Listen to Thrash? I know alot of metal fans that don't.

Metallica is a particular favorite of mine.

Haha, when it comes to specific genres, most bands are a little ambiguous. You'll get something different from every source.

  3. Mav

Aw, Mastodon is pretty pro. Never really considered them sludge though.

  4. Yeah, I know. That needs to change. Haha

Happy birthday, even though I've already said it on every other site. :P

  5. Mav

Haha, I dunno. I prefer hard, fast, and heavy when it comes to my metal.

Compared to alot of other genres, sludge is good though.

By which I mean anything mainstream.

  6. I did NOT know you were here.

    It's Mavvie, BTW.

  7. Mav

    Cool.

I'm really not into sludge, though. Haha, outside of metal I listen to alot of hardcore punk and Alternative, like Red Hot Chili Peppers. XD The variety of genres I listen to is ridiculous.

Metalcore takes top spot, definitely (Killswitch, As I Lay Dying).

Then probably Melodeath (In Flames, older All That Remains)

    Then Mathcore/Experimental (Dillinger).

    How about you?

  9. Mav

Yeah, I know. It's a radical difference for me too.

    You in to post-hardcore?

    Newest obsession: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsD4NlT2BSw

  11. Mav

    Nah, it's pretty good.

Considerablly toned down compared to my usual tunes, but I'm a fan of all branches of metal/ post-rock.

  12. Mav

Haha, yeah. Dillinger is awesome, just because it's so distinct.

    ASILD is pro.

  13. As I Lay Dying. <3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImyL6XtKs0s
  14. Trufax. Not so heavy. But still great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DdrkZkKN0s

    Newfoundland, Canada. Haha

    Check this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XX5uKOGGQIc

Doubt if you'll like it, the time signatures and rythms are incredibly dissonant. But I just got this album today, looking forward to it for months.

  16. Mav

    Aw, that's pretty sweet.

We never get any concerts on my lonely little island. Haha

  17. Mav

Yeah, I've heard of Whitechapel. They're pretty good.

  18. <3 RAtM. This is essentially the greatest metal song ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HurcA3NFKcg Or maybe this. Total metal CLASSIC. Or the Killswitch Cover, which is heavier, and has some of the best pinch harmonics ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXZJk0wxLY4 More Killswitch. Gotta Love 'em. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy9jrWdRZws
  19. Chimaira, if you want some groove metal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWjSrFvHOzU I'm just continually pumping shit out right now, tell me if you want me to stop.
  20. I can see how you'd make such a connection. Not a big Dahlia fan personally, but they're still pretty great. How could I forget Asking Alexandria? This guys vocals are some of the best in metal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWjSrFvHOzU
  21. Technically, it's Mathcore. Which is essentially metalcore turned up a notch. Strange time signatures and off-beat riffing mostly. It's the lead singer and drummer of Killswitch Engage. Mostly Punk and Hardcore you say? The Word Alive. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=2B6-B-rsIrg I see myself as a connossieur of all forms of metal.
  22. How hardcore you looking for? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI0hkqX81uM Blood Has Been Shed.
  23. Alright. The body is not going to be at all the same once it's finished, I'm just working off the original.
  24. Well apparently you people aren't familiar with the word "Feedback." Here's something I'm working on, It's not near being finished yet, but I want to know what people think.
  25. You have the chopped off versions of all the mugs. The ones that appear in the status windows. Your colors are a bit bright, and some of the hair doesn't match up, but otherwise they're alright. PS.- You're missing the "S" at the end of "Ours" in your sig.
