If CON comes back is should be different from class not gender
High speed classes like Myrmidons and Pegs would receive probably 5 con while heavy hitter classes like Fighters and Armors would start off with 12
Then for character mods the Pegasus Knight Cordelia would receive +1 starting CON while Sumia as the Speed and skill Pegasus would get nothing to her base CON.
As for my preference no weapon weight is the best choice. Female characters get shafted for some reason in a CON world. Female fighters and barbarians would hate to be in a GBA game.

As for constitution, sure, it made calculating whether you would double or not more complicated but it also created an incentive to carrying around cheaper weapons apart from the fact that they're, well, cheaper, more common, and have more uses. Expensive weapons would double less often and Brave Weapons are heavier so they'd hit 4 times less. Once you have a lot of money you have basically no incentive to use weaker weapons anymore. I just bought Brave Weapons for everyone, bought a bunch of Tomahawks and Spears from the StreetPass characters and never looked back. Brave Weapons > Everything else in terms of damage, absolutely no contest. To me I find it ridiculous that using a Ladle or a Stick won't let you double the same as using a Silver Axe or another really heavy weapon. The lack of it just kind of took away from the game in my opinion.
But then females get screwed because of body size.. Strength AS calculations screwed mages over since its their fault their not strong enough to carry a book. With CON, my plans on making miss hero severa an axe user is ruined.

I guess it depends... I dunno really... they did introduce an 'avatar' sort of thing in previous games, like FE7 but you just can't control him. As for playable, tactician isn't such a bad starting class. They can change to any class they want anyway, at least according to their gender.
No gender locked classes please. I want to be a female berseker or a male troubador. not in a game with yourself in it or with reclassing.

In a game with reclassing and putting your self into the game, get rid of the gender locked classes. And get rid of tactician/grandmaster and let us choose our own class from the beginning. Or let tactician choose his/her own weapon. Swords are getting boring. I hate Magic.

I would love to see no more gender locked classes. I have so many females in my FE13 file that are fit to be a Dread Fighter. We should bug IS about no more gender locked classes.

Story
Used to work for the evil nation army. Went up the ranks at a very young age and reached a leadership role within the army. Deserted because of whatever garbage that happened. Later Shiro now lives in a village killing bandits and chopping wood for a living.
Gameplay
A unit that should enjoy heavy physical confrontations. Can hit hard, can take lots of damage without dying. The Wolf Beil allows Shiro to one shot armors and horses in one hit due to her high strength. Weak against bows. Her Low RES and Low Spd will kill her against magic users. Myrmidons/Swordmasters with wyrmslayers can be a problem also. Expect her to have high STR,DEF,SKL and HP for a physical specialist. When she promotes, she can wield almost anything without speed loss.

2. I have no idea what you're trying to say. ._. If you're asking if males and females will have the same caps then yes. If you're asking for there to be no con difference between classes of different genders than no. Why in the world would a small girl(Fern) have more con than a roughly 20 year old man(Rutoga)?
For gameplay reasons not realism. I know that young Fir is smaller that Rutger. I was suggesting that the female characters to be able to put on heavy steel weapons in a GBA world and be on an even playing field with the men in terms of CON weight AS formulas.

A couple of questions. Will there be a CON growth rate like in FE5? Everyone seems to want that GBA dreaded CON system back which screws over females according the the poll
Regarding Class Gender Stats will you be going for equal stats in the gender bases and caps like id the DS FE games? speaking of which if FE6 went the gender equal route, Fir would have 1 more con than Rutger.
As for promotions will everyone be able to promote with master seals or different items depending on class. I'm hoping for master seals but its your game

We just need male peggies and female fighters/barbarians. Now that STR asset for the female avatar would've payed dividends in a berserker class. Anyways heres my ideas. We should definitly find a way to get IS put put thesse ideas in FE14
-an optional mode where you get a game over if any playable unit dies.
-an optional nuzlocke mode where if the lord dies, the save file is automatically deleted. game will auto save upon character death. the save file/game can't be restarted
-different map objectives other than rout
-fog of war
-a succesor to the FE2 world map
-a balanced multiplayer where any class is viable
-a non blue hair not related to nobility main character that is female and wields axes who is experienced and knows her way around the world
-rescuing and move after actions for mounted units make a return
-non-scripted npc battles. Perhaps a map where you only control like three units and you must influence a large NPC battle to reach a goal like escaping the map

Speaking of sexism, are the female/male generic bases/caps the same in this hack like in the DS games?

I assume Mary is a female axefighter? Whats her CON? Hopefully its high enough to use a Steel Axe with minimal AS loss.

So which system of promotion do you prefer. I prefer the Tellius style of promotion. Don't have to go scrounging for Elysian whips. Just keep on leveling. Don't have to keep a unit out of battle once max level is reached before promotion. I also like FE4 since prepromotes have the same amount to grow as an unpromoted unit. In future FE games i would like to see a hybrid of the FE4 and telluis style promotions.

Blade Lord Lyn says hi. I'd prefer a female that uses lances, honestly. Or gains them, as I have mine do. And one that's required to use too, unlike Lucina.
What i meant was a lord that was locked to only bows until promition. Oh yes we need a lord that's locked to staves until promotion.

Too much to tell. A Main female lord with deep backstory. She would be an archer class at the start of the game. Make it happen IS. We haven't seen a bow lord yet. FE14. I would like to see at least one male/female character per class with no gender specific class bases or caps. Maybe choose which order missions you would like to do like In starcraft II. You should choose what path your lord could go. Evil, good, something in between which would effect the ending and events in the game. And another feature is that the main lord can choose his/her own dialogue when engaged in conversations which would also effect certain outcomes. Bonus EXp should come back fe9 style. A revamped fatigue system where fatigued characters can still participate but with reduced stats. Add in a new mode whre if any player controlled unit dies, game over screen.

So its was the promotion editor that I had to go to. Didn't remember that step. But my Fe8 promotion promotion pointer editor is not working. When I press enter to apply the change an error appears saying one of the drop box values is not valid.

I've done something similar with FE7 and I had no problems whatsoever.

Ok so I hack the class based promotion items into master seals using nightmare so any class can use it. Here in the screenshot you can see Gerik with 2 Master Seals. One is Usable and One isn't. Then you have Lute that can't use the Seal even though she is over Level 10. Any help? Also a sample of a hero Crest that I hacked into a Master Seal. 0x2D under use/staff effect is the pointer to the effect of the Master Seal that promotes any class.

Thanks. It works. With the falcon knight's speed modded/rebalanced at 30, Sheeda's Speed and Wing Spear won't be wasted on a swordmaster or Paladin Reclass.
Javelins and Hand Axes

Hand axes, javelins and magic should not attack over obstacles while bows can. Archers would love to be indoors with this change.
