Thanks! I have New-Sun on her at the moment, I'll try and get Dragon's Stone if it shows up later. I... may have gotten Atk/Spd Pledge instead when I had the chance, forgetting Moonlight Stone has cooldown charge built in 😐

for what it's worth, a pledge+emblem marth engage with dragonstone+ is looking to be comparable to her Prf at the moment, possibly even better, since it still allows her to loop negating fang(you lose the turn 1 instant charge but full nfu and spd-true DR are very strong upsides to make up for that). It's what I'm set to redeem on her at present, and pledge is still +9 Atk/Spd even with her prf(you lose out on the oath warping or incited status taking it over other options with the same statline) so it mostly just changes what supports you run her with. Running someone with soaring echo or other warp support instead on NFU support, Incited is PP only so it isn't particularly notable on her.

  2. "Mmm, that's... Jeremiah is probably fast enough to make sure that didn't happen, but I can understand why it would be a... concern. Anything more than a play bite from those teeth would do some damage." Roxanne replied, a quiet, somewhat awkward chuckle escaping her as Cass' attention seemed drawn to Jeremiah's current fight, hopefully the shark didn't take offense at her assessment. Watching his opponent dive and leap around like a spring certainly was interesting and unexpected, and when it was all said and done the odd lizard collapsed, asking for a healer in a rather eccentric, but certainly endearing way. Roxanne had already been about to start walking when Cass asked her, the sheep giving her a salute and a quick flourish of her staff.

"Special delivery, one white mage as requested. I'll just need your signature and we can drop off your package." Roxanne cheerily replied as she touched her staff to Iris, letting the healing light flow into the lizard, making some attempt to match her cheek. Looking over at Jeremiah as the challengers continued to line up, including the fox merchant from the other day, Roxanne pointed her staff in his direction, not advancing on him quite yet.

"Do you want a pulse, Jeremiah? While I'm certain none of us have really hurt you, small cuts and scrapes can add up." She offered, wondering if the man would accept the new challenger. The fox, Kise, was an odd one. Her ability to intake life force... it was quite strange. Roxanne couldn't help but wonder what sort of mage one would have to be to come up with that sort of ability...

  3. "Heheh... yeah, really." The sheep answered as Cass seemed incredulous. Given her circumstances since leaving Lufiria, romance hadn't really been on the table, but it was tough to explain that with much brevity. Luckily enough for Roxanne's composure, Cass seemed content to move things along towards the idea of sparring with Jeremiah.

"I mean, I'm not a Tiger either, so I don't see why he wouldn't go a round with you. Going to help with the assault seemed to be enough to get me in." Roxanne noted, thinking over the shark's idea of a round two for a few moments before shaking her head.

"He already has me figured out. Against an opponent on my level, I could maybe brute force, but he's different. I can't catch him by surprise again, so it would only come down to whether he chose to give me enough time to attack before conceding. Given he already told me his evaluation, he probably has better things to do then repeat the same thing over."

  4. "I don't know about innocent, so much. Just not used to all that much... interest." Roxanne replied, shaking her head just a bit. It wasn't enough to erase the blush from her cheeks though, the burning continuing as Cass added on to her appraisal. To an Islexian, any proper display of magic would be considered impressive... that was one advantage Roxanne had, she supposed.

"Magic really is something... even growing up surrounded by it, seeing applications like Miria's still make me giddy... crazy is definitely a good word." Roxanne replied, mirroring Cass toothy grin, not that hers was anywhere near as impressive a display.

"And yes, cute you are. You're probably... definitely out of my league in all this if you're anywhere near skilled as you are confident, but I still think so. Ehehe..." Roxanne flustered a bit, trying to hold her own even if only just a little.

  5. I'm feeling good today. Hortensia and Ivy really let me bring HMia up to feeling way better, and Miasma specifically means I don't have so much riding on LCamilla on AHR(I still want copies to use, but I can try for her later without the extra need) but most of all, I got a friend request today, and their lead unit was a BW forma of my SMia! Sometimes I wonder if anyone would really grab someone like her since superfans probably have builds lined up already, but it was a nice feeling to see her out in the wild like that.

