To be honest, I feel if it not for Lucina the votes for Chrom, Leon and Elise will be a bit higher. Most 3DS Era fans just support Lucina and cannibalized other 3DS FE game character's votes. Heck, distribute half of Lucina's votes to others and it will be a total domination. RIP my blond Marth, I will had fight for you too bad that there Lucina.

I have 1100 flags to rally behind Lucina, Lyn vs Lucina the upsetting is not happening again. Leo's and Elise's supporters will probably join our rank, there Chrom's army too. This war is good as our! #TeamAwakeningFighting!

Speaking as a casual fan, I'm not really hyped for SoV. Actually is there any hype at all? After the greatest that is LoZ:Botw, SoV look so stale compared to it.

They really need to clarified that which side of the fandom that this game is leaning toward, I know many will be piss off if it isn't like Awakening. Hell the game is launched next month in Japan and there barely any hype being driven by Nintendo. The views on YouTube is way less than Awakening and Fates, hardly any present felt on the internet for this game. Switch is eating up all the hype right now, sending a game out like this pretty much look like Nintendo doesn't even seem to care about this game.

The same reasons why any FE characters is liked. No particular reasons, but I fell for (during my most hardcore 2d>3d days in high school) Lucina because main character status, good character, attractive design, the game had insert character available and said insert character can marry her. This is the perfect reason at least to me why she is so popular, adding to the facts that her game was the most popular. She single handedly converted me from the old FE to the new. I loved Lyn, Hector and Eliwood as much as any veteran. Mark x Lyn was my old OTP until Robin x Lucina came to light.
