  1. what i am saying about exceed summon is it is too easy to pull off,it almost requires no skill. if you think about probability of pulling something out of your extra deck, we have fusion, synchro and exceed. Fusion with the exception of something like the new Eheros and GB, are hard to pull because it need poly and 2 or more monster with specification. Even if you build a deck specialized in something like overload fusion with merchant mill, it still need a long time to set up. Sycnhros are much easier to pull off than fusion in general (<-in general), requirement is a tuner and a nontuner. with most of the staple synchro haveing a very general material requirement and a good range from 5 and above ( catastor, brionac, black rose, dusty, etc), the probability of pulling off a synchro with a deck is capable of doing it, is very high. now take a look at exceed, the material specification is simply 2 or more monster of same level. say we build a deck based on poping out the LV4 number's dragon something, we build a deck loaded with LV4 ( there are a lot of LV4 monsters with good effects) or cards with abilty to ss LV4 ( even trap monsters will do)and something to stall for a turn or 2, and we can get that high attack monster from the extra deck.
  2. fastest way to earn DP in WC2011 is to to rental deck duels or get breaker for D-wheel and race around breaking stuff. rental decks are like GB, LS, monarchs, six sams and heralds. They are prebuilt so it is easy to use and do not fail like structure deck duels. That new YGO anime fails, who ever made the character design should go die somewhere. they looking characters from digimon or something. i also predict YGO will go down hill because of exceed summons because it is so easy, it is just spam low level monsters until you pop somthing from your extra deck. 1 more thing, all World championship games have English language built into it even if is jap version. if anyone is interested in my SAV file, i will upload it somewhere. i have unlocked loads of packs, including storm of ragnorak. did not go into the DT stuff yet. love the karakuri stuff, mustache shogun is very awesome. anyone one know which pack to unlock for cunning of six sam? i am like 3 cards short of a broken sam deck.
  3. So i got my hands on Wc2011, anyone else have it? (unlocking stuff is a pain.) i am dying to try out those new DT cards. and ppl, caius is nice and all, but buying 3 macro decks is just not worth it. if you want money well spent, get yourself something like a legendary samurai deck off ebay, more expansive than maco cosmos deck, but much better deck. speaking of structure decks, is that master hyperion thing out yet?
  4. a properly prepared team: if a boss is broken, your team just have to be more broken then the boss. in terms of difficulty, EO series is probably along the lines of the more difficult RPG out there. another game series I consider hard, Touhou, but that is bullet hell. to my surprise yesterday, some people actually mixed touhou and EO in a doujinshi game. for those of you that does not know touhou, it is bullet hell game made by a fella who's sole love in life is loli and beer. it is sometimes said that touhou is better played when intoxicated from alcohol because there is just too much stuff flying around on your screen on lunatic mode for you to use logic to evade. if ya don't believe me, google it up,
  5. speaking of the northern sea, is there any significance to that event that was something along the lines of an angry yellow eyed old man in a storm? i saw it around the 3rd foothold at night. for the fella that want to know what to do with the droid, there are plenty of options. droids are bulky and slow and very consistent on TP. they also have extremely high attack. This class is very good for bringing out shine in most damage oriented build of other physical classes. droids as a class alone is very crappy indeed. we just like it's stats and sleep mode it can offer. ( also they have the best armor.) droid/arbalist.. it can stay at front and mortar things, can do cloud-buster with out much problem due to TP regen. a more bold build for this is the HP cannon build, but for that to work, you need a hoplite droid/hoplite. def heal+passive counter. or use rocket head and start using the shielding skills. droid/glad/shogun the more crappy build of droids because they lack the awesome damage the other combination of shogun and glad can offer. but it can offer good stats and infinite TP for those blade raves. droid/monk it is a self healing, TP regenerating tank ( it heal too). it can also bring out the good in the fist skills monks usually shy away from. this build can also be a TP battery/support attacker if it is built around drones. droids have the lowest skill points requirement for learning anti elemental attacks.also since the death of a drone can also trigger blood return, it can recover a lot of TP. damage from all out attack is decent jedi droid, i mean droid ninja have the highest combination for evasion. ninja gives sen-po ku, droid gives it night/inferred vision. if this thing goes out at night, it nearly can't be touched. ( i used this for soloing some post game bosses for fun) also due to the fact bushin carries status including binds when the ninja splits,itactually recovers TP once it Kage-batou. it lose it's magic once the sun comes out but it is a real demon at night. ( allure's attacks all missed, ROFL)
  6. speaking of bazookas, double action+HP cannon is scary. it is like hexer with revenge but way better because droids have much more hp then hexer and they are emo, so getting down to 1 hp and spam that under the protection of a hoplite is very easy. so i was messing around on 7th dragon, and the princess class is not very princess like, she is more like the darkhunter from EO2. @_@, i guess they need a sadist in this game.

