  1. What was with that last scene though?

    Spoiler

Why would Alm fight Celica when she appears to be possessed? If he was instructed to use the Falchion to free her, Alm didn't seem aware of what would happen, but Judah did.

    Also,

    Spoiler

What is with Berkut's insane laughter, dark aura, and somehow turning what appears to be a dead Rinea into a fiery demon that attacks Fernand?

And speaking of Fernand, I want to know his motivation.

Pretty sure we stated that Hidari was a male already... anyways, you're missing Nomah and Mycen. Some of us also mentioned Fernand, Berkut, and Rinea.

Could've sworn Hidari was a woman.

Mycen is right before Celica on my list.

    Nomah: Typical Sagely old man.

    Fernand: Othello's Iago anyone?

Berkut: I got a major Pokemon rival like vibe from him day 1.

Rinea: Too pure for Rigelian nobility.

BTW, sorry if this should be marked a spoiler. I'm new here and don't know how.

  3. Alm: Still holding on to a bit of his old nerd look. Pretty good though.

Grey: Mousy face. I get a teenage Peter Pettigrew vibe.

Tobin: Basic, but good. The one guy who pulls off the acorn hair.

    Kliff: Alright.

Faye: Cute, but her colors are rather dull. Makes sense though given the story.

Lukas: I wanna have him as a roommate. Best bro.

Silk: 100/10. Succubus in Holy Woman's clothes. Marry me! I love how the female designer made the fanservice subtle. We don't see her butt, but it's implied to be nice. Classy woman.

Clair: Looks like the stereotypical popular girl, but is so sweet.

    Clive: Dutiful soldier.

Python: Perfect, effortless hair. I want his hair style.

Forsyth: Not much to say. Looks like a nice guy.

Mathilda: Kinda wish she was brunette. Otherwise, perfect for Clive.

Tatiana: Pure beauty. Perfect match for Zeke.

Zeke: It ain't broke, so it wasn't fixed. Better than ever.

Luther: Like his edgier look and fiery hair. Thought he was a girl in Awakening.

Delthea: Younger than expected. Thr tooth is odd.

    Mycen: Best Pure Jagen.

Celica: Flawless princess. Not my type though.

Mae: Spunky, stylish, confident. Tasteful fanservice too.

Boey: Recolor Ricken and make him taller! Lose the hat too!

    Jenny: Meh.

Saber: Cutthroat with a heart of gold. Or maybe just a lover of gold with moral standards.

Valbar: Here comes the Champaign Chin! DUH DUH DUHHHHH!

Kamui: Cool guy with epic hair. Chon'sin justification.

Leon: Typical pretty boy, but with substance.

Atlas: Why SoV needs an axe class playable.

Palla: Perfect beauty. Not Silk level though.

Catria. A bit more mature than I would like, but still good.

    Est: Classic Est.

Dean: Epic look. Not much else needed.

Sonia: Femme fatale with morals. I like it.

Conrad: About what I'd expect for someone in his role. Well done.

    Did I miss anyone?

All of them seem good now actually. Even Atlas (Some what). However, in terms of gameplay, Faye seems to be the best. I mean, that spell pool though. Though, personal preference goes to Grey for looking fine af and also looks like he could be a good unit.

I dunno. Faye seems to have the worst speed and maybe attack.

Grey kind of reminds me of a cross between James Potter and Peter Pettigrew with that face. Not bad at all, just unexpected.

Not quite. It is stated someone did married her, despite she never giving up on her feelings on Alm. To be fair, the ending also states said person married her even aware of that, so it's not like he didn't knew what he was signing up for.

And disappears at times too. Tharja/Kellam anyone?

I don't think this is an issue.  In the original Gaiden, any class that had only 1st and 2nd teirs had some special ability in battle that gave them an advantage over teir 3 units.

Falcon Knights dealt effective damage to monsters.  The remake has apparently changed this to just 10 extra damage.

Saints, or promoted Clerics, healed 5 HP to all adjacent allies at the start of each turn, much like with items like the Holy ring.  This stacked with rings and other HP regeneration items making them like the healing Jars from Chapter 1-4 from Radiant dawn.

Sages healed 5 HP to themselves each turn, likely to balance out the amount of HP they lose with spell-casting.

Preistesses gained access to swords at melee range, and is akin to Celica's starting class.

I don't know how the Saints and Sages had their class abilities altered, if at all, but this made the classes more balanced.  Or... that was the Idea.  Falcon knights were OP in the original.....  I dunno how much more useful they'll be here, but we'll just have to wait and see.

    This is what I mean.

Yeah, they do. Hence why we're likely to see people who refuse to promote their villagers until level 20 wondering why they aren't getting anything for it.

I really don't know why people have such a problem with bad growths. The real gains in Gaiden were promotions and items. I'm not going to complain about them being changed, but because of that characters like Cliff are now weaker because of growth readjustments.

I can already see the Miiverse posts. "Why did I only get HP?!"

Fair point. However, its really hard to judge how powerful the Divine Dragons are vs the Earth Dragons, since it seems like 1) they have to avoid using their full power, as doing so would lead to degradation and 2) the Divine Dragons have this really weird no direct interference policy where they like to act through humans they give powerful weapons to.

Plus the fact that it took the 12 Crusaders to beat Loptyr doesn't work as a direct comparison, since Loptyr's bloodpact has his full power and consciousness tied to his bloodline where the 12 Divine Dragons just infused their bloodlines with a portion of their power. Seems more like they went the route of quantity over quality.

Wouldn't Tiki be a good example to study Divine Dragon power? Regardless of whether or not she uses full power, every manakete she fought would typically go down in one round if not one hit due to her divine status.
