts. He was also educated in combat magic but had never used it on a living target. He reached the end of his training, and has carried out priestly duties for a couple of years. He has recently been volunteered by his family to go on a tour of Shuthra for a few months, in an attempt to convert non-believers. Of course, with his attitude, they don't suspect much success. They hope that the experience would toughen him up a little! Currently, he's preparing to leave Albion. Unsure what to expect on his expedition.
  8. "Estarna would probably be a good idea, I know you don't want to lose her entirely." Aurelio replied, it was weird being the calmer party for once. "My horse should be fine, he's pretty tough. Last time someone tried to steal him, he broke a couple of their ribs." He looked over at Ormis, The kid really wasn't in good shape, that wound would probably scar even if treated properly. The snow was continuing to coat him gently, almost as if it were trying to claim him. "Pull through, kid. You've got a lot more of the world to see." Now would probably be a good time to actually get the low down on the witch. He knew she was genuine, but he really didn't see much evil stuff happening. He'd heard folklore about witches, but generally he regarded them as nonsense. Nobody can rise from the dead, right? Even magic had its limits? "Yo, Grant. Now we've got a little time, d'you mind filling me in on who that girl is? You and the kid seem to have something against her, something serious. Who and what exactly is she?" he asked, trudging through the snow. "If you start to get tired, let me take over. I've still got some fire in me." If he did, it wasn't particularly big, he'd probably make it to Estarna but fighting would be out of the question.

Aurelio's too busy with Ormis, stop dying! It's nice to see somebody else got beat up worse than he did. Lucretia makes more sense, she's more used to the cold and mountains.
  11. "Feh, I'm surprised you didn't get eaten. You must have found a pretty good hiding place." he teased. He knew he'd get Ormis' goat. Aurelio was very much surprised to see the Chameleons explode before his own eyes. He braced himself, not taking too much damage but still being splattered with guts. "Heh, looks like she saved us after all." he thought. He had seen magic before but not quite at that level. Seeing Adrian run off into the distance, he decided that chasing him would be futile. For some bizarre reason, the boy was far less injured or tired than he should be. There was no chance Aurelio could catch up, he was tired, pretty beaten up and very cold. Very, very cold. Before Adrian disappeared he called out; "Kid! I'll see you around! I'm sure our paths will cross again! Look after your girlfriend!" He laughed to himself. He was saying goodbye to the very ones he'd set out to catch. Something was up thought, this entire witch hunt seemed fishy. He then noticed Grant tending to Ormis. The boy was easily the worst injured out of the three remaining. Having no potions, he did the only thing he could. He began tearing strips out of his own jacket, creating makeshift bandages. They weren't the best, but they'd provide pressure and stop some of the bleeding. Wrapping them tightly around the boy's body, he faced Grant. "I know you want to continue the chase, but this kid's pretty badly hurt. We're near the top any way, so we can head down the way they went. Probably not quite as quickly but we can catch up with them once we find this kid a doctor. I'm not sure a healing potion will cut it." He wondered how Lucretia was fairing, she had been pretty quiet during the battle. She was pretty competent, he reassured himself, she'd probably be fine. "So, who's carrying?"

I've read chapter 1 so I've got some idea. I've also talked to SB about it ^^. We'll probably get moving once Carrion does something.

The first I see of it will be in the morning :P. That's OK though, I can't do much other than beat up Aurelio further.
  14. "I refuse to die here!" Aurelio yelled as he took another swing with his axe, decapitating another one of the horde. CRACK! Looking down the pole of his axe, he could see that the head had come clean off. The axe he was using had served him for almost two years now, it had to give way at some point. Ironically, he was going to replace it when he re-entered Astarte. Abandoning his axe and drawing his sword, he re-entered the skirmish. "Not good, my axe has had it. This thing will have to do for now, it's a bit small for my liking." he announced. Swords were alright, the weight reduction was appreciated but he was definitely one for axes. Heck, even a claymore would have been good. "Lucretia? How are you holding out?" he called, not entirely sure where she was. "Where's that punk from earlier?" He lunged his sword into the eye of a chameleon, it quickly withdrew. This seemed to be a good target, with the howling wind, they could only rely on their eyesight. A trickle of blood dripped from the corner of his mouth, he couldn't keep this up for too long. He'd experienced worse on his travels, but not by much. "How's everyone coping? I'm starting to feel it now" he shouted, he was guessing that the others were in a similar situation.
  15. That's also a viable option. The only reason I warpskipped the last chapter was that everyone kept dying. I ditched Jeigan, his durability was pretty bad. He was only a filler so I could get my warpers in the safe room.