Noooo, i murdered those FOE in like 3 turns. but o well, once it goes into offensive mode, nothing matters anymore, just wack it until it drops. finally kill the thing after a long grind on sea quests. just noticed it is weak against fire, that fire forged dragon bane did like 4000-5000 damage every hit when using warrior might. took it down 3third turns after it entered offensive mode i found a game called seventh dragon, looks a bit like etrian in terms of battle system but it does not have grid system. it also have a very similar class system, from what i can tell, there is fighter, mage, samurai, knights, healers, even prince/princess. the entrance to dungeon look like geomagnetic poles... this video should explain more: but the character designs are look like a cross between final fantasy and etrian, and there is slightly more battle animation that include chibi-versions of the character

  10. i need to rethink my team for abyssal god, lol. charged meteor is not inflicting enough damage to it before it recovers. and it does not get stunned or paralyzed easily. i can't seem to kill the other 3 tentacles floating around. 2 floating around the top left and 1 floating in the room directly right of the boss room. i probably need another swashbuckler and probably a higher level hoplite, but it seems easier than uruchild. i should probably take advantage of the thing's counter mode and buff up the warrior might user, since it sit and does nothing but counter for like 6 turns.
  11. i heard the Pasaran in 5th stratum drop some kind of item, i have still have to chase the ones in 4th and 5th down. i want hexer's dampen skill, i kind of miss that because it is so awesome, that is what got me the dragons' conditional drops in EO2
  12. grats, you have killed 3 dragons, now the 6 legged white fur ball called elder dragon is ready to be challenged. i still have yet to find a alternative to using bind beasts to kill it. it have nearly no tolerance to high level bind skills, but if you leave any body parts unbinded, you will die, especially the head, supernova is like OHKO with all mighty damage. i have yet to find a good way to kill it with that ninja women and the royal brats. if you want it's drops or farm it, go for the second sea quest for it because it comes with a wildling that helps you bind. it's drops are very lame for a boss that requires you to kill dragon, drake and wyrm. dragonblade is just crap compared to a set of fully elemental forged dragonbanes i stopped using Kaishaku because it messes up my plans. i don't use that berserk vow because glads are already kind of frail. instead my first 2 turns of a boss fight are usually along the lines of triple def debuffs, eagle eye, wolf howl and that other one wildings use. that sets up for charged meteor on the third turn.
  13. speaking of tanks, have yet to try this out, but ooze summon is pretty intense since most things does 1 and 2 to it, and it plagues, XD. i am nearly done elemental forging all three of my dragonbanes, and thanks to all the dragon farming, everyone in the party is like LV99. that abyssal god is looking very tempting right now. i should probably kill it before redoing shogun route to get another carbide armor. wonder what the abyssal god drops......urchild gave me muramasa..,,hope it's drop lives up to it's predecessor. and here is a question for fun, what if subclass is available in the last 2 games, what would you combine together.i would be like warmagus/hexer
  14. the easiest way to reset subclass is the rest a character. it will reset all skill points and sub class at the cost of 5 levels, which is not that bad considering how fast you can level in this. i think the stupid tree is a spaceship. I mean, it can produce robots and stuff. and 6th stratum is like.....tentacles humping trees. Thus, the ultimate fight in this game is Hippie, Hentai tentacle monster VS Space Tree.
