Which one? Also, try editing an earlier chapter unit editor and always remember to apply any changes you make after you make them(this is likely the problem you are having).
i tried applying changes right after but i still have the same problem, and also i'm editing the prologue cutscene

so when i try to make eirika a myrmidon and i try to make seth a ranger it automtically only does one after i save changes in chapter unit editor. Someone Please Help! thank you for your time
edit:i figured out what i was doing wrong so everything is ok now

"Chapter Unit Editor" for Nightmare for basic enemy editing/removing.
For ADDING units, you will have to disassemble the events or repoint stuff even I don't know how to do without screwing up something.
As for text editing needs, FEditor Advance is your friend.

Here is a sprite of Ike. I used Raven from fe7 as my base and Ike is a ranger.
Please rate on a scale of 0 to 100, 0 being the lowest, 100 being the highest. If I get enough good ratings, then I'll make a sprite sheet.

Which FEs have you played all the way through? Cause it doesn't seem like you have a good background on FE at all. No offense.

FE7 doesn't have skills only FE8. So when you said skills like great shield etc they thought you meant FE8.
oh I thought both games had them. whoops.

Better get some ASM lessons... unless you have insanely high leveled but pathetic enemies stat-wise, the class relative power won't be helping you much. You need to change the EXP formula itself, which is in ASM.

It would probably be a better idea to hack FE7 for this, in this case.

Seriously? I already tried to LP one of these. Fragmaster's was bad enough. Don't show up with random Nightmare edits and call it a hack unless you decide to publicize it as a simple Nightmare hack. IMO (And probably most other peoples' as well), random shit like yours and Fraggy's is fun bearable once. After that, it's just stupid and annoying. At least try to come up with something creative besides HEY GUYS I MADE MARCUS SUCK AM I POPULAR NOW if you're going to give it to us.
And you even came up with a name. I came in here, expecting something overambitious. At least that shows that there was some thought involved. This is just pointless and stupid.
Oh don't worry, I won't release a patch if it turns out to be random nightmare edits with almost no actually plot to it. Believe me, this won't suck and if it does suck, I won't release it.

EDIT:sorry guys, i've decided to cancel this project because I don't think I'll have enough time and skill to do something like this. When I feel like I'm ready, I'll do something like this.

One thing you might want to consider first, though:
Hacks take A LOT of work. Like, expect to be spending lots of time on it if you intend it to succeed. So unless you've hacked before, I wouldn't recommend you start meddling with things like events and chapters until you have some experience with hacking ROMs with Nightmare and FEditor_Adv. You have no idea how many ambitious hacks have been started by inexperienced hackers with no idea what to do. Almost all of them were asking everyone for help, or the hack just kinda died because they didn't feel like doing that much work.
And don't tell me you're not like those other people, that you can handle it. Most of them said that too. So unless you're truly serious about making a really creative and/or special hack, stick with Nightmare/FEditor_Adv hacks for now.
Of course, if you've have a lot of experience hacking, feel free to ignore everything I just said~
EDIT: And the very fact that you added the words "before I start making a hack" kinda implies that you don't have any experience hacking. Protip: Don't start trying custom chapters until you are very comfortable with Nightmare and FEditor_Adv.
