I think the pro and cons will be the characther themselves as customization kill chances either house be more unique(each with a different specialization) but seems Black Eagles will be canon as they are pushing hard Egedl as the main waifu

After fates make us pay for other routes...we will get a limited route splitting, in tactics ogre term, if academy was chapter 1, each house is chapter 2-3 and all converge for a mega chapter 4, all little and limited unlike fates, IS is very cheap nowadays

For the gameplay, given the RPG nature of the game limiting the cast to around half a dozen, I actually think reclassing could work really well for it. And not like the promotion system they had before, actual reclassing where each character has around three classes they can fight as. Not necessarily exclusive classses either. We could have two pegasus knights or cavaliers (although everyone's story default class should probably be different). Assuming a cast of seven and two alternate class options, that would give us 21 different characters to use in terms of gameplay which would spice things up much more (we didn't even get any Fighters, Clerics or Wyvern Knights in TMS, not to mention interesting stuff like Dancers and Manaketes). Especially if you can change classes during combat, Final Fantasy X-2 style. An on that subject of changing things, let the main character switch out. That was the one real blemish on what was otherwise a fantastic gameplay system the game had.
I think sharing the weapon pool instead of giving everyone unique weapons would work well too. Skills are learned from weapons, so getting a new weapon with a really good skill would make a competitive item for you cast. Should I teach my lord this great new wind spell, or my myrmidon? Of course maybe for the sake of consistency in skill sets, some skills should be locked out of some classes. Okay, I'm basically saying make the weapon/skill system be Final Fantasy IX, which it basically is already aside from all characters having unique weapons. I'd also like it if characters had multiple weapon types, like the cavalier could equip swords and lances like in OG Fire Emblem. It would make each unit more varied at would give much more control over game flow given how important the weapon triangle is.
For a game about performing arts, not getting a mirage based on FE dancer was a massive mixed oportunity, the agent lady could have been the dancer or Tsubasa herself even.

Part of me want to belive...or he could be the true MC(with the other being route exclusive characthers) as they're harkening hard to Echoes style.

At the end of the time...nope this game perfomed well as there were not RPG not name Xenoblade on WII U but at the bottom Line...this game was the worst choice possible for a crossover and the final product ailed for that, should have been an original IP when idols were introduced, since them all FE cameos are whimsical at best, just a contract condition at worst, is like atlus collapse of ideas midway and just make the worst of two worlds, seems this game ailed when they moved all the energies for persona 5, that is this is Persona 4.5 That a true crossover.
This game performed as best as Atlus send it to die and still overperfomed.

So in few word Kaga is new Retired and playing Manhong, well that happen, in general feal weir when he go out of Nintendo and was when the franchise become global... in someway that was a missed oportunity... but well that is how is life.

In general that is the question, since the Remake of FE1 in DS, simple Shouzou Kaga is like in criogenesis, Nobody know what happen to him, His company was close a few year after Berwick Saga(who was a little Sucess but still Sucessful), the last time was he giving a thought in his blog about the series 20th Anniversary.
So someone know what happen to him, or his blog in that regard?

Also, I believe the end-of-volume illustrations show the pairings Fuyuki chose. They're mostly quite vanilla.

That is why seeing the game was so familiar, still wonder what was Atlus whole issues with the concept...Seems Nintendo got something they don't want to cancel as Wii U have so little games....better a persona 4 port or remake would have been better