  15. let your hoplite tank it out....is that a healthy thing for your hoplite? i am sure it will die or be near dead if the thing buff itself. ( i will take that back if you are LV 90 ish, hoplite that level with the right equipts feels like you have your own iceblock.)same can be said about dragon's random attack, since it lowers def most of the time it hits, if it multi hit something, it will be serious. that is the reason dragon's OHKO thing happens to me alot because i am usually buffing up the party so it will take 2 hits to lower the def to abnormal level.
  16. it can use howl on the first turn...@_@? wow, it always try to roast me the first turn with breath. what i worry more is the red fang after it buff itself, because if i do not have aegis shield, or some kind of stun/paralyze, it can cause some unpleasant damage that will cause problems if it start howling or trashin. worst dragon skill I think is first stratum dragon's debuff/OHKO thing, i still die on that thing when i am LV 99 because of that move. second worst move is iceblock because it is so annoying when it does that followed by Regen, i am surprised i killed it on my first try because i did not have ad null for princess. i guess it's flaw was it does not hit very hard,lol Yggroid shogun failz, there is nothing really catchy about that combination. it does not have extreme damage like droid arbalist, not as bulky and useful as some other Yggroid builds like droid/hoplite, can't be a stamina freak like a droid/monk. other than decent normal attacks, it have nothing special. maybe time to retire it for droid/ninja, droid/farmer, or droid buccaneer. i have not messed around with those yet.
  17. i make my farmer use unique weapon, since they can't kill stuff with damage, i can have them instant kill something with that knife from 6th stratum. stupid spinning tile of 6th stratum, of all the things they gave you as a passive item, why not a compass.....
  18. well, i am in no hurry for final boss, my next project is to create a really awesome dragonbane since it has so many slots,but you just need common drops from dragons. That Glad/zodiac idea really got me thinking if it is doable with Tp boosts and TP boost item/forges. if it can reach somewhere close to 300 TP by LV70, it is definitely awesome. it might not even need that much TP considering it will inflict way more damage. it might be first glad to stay in the back lines and drop rocks. dragonbane have 180 attack by default, rivals that luck katana ( why luck..shogun is a offensive unit, they don't care about drop rate). if that does not work, warrior will rest into shogun sub, reforge blade with attack/TP boost for warrior might. prince/princess also have access to it, since they also do heals, a Tec forge might do them good. there is no point in giving hoplites a forged dragonbane because they already have trident as extra armor.
  19. piss it off...as in bind it in some way? well is bound to happen. in fact that is wat happened to urchild in my EO2. loaded up 2 darkhunter with max limit and that limit boost whips. bind everything and ecstasy while the hexer revenged with 1 HP. if the thing can be stunned, i am definitely dropping lions on it. i think lion does almighty damage because even after drake did it's defense move, lion still does regular damage to it. Wildlings are just too epic, i am wondering wat determines a beast's hp value, since as a wilding levels up, the beasts seem to get more HP.

Yeah, you should not wander on to the true ending just yet because shogun route get your droids the Carbide armor, which is just a monster considering with the droids already have very high Vit. Kirikaze is been a bother during the elder dragon fight...she get in my way with her bunshins. i should probably just get a really pimped up Shogun/ninja and bunshin more than her and kage batou the elder dragon. so now it is time to cream final boss.....is it urchild hard or is it just a push over? That thing from EO2 was hell hard to kill
  21. zodiac should be at LV 70 with access to one of the prophecies, breath damage hurts, i prefer not to get hit my them. this is my team for killing dragons and post game bosses Front: slot 1:empty, (use for beasts, if AOE attack hits, it hits lion first, waking up lion, allowing sacrifices to be triggerd) Slot2: princess/monk ( it stays alive and it heals, which is important, duh) slot3:buccaneer/monk (maxed hanging for shutting things up and ascetic deeds for simply staying alive) back: slot4: shogun/buccaneer( swashbuckling with 2 death bringers, lady luck, limit boost and critical forges) slot5: wildling/ninja( drops lions, tigers and ooze. afterward, use otori on them. this turns lions into tasty looking morsels because there is also sacrifices 1 and 2, but lion bites back if you bite it) slot6: zodiac/glad ( meteor, wolf howl, and prophecy) if necessary, rest after LV 77-78 to reset point for a different prophecy. limit: aegis shield on princess, buccaneer, shogun and wildling. this is to be spammed : indomitable: zodiac, make sure my damage dealer is always around pretty simple tactic to run, use lion to paralyze/stun, charge up aegis barrier, use prophecy every 5 turns if there is no aegis barrier or hanging did not shut up dragon. i would probably take out Buccaneer/monk for a Glad/shogun or shogun/glad for more damage ( warrior might or charged five ring sword)
