@Blade Lord Lyn oh definitely! I get so excited thinking about the possibilities for the switch game! Fingers crossed we see it at E3. Maybe we'll get more than just fully voiced lines and also get full on character models interacting during conversations!
So I see you have the characters from fe 7 on your profile so are they favorite units beside Mark. Wish they expand mark in an fe 7 remake, he probably be the only make sense avatar character in a remake since he the orginal Avatar :)

Your okay sorry if I came off as an butt, I just get tired of the new games being the butt of older fans( more so Awakening since it my favorite fire emblem game). I do like the old way too but everybody had to have a sabby past in the older games to be 'interesting'. Character can still interesting when the have a normal life.

Uh. I started with fe7 in 2006 or 07 I have play all the old gba games I haven't play the consoles games.I have played both the DS so I know how the older games are.

I found out in reddit the the developers were going to add a Avatar character to the remake but than they decided not to since they wanted to focus on Alm and Celica. I guess that confirm they aren't against the MU being in remake. Well I guess there Chris but most probably thought he be a one time thing for remakes.

I have no clue why Awakening dialogue was a nose dive but what ever I am used to Awakening being the butt since it a popular game. Fates dialogue was okay but I agree it had an anime charm to it but all fire emblem has some anime ethics to it since you know the anime drawing style, the whole shounen protag some fire emblem leads are, Alm is one but he toned down a bit.

One time I moved Alm next to Faye and I hear "Hey you need to be careful, youre hurt" that level of immersion and character interaction is beautiful.
I don't know how to take your jab at anime fans but the dialogue seem great.

Well okay than his PS1 and PS2 games sold like crap and I think when he got sue it mess with his creditablity a lot. Sad to see he not doing anything now a days, except for that free indie game.

Even if you're one of the ones who doesn't want to download roms or play fanslations, 2/5 Kaga games were released in the west as remakes. You should probably play at least one of them.
I don't think people care about kaga anymore his indie game didn't get any coverage like at all so he an wash up developer. He made the first 5 games great doesn't mean I have to play them I also started with fire emblem 7-8. I play the two DS remake games as well so I know about good old fire emblem.

I am most certainly not downplaying new fans. I'd like to have newcomers experience games like FE4 and 5 because they are pretty good games with pretty good characters. For instance, I'd like a remake of FE4 because Arvis has the potential to be Fire Emblem's best and greatest villain if he were given a proper expansion. That would be an excellent treat for both old and new fans.

Your okay. Yeah most new fans won't try the old games one because they are dated as heck and the other because it has only have permanent death.

Sorry I meant like he was saying in my opinion was he downplaying the newer games and also when he said newbies needs to play Kaga games it tick me off like he was saying new fans aren't fans until they play one of Kaga games.

I am glad that there are other journalistic sites that are giving the game good press. I want this game to succeed because newcomers need to experience more of the Kaga-era Fire Emblems.
I am 90% sure that Genealogy will inevitably be remade because it'll have marriage and children (you know, when it was done well and with purpose) as well as familiar game mechanics like the weapon wheel.Oh wow an elitist an 7.8 is not bad the game probably when rounded its around 8/10. More people are mad it got lower than Awakening and Fates.

You seem bent out of shape because he took points off because of marrige I mean if the person(s) like the feature and come to find out it not in the game of course are going to mention in case someone else like the feature too. Weapon triangle is fun to mess with and it take some enjoyment out of it since it gone but it'll be back next game. IS is fine with taking risk because the switch Fire Emblem will most likely have the feature that people come to love/loathe about fire emblem. So marrige S ranks, weapon triangle and possible an avatar in the next game since in an interview for echoes they said since there no 'avatar this time' which probably means it an stable in the games for now, unless your an remake.

You can use it as an offering and that cures the entire party. It was originally planned that only older characters could actually consume them individually.

To me the sale are decent not amazing or great like Awakening or Fates but it still did sell like 80% of it shipment so yeah. We all know the switch games are what Nintendo is really concern about. The Fire Emblem franchise to me is about high B tier to maybe really low A but that it.

The story first 45 min are good but the game has a lot of talking and that might turn people off who just want to play the game. I have to say Echoes is the most dialogue heavy fire emblem I have played.

I think IS just wanted to jerk off Ike Ragnel again that all. He is the most popular character from the heroes poll but most of his votes came from Smash fans probably. Ike get so much uneeded wank and people say Corrin get wank they haven't met Ike, even though he deserves his wank to an extend not that much wank.

I wouldnt a avatar in FE4 case since I love the thought of fighting with Sigurd till the end and my child unit taking up the banner and fighting with Seilph and Julia. FE7 remake most likely will have a avatar since well they already had one.
