Midnight to 4 AM is the best time to summon.

I summon in color order clockwise (all reds clockwise from an arbitrary starting point, then all blues clockwise starting from the last red, etc.) (skipping colors I'm not summoning) unless it's possible to summon with a pentagram (clockwise or counterclockwise every other orb as if drawing a pentagram).

If I absolutely must, I will draw a summoning pentagram inscribed within a circle on a post-it with the character's name in the middle because I don't have enough space or merch in my apartment to make a proper summoning pentagram with merch.

This makes me want to make a pentagram of Fire Emblem Amiibo on my next summoning session.... lol

yeah, this is kind of me right now. Gets even worse when you want to try out new characters. But, alas, as F2P players, we have to really look into what we've got and work with that. I gave a Sophie the Raven+ and she's not getting the most of it, if only because she lacks one of QR or Bowbreaker. Same with an adult Tiki I am building.

With me, it's the Nino that I'm trying to build, and a lot of units that just need one more skill, like Eirika needs a special, Hector needs Pivot and a lot of my units still need Death Blow.

That's kind of where I started giving it more importance. I never really cared for CYL, but it's not like the message doesn't carry through to other things. A guy in the comments also mentioned that, to him, orbs are a form of currency. Seeing it like that, it helps you through. Personally, I'm ocassionally having trouble with it because I kind of need Fury, QR and Swordbreaker. Today, I just wanted a Henry or Sophia with my ideal IVs (+Atk/Def, -Spd I guess).

I didn't care about CYL either (I haven't summoned on that banner once) And in my last attempt to save orbs, when I got to 75, I was merely trying to save for the Magvel banner. (Too bad I have nothing to show for it) however, that failure has really reinforced the idea that I need to save as much as possible if I really want to get what I want.

I'm also having trouble with a lack of fodder, that's really the only thing that's making me want to do some summoning right now, I have so many plans that I can't do right now because of a lack of fodder.

i dont usually do anything like that, but sometimes before they add a character i really like i play the game they were in a little sorta just to remember why i like them but also kinda for a weird sense of luck

i did that when they added the fe9 characters, although i think more for the former reason that time

i got none of them, and almost 5 months of summoning almost only greens later, after finishing that fe9 playthrough 2 or 3 days ago, I still don't have soren

so yeah I don't usually do anything but I did do that and it didn't help

I did something like that before the Sacred World banner. I played a lot with Tana on Sacred Stones before summoning hoping that somehow it would help me to summon her.

    It didn't work :(:

I feel I have the worst results when I try to establish a summoning pattern. So I'm always changing it up. Sometimes letting my brother summon for me.

Honestly, I also change it up a lot. Before it was my Alm Amiibo, it was my Celica Amiibo, and before it was Amiibo, it was something else.

  6. Do you do anything to try and 'increase your chances' of getting a 5 star whilst summoning? Turn your phone over while the animation plays? Pick certain orbs first? Only summon at certain times?

Personally, whenever I'm summoning, I place my Alm Amiibo on my phone while the animation plays. So far he's gotten me 6 different 5 stars.

I also have Xander, Reinhardt, and Cecilia as my only units currently at 3,000. Raising units to the cap is tempting, but I try to avoid the temptation because it makes me want to stop using them in favor of units who can still gain HM.

I have 18 units at at least 2,000. I think 14 of them were there before the cap was raised, with Luke, Delthea, Palla, and Gwendolyn being new.

I had this same struggle back when the cap was only 2,000. I stopped using a lot of units after I got them to 2,000 during a Tempest Trial.

I'm pretty sure I maxed out like 8 units on the first Valentian TT.