Would slapping Ivy and Hortensia's kits on a Scion Nanna be a good idea? i.e.

or would she be happier with a Spd-oriented staff?

Also, if I inherit an X skill to a Rearmed Hero (or Arcane weapon to an Attuned Hero) can I then inherit it onto other characters through them? I know if you put one of those skills on a regular unit it's locked to them forever but I don't know if those Hero types are exempt from that rule.

As always, thank you all in advance!

I plan to do that exact inheritance chain for my Halloween Mia, it's going to put in good work for prfless/older staff units. Probably won't perform as well as Hortensia herself because of her C skill but expectations etc. She might prefer a more offensive arcane staff down the line, but we don't know how long it will take to get one, and this staff itself is still quite potent.

I believe that arcane/echo skills can only be passed on by their original holders. Hortensia can inherit Soaring Echo(and it's quite potent on her since she has a Prf C) but she can't pass it on to anyone else.

  7. It seemed that the Tigers were adamant on intending to uplift her, with several of them chiming in to respond. There was little point in trying to refute them... even if her conduits were born of her inherent inability to use magic properly, they were effective and she had learned to pilot them well. Conveying that the thing they were so impressed by was a product designed to fix her was difficult, but-

"Stop it, Roxy-" The sheep muttered, winding up and slapping herself on both cheeks with a quite audible clap, as her face went from red with embarrassment to just plain red, the woman flinching at the feeling.

"-Ah ta ta... too hard, mmmn..." Roxanne grumbled, rubbing her cheek to dispel the sudden pain, before chuckling just a bit. What an embarrassing display.

"But you're right, I'm from Lufiria. So of course I know about Jeremiah, you're right, I know you are... sorry, not the time or place for this, is it?" Roxanne shook her head, the slap marks finally starting to fade from her face. Gathering her composure, she gave the new arrival a friendly wave as Cinead introduced her.

"Nice to meet you, Siorel. Congratulations, Cinead seems nice... sorry again for missing your wound." The sheep added, not pressing as the duo and Lucretia seemed to break off for another sparring session. If he hadn't been offended by her missing it and was fine, that was what counted in the end. Of course, Roxanne's composure wouldn't last long, Cass following up with another compliment and blatant flirting, bringing the red that had just been fading from her face right back, a nervous laugh escaping Roxanne.

"Ehehe... I'm not really used to this sort of attention. But, err... if you're really interested, I wouldn't mind talking with you, Cass. You're, mmm... pretty cute yourself, hehe." She finally concluded, weaving her fingers together and squeezing her own hands. It was a tad concerning that the shark seemed intent on devouring her in a sense, if her multiple innuendo were any indication, but when you're near water, dive into the deep end? Something like that, probably.

  8. "Yeah, I'll take a look at it later, Miria. Go get yourself fed." Roxanne replied, beginning to stand and helping the tired cub up with her. If she was still stumbling once they got moving, it would be the cat's responsibility to keep her upright, but she was sure it wouldn't be a problem. What might have been a problem was that the shark was continuing to show interest, making several remarks about Roxanne, causing the woman to turn a bit brighter in response. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate the attention, but the sheep couldn't help but feel it was perhaps a tad misplaced, with all of the interesting folk up and about.

"A little more than just a sheep you could say, yeah. Though I worry you might be getting your hopes up a tad high, I wouldn't want to disappoint you, really. If you like magic, that's good though, I can, err, that is to say... Mmm..." She paused, unsure of what to do in this sort of situation. Blanking somewhat, she latched onto the first idea that came up, the training.

"it is, it will. Err... it has to. We can't just let a guy like that do as he pleases any longer."

  9. "Thank you, Cinead. The Moonless- Jeremiah's skill is legendary, so you're right that his insights are invaluable. I'm quite impressed with what I've seen of the Tigers as well... this is quite the opportunity. Thought it might depend on ambition, the road to improvement never truly- Oh! Let me-" Roxanne began, addressing Cinead as he approached. Cutting herself off midway through her spiel as she realized the man was still wounded. As she was halfway through grabbing her staff, one of the other healers beat her to the punch, mending the large dragon back to health. Scratching the back of her head sheepishly, Roxanne let out a quiet chuckle.

