I must be one of the only ones who absolutely doesn't care about smash bros, and is annoyed that we're only hearing smash news as opposed to stuff about Fire emblem three houses, or xenoblade 2's torna dlc, etc... I mean, I know it sells extremely well, but unless it has an actual story mode like brawl, I just couldn't care less about smash in general anymore. I'm really not a fan of multiplayer games anymore either.

Oh man, I think I know which boss that was, since I got stuck on that guy as well And yeah, if the game has maps like conquest where there's stuff like "defend" or escaping...that'd be pretty awesome!! Whenever I'm replaying fire emblem fates, is nearly always a conquest playthrough because the gameplay is great imo. Also I agree with the other guy's post, that having an option of make a playthrough of FE three houses more linear like in fates conquest would be pretty cool!

I loved the voice acting in the same way I loved the voice acting in the original one-it's hilariously bad. But at the same time...it's also so charming and delightful! Rare blades? What are those? I don't think I ever got a proper rare blade like kosmos in my entire playthrough!

Oh no...are you stuck on the final boss like I was? xD that thing took ages to beat, and I only beat the boss by spamming Invoke, as the boss targets the clones rather than my units that I don't want getting killed! I'd like to have full voice acting again though like in echoes...

Thy lord Ike reigns supreme once again! Praise be Ike!! Seriously it's always a pleasure to see stuff like this were the tellius games get some love still. It keeps the hope alive that maybe...one day...we'll get our boi back in another fire emblem game!!

I agree, having only one trailer so far, and basically no more info than said trailer is pretty frustrating so those currently waiting for this game like me. I'm surprised it's not even going to be shown off at gamescom either apparently.

Compared to how worried I was over things like 8-4 not handling localisation, and the marriage and avatar seemingly coming back, I'm actually getting excited again for the game, as it looks like a hybrid between awakening and echoes, which is better than I was first expecting it to be. Sure a tellius 3/echoes 2.0 would've been better for me at least, but this game has been on my mind a lot in a positive way, and I'm wondering if anyone feels the same way I do? Not only that, but my hatred for awakening and fates has seriously died down as of late, as while they may not be exactly like what I want out of fire emblem, I now realize I still like them quite a lot as I've recently replayed them (my play time for both games combined is 400+ hours now). Also I've recently finished xenoblade chronicles 2 at around 130 hours, and I loved playing through that game as well!!

Wow it's been AGES since I last uploaded!!! Anyways, here's some more stuff I've been working on for anyone that cares... Some monster I've remade recently, that I'll be putting into my own metroidvania...someday... New Sniper Custom Animation (meant to be a reskin of the original but improved) My metroidvania's main character, but as a GBA fire emblem battle animation!! Any thoughts my dudes?

Back again, this time with an upgrade for my game that took an EXTREMELY long time to implement properly!! As you guys can plainly see, the bullets now ricochet off walls...this feature was HORRIBLE to suffer through, in terms of coding it all and making everything work! Also to make this an actual fire emblem related post...there's also this that I made.

With 8-4 now confirmed to not be localizing this game, and the avatar seemingly being all but confirmed at this point, I'm now preparing for another fates-type game that's more about player customization and options, rather than better world building and character development, at least compared to the older games. I don't really care if anyone likes these games in the sense that I don't look down on them for liking fates or whatever...but I personally truly do prefer the old games, and I was really hoping that they'd take what worked in echoes even further in the next game. Echoes and especially Ike's games, they're some of my favourite games ever made, whilst stuff like fates are still fun but nowhere near as good as the others for me personally. Sure I could be dead wrong (and I hope I am for that matter) about all this, but unfortunately echoes didn't sell nearly as well as awakening and fates, so I guess I should've seen it coming that they'd bring back another avatar and stuff. It's just a massive shame not only that the game was delayed (meaning I don't have any new games coming out that I want to buy this year now) but also it might not even be the type of fire emblem I really care about in the first place! Hopefully I'm wrong about all of this!!! Also, when I think of fire emblem, I think of Jill with her character development, or Soren opening up about why he's so cold and bitter all the time. I truly adore these characters and am also heart broken that we likely won't see them ever again in a main fire emblem ;_; RIP Jill, the ultimate fire emblem character...

Given all the other evidence pointing towards yet another avatar character in a new fire emblem, you're probably correct unfortunately, as much as I desperately don't want another avatar in fire emblem again.

With the likeliness of a new avatar character, the whole "interact with other characters to build relationships" stuff and now this....I'm far less hyped for fe 3 houses than before. While fates was a good game, I don't consider it to be anywhere close to tellius and echoes for me, just because I found the story and world building extremely poor in comparison. Sure it may turn out differently, but I'm gonna expect the worst for now and hopefully be pleasantly surprised, rather than potentially get hyped for a "tellius 3/echoes 2" type game...only to find more memes and bad story writing. Meh, I'm gonna be playing smash ultimate because of Ridley, for that general time period anyways, and I've already spent over 40 hours in xenoblade 2 so I might as well continue that and forget about this game. And I'll probably even enjoy this game even if it turns out to be another fates. It's just it could be sooo much more if that's what happens in the end....
