  1. Yes yes yes Hawkeye's tale!

I made another post in the PM about a concept for this one Arch, feel free to tell me what you think.

Guy's tale sounds interesting enough, but I'm not sure if it would be worthy of a whole new tale. Perhaps you could make it an addition to Tale 6, or a second part/epilogue for it?

Alastor's tale sounds cool too, I kinda missed the old Raven's tale aha, despite preferring the new one. Perhaps Alastor could be a highly regarded member of the Qatar(I think that's what it's called) guild and Tessa could join him as a playable character. :P

This wasn't in my original list Arch, but I think you should change Opal's spawn point so she can't end up on the same tile as Jan.

I was trying to unlock the Last Reed achievement, but I don't know how to do it (would someone please explain? :S)

  3. Guessing Athos being alive kept Arcadia hidden. Looks like the magic degraded to just a sandstorm after his death?

The Ch4/Ch14 similarities are a throwback for sure, and there are a couple of other maps with similarities too. But there are distinct differences between Ch14/Ch22, particularly cliff locations. Either the map designers were lazy or this implies a major change in the region over a 20-year period; perhaps the oasis is receding?

Yeah, these sound like reasonable explanations.

    It's most likely just laziness

These are basically the same map despite one is in Pherae and the other Sacae somewhere

Wow, I never even noticed that :O You're probably right then aha

  4. I haven't played FE6, but apparently the Rutger map was the same map they used on the Erk/Priscilla map in FE7, just with a slight variation? It may have been laziness, or it may have been an intentional throwback.

Yeah, that's different, the two maps you're talking about were intentionally the same as they were both set in Laus. These two maps however have no direct mention of being the same place.

  5. So I was just looking at both desert maps from the Elibe series, and something struck me as odd:

These similarities seem to suggest that they are the same map. The cliffs use exactly the same tiles in each game, and the spacing of the bones is identical.

Now, this has pretty big implications that Arcadia was not even where we thought it was at the time of FE7, as the player's placement in chapter 22 is literally at Arcadia. Or perhaps Arcadia is not able to be seen by outsiders, as the inhabitants want to live in isolation?

I'm just interested as to what you guys think about this, is it a very subtle hint, or indeed just some lazyness by the original mappers of FE7?

  6. Arcadia Mega Map:

This is my interpretation of what Arcadia would have been like at the time of FE7/before FE6.

I do have a chapter design for it, but hey...it would probably never come to fruition :P

  7. 'The Three Amigops' (I assume you misspelt amigos) achievement won't unlock for me, despite having found all of them, and 'The Temple of Time' achievement won't unlock either.

Its says there are four people wielding a master sword, I'm assuming they're Alastor, the swordmaster in Hector's tale, Stephaeo and the general in the second part of Legault's tale. I've defeated all of them, but the achievement hasn't unlocked.

Also, the secret shop in the Tale Select is bugged: when you scroll down the items list this happens:dBkRpMN.png?1?8283

  8. Lol...I tried to get as far south as I could with heath to visit all the houses and the village. What a disappointment getting an iron sword haha :(

Out of interest what is in the southern-most house? It's literally impossible to reach with the halberdier who moves onto it and Erk's dimebolt...

  9. One thing I can see is that from our point of view, on the left side of her face, in the FE10 portrait she has an indent near her chin, but in your portrait the outline of her face is completely round, if that makes sense ><.

  10. I have absolutely no clue how/why/what patch I used, but Snipers are getting +1 range.

I'm sure I intended it at some point. So I'll just leave it in. But it's been showing up on everyone's bug reports, lol.

I just noticed in Legault's tale that the double bow only has 2 range, despite Opal having 3 range as a sniper. Dunno if this intentional though.

  11. Now I've managed to get inside the Bonus Content Section, 2 of them don't work.

I assume its still in the works, because it says that Bonus Content will be included in the final release. It's cool to see Astor's new portrait though.

  12. Wow Ashunera looks great! I think the translucent robes look fine too. The only thing that seems a bit off is that the neck is slightly too narrow.

  13. You can use DiskAid alternatively. It will let you see all the files on your ios device. If you patch fe6 with the english translation, you can drag and drop it into gba4ios in DiskAid and it'll be ready to play.

  14. Hmm...interesting method you used for completing the chapter :P

You missed some optional conversations between Rashid and Kerning and Lucien and Kestrel, but not anything else. The secret items are in pr3x and pr4 if you want to know :)

Let's just say you should complete pr3x asap, and the one in pr4 is made pretty obvious.

  15. 1. You need to have cliffs beside the waterfall.

    2. The cliffs in the bottom right need fixing:

    • The very bottom cliff has tiny gaps inbetween each tile, there are tiles with a spot of dark brown in the corner to solve it. (hope that makes sense).
    • The upper cliff needs fixing, as the perspective is wrong. The very left cliff tile should be moved up a tile to correct it.

    3. I'd remove the mountain fort tile to the left of the castle, because ti looks unnecessary.

    4. I wouldn't cut off part of the village personally, I think it looks a bit tacky.

    5. Some of the grass tiles are spammed a bit too much.

    6. You are using some of the wrong forest tiles; some just cut off straight into the grass tiles.

    7. The forests ened more irregularity, and there should probably be some to the top left of the lake.

    8. The paths look unnaturally straight, they should perhaps break off at points and be more irregular.

    9. The light patch of grass above the river looks too square imo.

    10. The mountains are too straight.

I recommend you read Primefusion's map tutorial
