It'd be interesting getting a team now and making a really polished romhack. I do see a future for this. In any case, I do hope you finish this LP, OP. It has been interesting so far.

Worry not, OP. I will bump with a smaller batch of replies. This is to page 5 I might have held back in some way. I had this whole Drillman promotion planned out. If I recall correctly, the very next patch was gonna be focused on promotions and adding the custom Drillman. I got stumped as to where to start and that was the beginning of the decline that led to the extended hiatus in its development. The main issue is really the custom spriting. I can draw but it doesn't translate very well into sprites. At least, I haven't found the method to do so properly. Tana indeed ditched the pegasus to focus on the Church. Not sure about the killing though, but you never know with these people. Denning is always awesome.

I looked for a link to ATOM and everything is indeed dead. I think it is possibly in an old laptop, but who knows when I'll get around to extracting the old hard drive's data. I find interesting that these games put you in such situations. I just figured that in that world, in that game, that's the way they spoke, and I just went with it all the way. I saw all that tutorial text, and just thought that I had to change EVERYTHING. Out of all the things I intended to change, annoying tutorials just kind of slipped from "not as annoying" to "as annoying as possible", kind of unintentionally. This is... surprisingly accurate. Well, all I knew is that I wanted it to at least have the brave effect and work in less range. If I do end up making a patch in 2016, it'll be to nerf the Short Bow and cut back on MFV's tutorial dialogue (can't guarantee anything about typo fixing, though). Once I reply to the main comments I'll reply to the LP itself, where I can. I'm also thinking of, if anything, updating the GhebFE and GhebSaga videos, which will probably lead to me doing some fixing in those games. I'll be archiving those old videos and updating the description and format to fit what I do and what I am now.

Somewhere in my notes, Gheb's mother is called Ghebbunta. Her being a prostitute is fairly accurate (entirely accurate).

I never use reaction pics, but I think the only way I can convey my constant laughter at reading all of this is with this: This is not mockery, but joy. I find this really cool and fun. And I'm agreeing with a lot of the critcism and cringing at some of the things in my own game. I almost want to dive back in and make it all better, but it's just not that easy anymore. Well now I feel silly. You'd be surprised though, the homoeroticism has more to do with the Gheb fad than with myself and my interests. You could say Gheb in these games is Pansexual (in the worst possible sense...) This- Its a play on "Original Character: Do Not Steal". Anyway, art is not mine. The character in question is Aitos, which appears with his own class, animation and everything in a late test. However, now I feel I should add a steel pastry somewhere in the game. Apparently all the links are turbo dead. But maybe I can dig something out for you from my oldest Mediafire account if you really want to try it. I really have no idea if it is still there or lost in the ether. This guy, yes. He planted the other primordial seed of GhebFE. Is he still active anywhere? I just didn't have a name and just figured something out now, but yest, the plan was 3 and more if I could manage, but the circumstances were different back then, and eventually I had to stop working on it, for my own good. I am on a much better track now, trying to find the time to work on something more refined.

Okay, here we go with page 1: Really? :< I in no way actually speak or write in any way close to what shows up in these games. I'm reading these screenies and my I'm like "Damn, did I really write all that swearing? Did I make all those jokes?" Mind you, I'm not ashamed of it, because I know better and I'm not really like that, but looking back on it I really hadn't realized the... volume of these things. As for the typos, it is mostly due to typing quickly, and it was generally direct to Hex, if I recall correctly (in GhebFE). In GhebSaga with the Nightmare tools that were out then I could write on a text file but it was still a bit iffy to work on the typos. I just wanted to put the thing out there. Additionally, any poor phrasing you may have found is largely due to English being my second language. There are however a few pet phrases/memes that I do type out because I enjoy them as you will catch above and below. Here is some fun trivia: I hail from Puerto Rico and only pursue men. Currently very happy with a partner of one year. Indeed. I don't think I really planned on adding anything even remotely suggesting that into any of the games either. Certainly not because of shame or anything, just didn't think it was appropriate. All these years and I still happily consider myself a furry, but I don't really involve myself in the community. It pleases me that despite not really approving of the thing as whole you still wonder what is up with it. I honestly wasn't sure what I was gonna do with MFV. I just had some basic elements that I wanted to add and the story for each chapter came out as I worked on the chapter itself. For example, I wanted to add my ohsee donutsteel and eventually put him in the latest playable chapter shortly before stopping work on it, and I wanted him to fight erryone. I don't think anyone was ever meant to be In-Character (though I see how that could've been one of many tiny saving graces). Instead they were following either some bad GameFAQs fads or something I came up with based on the trends then. Stuff such as "Cornmug" just came to me, though. Yeah, not meant to make sense. Kind of. Sort of. Sorry for the tutorials, guys (I think). Bravo. This brings me back. Glad you found these. I like your dedication sir. Kiwi, though. Kiwi was awesome. I wonder where he is now, and if he is still doing that third person Kiwi thing. There was this mini story about Kiwi and his shotgun Bob, and it just stuck to me... I loved it. My personal success with Atom (or Aotm, Attack of the Morphs) was doing as much as possible with JUST the Nightmare editor and nothing else, if I recall correctly. If you guys haven't read about ChinaFE, then look it up. It is THE base for GhebFE, that and the super weird fanfic. Those two = GhebFE. It was going to be GhebFE (FE8), GhebSaga (FE7), and GhebInfinity (I just made it up now, FE6)

Hi guys. I go by Aitos, Aitos Saibankan or FurryYunSeong around the internet. I found this topic through a twitter link that I seem to have caught a month late or so. So I don't know if this is what "graveyard posting" or what have you. I have lost touch with forum etiquette, its been many years. I have an older account that was what I was planning to use to post, but there appears to be, at the moment of posting this, a problem between my side and this server. Not sure what, but it has taken me about an hour to get this reply going. During that, I caught a few stray replies in this topic and I can definitely say that this is, in some odd way, heartwarming. The message that lead me here asked me to provide insight, and if it this insight is still of interest, I will keep an eye on this topic and provide it. I will pick out posts and reply accordingly as I read all the pages, if that is welcome. In any case, I just wanted to post to show that I've taken notice and that I find this very amusing and interesting. Gathering from the few replies I saw I can provide the following: - Yes, I was young and dumb when I made this - GameFAQs was all about fads - I had just finished playing Portal - I take no offense of any criticism made to it because I am very aware of how flawed it is Besides that, here are some other tidbits: - I was, quite obviously, learning on the go - There is (or was) a dedicated Gheb forum called GHEB - It was inspired by a very bad Gheb fanfic series And lastly, brief insight: - I tried firstly to make a challenging game - Secondly to switch around the roles of villains and heroes - I innovated where I could - I had a lot of fun working on this and the feedback was great - Great learning experience