"You could have just said something, I would have healed you before sparring with Jeremiah. My apologies for not noticing your wound earlier, Cinead..." Roxanne apologized, making note that apparently Miria had nearly caused an incident with her ability before. It wasn't entirely surprising, the deployment method seemed peculiar, and it was a strong spell. Easy to potentially miss something seemingly innocuous in the blast radius.

Little time to ponder it too deeply though, as their little gathering soon gained another plus one. Turning to the new arrival, Owen's shark of a sister, Roxanne's ears twitched slightly, both at the boisterous voice and at being observed directly. As Cass continued her appraisal, Roxanne couldn't help but blush a bit, a tinge of pink reaching those ears at the battering of praise.

"Err, well... not quite enough it would seem. If Jeremiah taught me anything, I think it's that I rely a bit too much on shock and awe, getting rid of an opponent before they can get a read on my magic. Heehee... well, not hiding really, I chartered a ride on a trading vessel from Old Asqua. Regardless, I'm sure someone of your standing has better things to be doing... I'm just your average monster, really." Roxanne shrunk somewhat under the attention, ears flattening downwards in embarrassment, though the pinkish-red tinge didn't fade from them.

  10. "Hehe... others have tried, huh? Well, that makes sense... even if it won't work, I'm curious. That was some really impressive magic... an Arcfire is higher level magic than I can use myself, to be honest. Or at least use properly, I could maybe force something if it came down to it but it would probably be a bad idea..." Roxanne noted, gently papping herself on the top of the head and sticking her tongue out for a second as Miria rearranged herself to rest against the wall.

"Hmmhmmhmm... well if a little food and downtime is what you need, then that's good at least... ahh, but if it knocks you down like that I guess it's really situational when you could actually use it in a skirmish, huh?" Roxanne noted, nodding her head in rhythm with her musing, and letting her pointer finger rest against her cheek once her head stopped bobbing along to her "hmm"s.

  11. Miria attempted to respond, however it seemed her exhaustion was a little more pronounced than Roxanne had expected, the little knight quickly collapsing into her in almost a mirror to the end of their prior match. Letting Miria rest against her and slowly lowering the both of them to the floor, Roxanne instinctively pat the cub's head, trying to get her to relax. When she was finally on the ground and no longer needed to expend the energy to keep standing, Miria gave what explanation she could, though it seemed that she wasn't overly sure herself.

"Shroud? Oh, your armour... hmm..." Roxanne pondered for a moment, Miria was channeling her magic through the armour, much like she herself used her own conduits. The difference seemed to be that Miria's innate magic wasn't very pronounced, and was likely being amplified in addition to being unlocked for use. Curious...

"A conduit, huh? Sort of like mine... do you mind if I take a look?" Roxanne asked, curiousity getting the better of her. If Miria said no, she would understand, but seeing things like this was always fascinating. Luckily, the time it took to reach that conclusion also gave the gears turning in Roxanne's brain to catch up to reality, turning towards the cat who had also come forward to congratulate Miria.

"Oh uhh... she could probably use some water and a bite to eat, I think. What do you normally do at a time like this, Miria? Do you need to lay down?"

  12. Roxanne nodded along with Jeremiah's reply, her face beaming even if she didn't interrupt him turning towards Miria. First Tio, and then Jeremiah... Tio could be partially explained away, her interest aligning with Ulara's own technological capabilities more than Roxanne's perhaps, but Jeremiah's praise came directly from trading blows. It was her, her magic, her piloting of the technology that he had acknowledged. A few tears welled up in her face for a moment, but Roxanne swiftly shooed them away before turning her face to Renais, smile still beaming like the sun, eyes just a little puffy.

"They really are unique, only Miss Tio has something similar that I'm aware of. I'm just glad that I can finally do them proper justice." The sheep responded, eyes drifting over to the bout between Miria and Jeremiah as it began to start. Something that quickly became obvious was that Miria was struggling more against Jeremiah to begin with, the instructor giving her a full reset after a botched opening. Roxanne knew that Miria was skilled enough, so it likely meant that her more conventional approach just didn't match up as well against the seasoned veteran. As they began again, Roxanne's eyes lit up at the same time as Miria's blade, lightly hopping in place and clapping her hands together as the cub began to joust Jeremiah in earnest. Her armour, the flaming blade, Miria really was just a delight to watch. She didn't feel much magic emanating from the girl, but a glance told the real story.

