    I wanna say Three Houses will release in the spring. I remember it being listed as a 2018 title in Nintendo's financial (or maybe it was a fiscal report). I think there was some certain feature that caused the game to hiccup and they decided to delay it into Spring to iron out kinks in a certain mechanic. That's just what I feel though.

    I can only hope the end of Three Houses doesn't have our Avatar die, go to heaven meet people they killed and your army you take to the final boss call you back with a "Wake up 'Avatar', we need you!" I felt in Fates that was so slap-dash, they pretty much copy-pasted Awakening's scenario onto Fates.

    I may be being old fashioned but I really like the idea of having just one dancer/refresher per army. I want it to be a treat to be able to use a dancer successfully sort of a "Here have a valuable unit that can do a really valuable thing, but use it wisely!" Because dancers/refreshers are built pretty frail using them takes the right amount of finesse to pull off. The potential to get one singular extra move is special having another unit that can do that and be field deployed, in my humble opinion takes away the magic of dancers. And please, give exp to dancers for dancing, that's their primary function on the battlefield.

    Rather than that let's not make a second triangle but give ranged their own niche. Bows have 1-3 range. Magic can inflict certain types of damage to certain types of units, encouraging you to pack all kinds of different tomes. Daggers like in Fates can inflict stat penalties.

    I thought the point of Heroes triangle was to simplify the weapon triangle enough for it to fit on mobile devices. This is a mainline Switch title we're talking about I think the Switch can handle more complex tactics. Then we have to count in grey units such as Daggers, Bows and Healers, they're outside the colored weapon triangle now and could have an unfair advantage.

    They could've meant that but I am asking them for clarification. It's the first thing I asked. To that I say let Heroes be it's own thing, it's kinda watered down Fire Emblem imo. Mainly because I love classes that can use more than one weapon. EDIT: Thanks for clarifying ElectiveToast.

    For mages? Typically a Mage has decent resistance so sending a mage to hit with magic isn't your smartest move WTA or not. That and I'm not sure I want all my mages restricted to one type of tome based on color. Then you have to add in whether or not you want dark or light magic. So on top of remembering Light beats Dark, Dark beats Anima and Anima beats light, you also have to remember Grass beats Water, Water beats Fire, Fire beats Grass, it's sorta convoluted to have a weapon triangle within a weapon triangle.I don't want weaponception.

    tbh I just thought Mir was trying to back up his opinion not spam it. I too see the logic of not sending two mages at each other given they have similar stats.

    Exactly what is wrong with sticking to your opinion? For me I'm not going to change my opinion until I see evidence that supports the other side of the argument. And can't you just agree to disagree? Eesh.

    There's a reason you only get one singer/dancer ya know...? What stops two or more singers/dancers from infinitely dancing/singing for each other? If each lord gets one dancer per route if they go the multiple rotues way, that'd be fine.

    Ah I'm sorry, I misspoke. The slow info-drip we got regarding Fates really killed my hype to play it to the end given I knew before the game came out which characters died when you sided with each of the Kingdoms. So right now I can see the value of experiencing something firsthand rather than have the story and big moments spoiled for me. Are there a lot of strategy rpgs I'm unaware of? I know Disagea, Valkyria Chronicles, Final Fantasy Tactics and XCOM. But other than that SRPGs are a rather hard find in the market. Yeah FE has gotten pretty popular lately I won't deny that.

    Nah not worried. I'm pretty sure the only reason we haven't heard much about Three Houses is because FE is a pretty niche title and there are two juggernaut series coming out in Winter. Fire Emblem would get over shadowed by Pokemon and Smash. Probably in a January direct we'll get more information about Three Houses. I'm still ok with the lack of trailers, I don't want the entire story spoiled by too many trailers (*looks at Fates*) so let them take their time.

    Not to be my usual too negative self but I strongly doubt we'll get another Fire Emblem direct. I mean unless they either announced a Binding Blade remake or it's focused on Three Houses I don't know if we'll have enough content to warrant another. My main thought was we got a 2017 FE direct because of the volume of things announced in 2017 for Fire Emblem. Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, Heroes and the FE Switch announcement.

    January isn't horribly far off. I mean September is more than half over and the Switch has an ok library. I'm oddly happy about how quiet things have been lately. I was super pissed when almost the entire story of Fates got leaked early, it really killed my desire to play it for myself. If our next trailer comes in January and the game releases in March, I'll be pretty happy.

    Ahh I see what you're saying. I myself see Young Tiki and Adult Tiki as the same character, just different ages. So I see where you coming from but they're the same character just designed in vastly contrary ways.

    Err, I though people called Camilla, Cowmilla because of more reasons than her breasts, albeit her breasts do add to that. Like the "horns" on her Norhian crown vaguely resembling the ears of cows, the fact that's she very nurturing and cows are very nurturing to their young as well. If it were all about breasts wouldn't we have Cowgero, by that logic? She shows just as much, if not more cleavage than Camilla. I agree the one on the left is most definitely Linde and on the right it's obviously Summer Edelgard. ;3 Gotta get the hype train for Three Houses!

    Hrm, what if the girl is holding up a beach towel. That's what it sort of looks like to me, for some reasons that gives me a dancer esque vibe...

    In my opinion both Yusuke Kozaki and Hidari added elements to the characters design that really made them "pop". But of what we've seen the three main characters them being in primary colored uniforms, it sorta put me in the mind of Yu-Gi-Oh GX. >.> The art is ok if not a little generic.

    Maybe she's nuzzling the blade, that looks extremely similar to the one the Rudolf-esque character wields, because she loves him? Or loved who he was in the past?

    Err, correct me if I'm wrong but weren't popular "waifus" Azura, Lucina, and Cordelia too? I'm not saying they're ironing board flat or anything but yeah petite gets some love in the fandom too.