  22. meteor glad...so how many charged meteor are you planning to shoot off before you have to use items instead of attacking? regular zodiac/glad with charge can dish out enough damage. since you are already running buccaneer, you have eagle eye. one of the prerequisite for charge is wolf howl, it's effectiveness stacks with eagle eye.( thus, boss gets defence debuff) i am still using that as a main source of damage for the post game bosses because charged meteor deals around 600 each hit, 5-6 time is 3000-3600 damage, ( if the thing is weak against bash, singularity makes it around 1000 per hit (kraken) ). but this might work if you load up some TP accessory and forge a sword or mace that has many slots with TP boosts. i already tested Droid/arbalist, you don't need to use dark ether on a droid if you max its TP and if you rocket jump. be sure to have double action, it can make front mortar hit twice at the cost of one Arbalist/zodiac...is it even necessary to give meteor the giant kill boost? i don't know exactly how many times a charged meteor is compared to a uncharged, but i doubt having giant kill would surpass that kind of damage. farmer/Buccaneer...back row gunmen that has nearly no attack, can't make use of brave heart, can't make use of pincusion. I think this is a bad idea. if you want a battle farmer, farmer should be a sub class. Farmer have some nasty moves that can really hurt if they hit. strange seed is epic combined with bind cut, strange seed can hit up to 2 times if maxed out and can bind everything, even thou it does not hit very often. Rotten egg is useful if your party is frail s( Ein silver rose calls it "squishy"). base stat of the farmer, which have the highest luck of all classes, is definitely made for exploration and random drops ( luck affect drop rate)
  23. seeing you are going to face kajura, that means you have droids, why not retire something for one, max out sleep mode and maybe rocket jump, very consistent TP recovery( they are already slow, so making them slower will not affect them much). They are also very bulky. if you like blood return on zodiac, you should probably have a ninja that have maxed kagerou and a free slot at the front. kagerou draws attack to a certain extent and if blood return is maxed, that is 20 TP if the kagerou gets knocked out. so assuming ninja's TP reduction special is maxed, that is a 1TP:20TP ratio, not that bad. rofl....Wyrm is kind of a push over. That thing was only able to land 1 attack on my party the entire fight, most of time it is stunned, paralyzed, got predicted by fire prophecy or got aegis shielded. the only boss the lion does not work on is Kraken, i think it is immune to paralyze and stun. but on Kraken, a tiger is not a bad idea since death beat is physical attack and hits like....loads of times( that equals to loads of damage from tiger assuming some lands on tiger). so i am going to grind on post game bosses and dragons until i max out, assuming the elder dragon is going to butt rape.
  24. the lion is awesome, lol. stun/paralyze is murder on stamina bosses, it disrupt their attack pattern. even if it 1 or 2 moves that got canceled, it still does a number on the boss in the long run. the poor drake got paralyzed for 5 turns right off the bat( 4 turns of double damage), than got repeatedly stunned afterward, by the time it actually knocked out 1 of my characters, it only have 1/4 HP left. about the people that were ranting about shogun/ninja kill bosses, how effective would that be on the post game bosses?
  25. oi, since you are trying to kill the dragons, have you noticed the other folks that are trying to hunt them? i recognize the hexer and rounin for the dragon in the third stratum. Protecter from the 5th. i am not sure wat the first stratum one is, lol. Also, about the sea cucumber thing, are you sure that HP sucking move is bash? i can wait until LV80 since i killed dragon in the first stratum. ( thank goodness for shuccaneer with aegis barrier). I am also considering using a wildling on the next dragon. i am considering dropping a lion for stun and paralyze for stalling aegis barrier. lion is awesome, an AOE attack that is non elemental and non physical that double damage on paralyzed enemy.