Still, despite Miria's best efforts and effortlessly badass visage, Jeremiah swiftly disarmed her, removing her flaming blade from her and asking her to concede. Rather than that, Miria had charged into melee much like Roxanne herself had. And just like Roxanne had, that melee had been followed up with magic, but unlike Roxanne, no one could have seen that magic coming. Roxanne's jaw hung as she watched... she wasn't exceptionally familiar with anima magic, but from the sheer energy of the spell it must have been an Arcfire, engulf Jeremiah seemingly out of nowhere. Miria had turned her back to the man and summoned such a high-level spell, almost succumbing to exhaustion immediately afterwards.

As the dust settled, Jeremiah made clear that he was fine, but his weapon was not, and he conceded the match. Miria's wounds were already being attended to by... not Renais? Another healer had approached, and Jeremiah had asked for her aid which had been quickly administered. The cat that had been conversing with Miria earlier had made her presence known as well, praising her for a job well done. Roxanne had no intention of holding back the same, although she made a point to reign in her excitement just enough not to bowl the girl over, given she had just clearly exhausted herself. Instead, she simply grabbed hold of Miria's hands, shaking them up and down somewhat erratically as she grinned, eyes twinkling.

"She's right, she's right! Your armour was impressive as is, but that flaming sword, an Arcfire? That was an Arcfire, right? You're amazing, Miria! How do you hide your magic so well, I would have never guessed you could do any of that!" Roxanne bombarded the little hero with her appraisal, her prior hopping and skipping mostly replaced with nearly vibrating in place.

  13. As Jeremiah withdrew his blade, it seemed that was the end of their session. Roxanne stepping back the slightest bit as her funnels withdrew with a glance. Centering herself as she took in his words, she gave him a quick smile.

"Well, when doing something the expected way will get you killed too, sometimes a surprising gambit is the best choice, right? You really figured me out in an instant... I don't know if I should be impressed or terrified." Roxanne replied, going over his comments again in her head, placing a finger to her chin and slightly bobbing her head.

"You're right though, it was the same with Miria. It's harder to use them when I need to focus so much on defense... you're both at a higher caliber than what I'm used to fighting. You call that prolonging, though?" Roxanne paused for a moment, her cheeks puffing into a pout as she gave one stomp with her foot.

"It was like you changed out of nowhere. I know I'm better at taking magic than direct hits, but you were definitely going harder after that first exchange. I know if you were serious serious it would have been my head, but prolonging things would have been more like focusing on evasion, wouldn't it? I guess it doesn't matter, but it felt way more like you were trying to gut me after the first shot." Roxanne eventually shook her head, her expression returning to cheery.

"But, if I surprised THE Jeremiah Noire enough to make you even a little serious, then that's a win in my books. I'll have to try and get in more matches with the Tigers... if Miria is any indication of the quality of fighters here, I think I could learn a lot."

  14. Roxanne's gambit had paid off, her initial assault connecting from both sides of Jeremiah, but as expected, the man didn't seem much worse for wear. As he launched a counter from his levin sword, Roxanne braced, immediately obvious that the man would not be missing his shots. The bolt hit her centre-mass, the initial shock being softened by her armour, allowing her to take the attack relatively well with her own magic resistance.

"Maybe I can witness you go all out someday, rather than feel it myself." The sheep replied as Jeremiah began to close the gap with incredible speed. Something felt... different. As all of her space dissolved in an instant, Jeremiah's blade felt more intense. Sure, her magic resistance was stronger than her physical defenses for the most part, but it was clear from the strength of Jeremiah's blow ripping into her armour that he was attacking with greater intent on his second go. She had managed to tag him with several grazing blows during his advance, but it was clear that like with Miria, she couldn't properly fend Jeremiah off in close quarters with swordplay. Barely redirecting a with her beam blade, the same sort of tactic she had tried with Miria wouldn't work, the swordsman weaving through the volleys of light magic attempting to suppress him with ease. His assessment of her abilities was pretty much spot on, despite having only witnessed them for a few seconds at best. What a terrifying individual...

