That...might be a good idea, given that the Fire Emblem portion of the conversation had become a minority of the word count.

Hahahah yep, sure did say that, definitely want it continually associated with me.

I have more recently pointed out how only full blooded manaketes could transform into dragons until...well, FE7, the worst game ever made. So while it may be canon to Elibe, it's still stupid and only applies when the writers throw away all concept of effort and deliberation.

It is best game. I wouldn't even mind additions like turnwheels which may significantly alter how you play, but they smooth things over rather than break them.

    Then they would be wrong!

FE6 is pretty good, I think it's a lot closer to what people would consider a "good Fire Emblem game" than Gaiden was. Gaiden really shows its age throughout its design choices, I think Binding Blade doesn't need many updates to be enjoyable for new players. That, and I think remakes are obligated to be closer to the original than not.

    This would be good.

There are just to many units in fe6, I shouldn't have to bench them as soon they join me. It is also too long to beat some of the later levels to the point that it can become a chore to play through

  2. I need a thracia save at around chapter 8 as I've played thought the first part of the game (to Manster and a bit after) like 5 times and have no will to play through again.

Can some one give me save file for around then (with no deaths if possible and like and scrolls and gaiden chapters done and such)

    Thanks in advance

  3. I have considered doing project like reskins and balances which I may properly release one day but the reason its is kind of defeating the point for me. What I like about hacking is making new things but I will consider what  you have said.

And as for srpg studio maybe one day but I'm too cheap right now

The first one is very broad.  Perhaps you could brainstorm some particular wars from history to borrow elements from.

The second one sounds like it could have some potential, but it would be tricky to balance the traditional approach of training a limited amount of your own units alongside a more conversation-based approach of turning enemies into allied NPCs that fight for you so that both are equally viable.  I know it should be possible in SRPG Studio with a lot of eventing, but I'm unsure how possible it is in GBA hacking since I don't hack.

They both are either too long and too much of an undertaking (a shorter project would be preferable) or fundamentally flawed so that's why they have just been ideas

and regarding your first point I was thinking something like the battle of hastings

  5. Soooo I'm looking to develop an fe hack but am not able to do it all on my own due to time constraints so this is a 'call to arms' if you will of budding fe hackers to band together and hopefully make something worth a dam

So if your interested just comment on this with what you can do and we will try and take things from there

  6. Welcome to the forest!

Most of the major spoilers (at least in the black eagle root, its the only one I've played) happen pre time skip or at the time skip so you should mostly be fine, if possible just try and stick to black eagle threads.

I have Special Edition and I`m stuck in Hoshido since the game came out; too many choices. This time I might actually finish it and start Nohr..... my avatar ended up pretty broken (Dread Fighter is too OP)

I would recommend staying with hoshido as it is easier than nohr
