  1. Dragon Quest IV is a good starting point. You experience a short story for each of your party members before gaining full control of the hero, and it helps set up the world and what's going on. There is a mini prologue where you control the hero, but after that you spend a few hours playing as everyone else.
  2. Here's who I'd like to see: -Banjo and Kazooie: After Microsoft said they'd be up for the characters to be in Smash, my heart skipped a beat. I love the Banjo-Kazooie games, so seeing return to Nintendo for Smash Bros. for a while would be awesome. -Solid Snake: I miss Snake being in Smash 4, so let's see him come back. -Isaac from Golden Sun: Not much reason behind this choice, I'd just like to see Golden Sun represented. -Geno from Super Mario RPG: While the Mii costume is nice, it's just not the same. I could see him having a charge moveset for all his specials to replicate how his specials are in Super Mario RPG. -Waluigi: Again, not much reason behind this choice. I just want to see Waluigi dual it out as an underdog kind of character.
  3. Luigi and Ness have been mains of mine since Smash 64. When Melee came around and I unlocked Roy, he became a main for that game. I was sad he was taken out of Brawl, but when they announced him as DLC for Smash 4 I was so happy to have him back! Roy's my boy, after all. In Brawl I picked up Meta Knight. I eventually realized how good he was, but I like the character so I kept using him. As for Smash 4, include the previous 4 characters and add on Corrin and Kirby.
  4. I'm in the same mindset. I found all the classes useful throughout the game, and I really felt everyone was contributing equally. If I had to pick a favorite (not counting the overclasses) I would say...Dread Fighter. For one, the Dread Fighter loop is amazing for stat gains, they have great movement on the map and good defense/resistance, and all my Dread Fighters made getting through the post game dungeon so much easier.
  5. First off Spectraman, congrats on completing Conquest on Lunatic. I haven't played the game myself, but I've heard how difficult Conquest can get. I can only imagine how it would be on Lunatic! What was the most difficult chapter of the run for you?
  6. Boy, that's a good question! I found myself liking a lot of the characters in SoV, but if I had to pick a single favorite...Jesse. I liked his cheerful personality and his willingness to help. It's especially funny when he tries to hit on the ladies (such as Silque in one of the Memory Prisms) yet can't get anywhere. He was also great in battle, having some very good stat gains in my first playthrough.
  7. I'm really looking forward to this being released. I've enjoyed listening to certain tracks via YouTube, but it's just not the same as owning the physical release. Owning the entire soundtrack will be great.
  8. Hello everyone. They call me The Unlikely Knight. Here's a bit about myself. Like a lot of people, I was introduced to the Fire Emblem series thanks to Super Smash Bros. Melee. I always enjoyed playing as Roy, but never played any of the FE games that released over the years. This has begun to change thanks to Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. While I picked up Awakening and Sacred Stones a year before Echoes, both games ended up being set aside. Echoes, however, was a game that caught my eye right away, and was a very hard game for me to put down. Finishing the game gave me the encouragement to keep going with the series, and slowly I'm making my way through the other games, and am finding this series to be a fast new favorite of mine! Anyway, I found out about this site, and thought I'd join. I'm a big fan of RPGs and fighting games, with my favorite RPG series being Dragon Quest and Etrian Odyssey. I love music of all kinds too. I'm looking forward to discussing the Fire Emblem games, characters, and everything in between with everyone else! (Oh, and as for my user name: I've always liked using knight like characters in games thanks to them being strong attackers or defenders, depending on the game. Basically I like characters who can tank one way or another!)