'Here goes nothing then...' And without any more thought behind it than that and certainly too focused to verbally respond, Roxanne took advantage of her biology, shoving her head forward to strike, ramming the Moonless Arbitrator in the forehead in a bid to create space. Luckily her horns and sheep skull leaving Roxanne completely unphased by the impact. In a swift followup, Roxanne's conduits rained magic into Jeremiah as she thrust her beam blade forward towards him.

  15. "That's right, I am. Not the most common sight around these parts, but I could say the same of you." Roxanne nodded at his assertion. So then this sort of magic, like her conduits, wasn't common practice in the alliance, but his wording seemed to imply that he had prior reason to suspect as such. Given how little they had interacted... that she had recognized him? That must have been it.

"That suits me perfectly well. As curious as I am to see you in proper form, I don't think I'd remain conscious long enough to take any of it in." Roxanne replied, shards of crystal forming in each hand. Channeling light into the gemstones, as soon as they were properly cooked, Roxanne hurled the pair of crystals towards Jeremiah. Arcing through the air towards the man, as they came close both of the makeshift explosives went off, showering Jeremiah in sharapnel alongside a blinding light and harsh noise, meant to disorient him. At the same time, under the cover of the flash grenades, Roxanne called in her funnels, the conduits taking position around Jeremiah from multiple angles and immediately raining magic onto him. Taking a defensive stance, the sheep watched Jeremiah like a hawk as she fired volley after volley of light, certain that it wouldn't keep him pinned down for long...

  16. Miria said she was fine, but Roxanne allowed her staff to press against the cub and pour it's healing light into her anyway, washing away the remnants of battle from the little knight. By the time she was finished with that, Jeremiah had responded, calling Roxanne forward, were she ready to begin. Before she could though, Miria answered in tandem, getting a light chuckle out of the sheep. She couldn't help but gently ruffle the girl's hair as she bowed in apology, before stepping towards Jeremiah.

"It's fine, Miria. We both just finished, so it makes sense for us to both go one after the other. And yes it is, Mr. Noire." Roxanne noted, allowing the tattered remnants of her crystal armour to fade and break away into dust, the armour reforming itself in place. It had taken a good beating against Miria, and wouldn't offer much against a seasoned swordman like the Moonless Arbitrator with obvious damage to exploit. Taking her place across Jeremiah, Roxanne observed him for a few moments.

"So, what combat rules are you putting forward for this match, then? Given it's a training exercise, I'm sure you have certain goals you wish to meet here."

  17. "Mmm, I'll be alright Miria... you're a lot stronger than the folk I'm used to dealing with." Roxanne responded, making a bit of effort to stop leaning on the little knight. If nothing else, bleeding on her less would be a positive outcome. Luckily it didn't take long for the Tiger's self-proclaimed primary healer to come over to her and mend her wounds, Roxanne taking the opportunity to stand up straight and stretch a little after being healed.

"Roxanne Vallena, charmed to meet you. So you're Renais, then? Alvira mentioned you." Roxanne noted, recalling her prior conversation. So she was enamoured with the evokers, huh? Well, she couldn't really blame the girl too much.

"I'm a bit of a healer myself... I'm a bit more adept with offensive magic, but I can patch someone up well enough... just not, y'know... me. Speaking of, how are you doing, Miria? Not that I want you to be hurt, but it'd be pretty embarrassing if all that magic hadn't dented you at all." Roxanne asked, looking Miria over as she did so. She was certainly not lacking in scorch marks and wounds upon inspection. Roxanne instinctively reached for her staff, worst case Miria would get a double shot of magic if Renais sprung on her first.

"Well either way, they were good matches. I wonder if... looks like Jeremiah just finished up." The sheep noted, giving the man a wave as he appeared to be talking to Cinead, the state of both of them indicating that they had just concluded their bout.

  18. It seemed the Knights on the bridge weren't pursuing... at least not yet. So long as that remained true, that flank was secure, especially with Rivane riding ahead to scout the other side. That left herself, the ex-captive Rina, and the Princess somewhat splintered from the rest moving through the upper treeline.

