Thank you guys very much for the detailed, helpful responses. I really appreciate it. @Ertrick36 CRIT I understand the importance of looking at as well, but what about HIT and AVOID? How often do you look at an enemy's hit/avoid rate/your hit/avoid rate? I kind of wing it when it comes to those, I always assume someone will hit me, and I never check AVOID. I realize AVOID incorporates the weapon's rates as well, but doesn't a unit's SPD usually accurately indicate how hard it's going to be to hit them?

So the only stats I ever really pay attention to in FE are these:ATK (STR/MAG + Weapon MT + Weapon Rank Bonus)SPDDEF/RES...and only when I need to check how much damage an enemy will do to me, or if they'll double me. That's literally the only time I'll look at stats. Do you guys consider that playing poorly? I feel like maybe I am compared to y'all. Currently playing through Conquest Hard for the first time btw, still early on.