Nice, what's he so smug about though?
  17. I actually played the levels normally, no boss-abuse at all. Turn counts were 16, 11, 10 and 3. Marth took forever getting to the village, he would have been murdered by dragons if I warped him there. Partia grants double XP so one dragon down meant 90XP. Hardin actually held onto the Orbs until Marth got to the village. I wish you'd given the Boots to Marth instead of Thomas, although having a super mobile archer was hilarious. Dondon's got what I did with the promotion items dead on. Although Thomas got the Speedwings and Midia got most of the other stuff (I wonder how much she needed to become usable). The final chapter had to be done by warping, the enemies were murdering everyone. I didn't bother with any of your weaker units, they really didn't have enough time or staying power to level up.
  18. "Ha ha, you're not as stupid as I made you out to be. I don't really care if you like me or not, let's do this!" "Hahaha, you're not quite as wimpy as you look!" Aurelio replied, fending off a Frost Chameleon with his axe. His expression changed as soon as he saw the gash on Adrian's chest. Sure, Aurelio had taken a couple of minor wounds but nothing that substantial. "Hey, kid! Watch out, you can't afford to keep taking hits like that!" he shouted, kicking the beast off of him. He followed up with a blow to it's neck, actually severing the head - although it was his third attempt in all honesty. At this rate, they'd each be overwhelmed. He moved closer to Adrian, it'd be easier to take them on that way. He could also keep an eye on him. "Hey, Grant! Our little friend's taking her sweet time!" he shouted whilst taking on another Chameleon. He was starting to feel the combined efforts of the weather and fatigue. He'd probably cut through around half a dozen by now, and his swing had become noticeably slower. He would have swapped to his sword, but he had seen the tricks the things had pulled on the others. He really did have to trust the kid on this one.
  19. As much as he disliked the new guy, Aurelio didn't want to see him get torn apart by monsters. Dashing over to Adrian, he raised his axe. He brought it down on the beast's neck with impressive force, causing a significant wound. Blood gushed out rapidly, the creature howled in pain, retreating from Adrian momentarily. Relinquishig the sword, now drenched in blood. He looked over his shoulder, smirking at Adrian. He was almost impressed by his recklessness. "I hate your guts, plain and simple. However, I'm not going to sit back and let you get torn to pieces. If your friend over there can actually get those things, I'll be more than happy to give her some cover. Pick up your sword and give me a hand, unless you want to sit this one out." He extended his hand to Adrian. He may not have liked him, but they needed to hold out for a while. The cold was also starting to get to him too, his hands had been bleached white.
  20. Aurelio took a look at the young man and the witch. He laughed, her hair wasn't even pink. It looks like he'd have to continue his search, although he'd got too involved to pull out right now. "I cross half the continent and I find the wrong girl. It's almost like you're hiding from me, Lunaria." he said aloud, as if she were behind the next snowdrift, ready to jump out. He stepped up to Adrian. He didn't like his attitude one bit. Nobody talked to him like that without receiving a black eye. Even if it was indirectly. "So you have the guts to run off with some witch half the continent's after, and then try to blackmail us into helping you? I don't know the whole story, but I don't like being told what to do by some punk." he growled. Grant was perfectly tolerable, he chose his words well. Adrian on the other hand, ticked all the wrong boxes. He readied his axe, if these monsters hunted in packs, he didn't want to get caught off-guard. "I don't plan on dying here though. You sit back and try not to get eaten, Romeo. Your chances alone would be much worse than ours." he added, making sure Adrian knew how he felt.
  21. I'd be up for some versus at a later date. I need to fix my mic, but I'll look forward to jockeying everyone!
  22. Completed it. Chapter 19 required a lot of savestate abuse, but otherwise it was manageable. I got the final chapter done in 3 turns, yay warping! Lorenz and Julian were sacrificed, Abel came back to life though! Here's your save back. http://img10.imagesh...nshounonazo.png was my final team. I managed to double Midia's strength. Thomas was also hilariously powerful by the end.
  23. He killed pretty much everyone good, overused Jeigan and hasn't raised many of the surviving characters ^^. I suppose for a blind first attempt, it's not a bad try. I actually got Starlight, this should be fun.
  24. Aurelio was caught off-guard, the flying carcass had almost sent him to his doom. He stumbled back a two or three feet, getting frighteningly close to falling. Thankfully, he fell on his backside before the edge - narrowly avoiding death. "Man that was too close for comfort. What's that idiot trying to pull?" he thought to himself. The snow was bitterly cold, but he wasn't going to let the brat get away with it. Once they'd sorted out this mess, they'd need to seek shelter. "Let's go, Lucretia!" he shouted. With a similar rage to Grant, Aurelio scaled the wall in an equally impressive time. The odds were that Lucretia had followed behind. Approaching Grant and drawing his great axe; "That's that kid playing? I'll make him a choir boy- What was that shriek? Whatever it is, it sounds pretty big." he ranted, only changing his tone mid-sentence. Clutching his axe. he boasted "This thing can cut a horse in half, let's see how it fairs here."
  25. Challenge accepted! Looking through who I've got to work with, there's Oguma and Rena. I'm going to have some fun with some others I've never even used before! EDIT: Chapter 17 done, Hardin + Orbs + Gradvius = instant death. Michaelis was a pain, I had to chip him down,