"Hmm... looks like the other have those set of woods covered. There's a small break in the trees here, we should be able to cut through and flank, I think. You're a little closer, but I can cover you." Willow noted towards Jilyn, as she began to move forward and dipped into tree cover.

    Willow to 14,15

  19. Miria had clearly already adapted well, managing to deflect and evade the incoming fire far more than her first go around. Roxanne managed to get one solid hit in before Miria closed the gap, lighting her beam blade as the knight closed in.

Miria's blade struck first, biting into Roxanne's side as her own swing went wide, funnels assisting with suppressing Miria, but not landing any decisive blows.

Another exchange, blades catching for a moment, iron against searing light and crystal core, before a break. Miria was faster, blade striking out to cut Roxanne’s arm on the retreat. A few more small hits from her conduits kept Miria hemmed in, but the knight was already in her favoured range. It would have to come down to the next exchange. Seeing Miria take aim at her centre of mass, Roxanne tried to bolster her armour to eat the hit. Miria was a superior swordswoman without a doubt, which left Roxanne little choice but to attempt a gambit. Miria's sword crashed into her armour, as Roxanne’s beam blade connected with the magic golden plate.

"Ghk!" Roxanne croaked out, her armour giving way to Miria's attack and biting into her torso, the hit dispelling her focus enough for Roxanne's own blade to dissipate before it could do more than gently cut Miria's skin. Collapsing momentarily against Miria's chest, the sheep let out a resigned groan.

    "Urgh... round is yours..."

Has IS said when the Alcryst + Eitr banner is being rerun please? The only tweets I can find are about the poll. The banner's not listed in the January calendar but I wondered if they may have tweeted the info out at some point and I just missed it. Thanks in advance!

The rerun is scheduled for April according to the tweet from the feh account

  21. Things seemed to be getting a little more hectic in the area, which left Roxanne to assume that folk were getting into their matches. Miria seemed raring to go, taking the sheep's explanation pretty handily... though given she didn't actually know how Miria's armour worked, Roxanne couldn't tell whether the comparison was apt or not. As Miria moved into position, it seemed round two was set to begin.

"Alright, show me what you've got, Miria." Roxanne noted with a nod, as her funnels swiftly moved into position, taking shots at the golden knight as they began to weave through the air.

  22. Luckily enough, Miria seemed to take it pretty well on the chin, and was back on her feet soon after being healed. Roxanne let out a relieved sigh as she put her staff away, nodding along as Miria noted the armour was a work in progress. Well, it already looked awesome, so Roxanne could only imagine what it might be like when it was fully finished.

"As long as you're alright, and I can imagine. If I came up to you in a big fight and you did that, I'd be pretty surprised myself. As for these... well, most people can't do this. It isn't a spell or technique, it's a conduit. They-" Roxanne caught herself before launching into a tangent, rubbing the back of her own head bashfully.

"-mmm, without talking your ear off, they were designed to focus my magic. In order for someone else to do it, they'd need their own set. I've only ever seen one other, but I'm sure that they can make more back home if they wanted to." Roxanne decided to leave it at that unless Miria asked for more info, giving the girl a nod as she asked for another round.

"If you're up for it, then sure thing Miria."

  23. It seemed somewhere along the way, Roxanne had made a miscalculation. Unfortunately, by the time that realization had made itself known, it was far too late to correct it. That miscalculation was, of course, that a magically conjured set of golden armour would provide a formidable amount of magic resistance to it's wearer. In practice, however, Miria was quickly overwhelmed by the swarm of funnels, opting to attempt to evade rather than use her armour to push through, as it quickly gave way to her beams of light. Repeated blows from the conduits swiftly took Miria down to the ground as her armour faded, Roxanne jogging over to the fallen knight and retrieving a healing staff.

"Oh geez, are you okay, Miria?" The sheep quickly asked, pressing her staff against Miria and channeling magic through it into her. As she continued to heal her sparring partner, she offered her other hand for Miria to grab.

"I uhh... may have gone a little overboard... but your armour was so cool, I got excited... I thought it would deflect magic a bit more... please be okay." The sheep added sheepishly, awaiting a response as Miria's wounds closed up.
