@Platysaur I don't think so. It looks like we can recruit everyone except the other house leaders. However, it looks very difficult to recruit everyone, especially on harder difficulties.

Wow... they all look AMAZING! I love Linhardt, Bernadetta, and Petra the most! Dorothea's cool too but I liked her pre-timeskip design better. Did we get a picture of Mercedes and Annette?

@Lord of Riva I'm probably gonna play on Normal Classic. In Birthright, I grinded in the scouting missions, but it got boring. I also don't want to be too over leveled.

Yeah, I have Lysithea and Flayn. Annette is gonna be a Dark Knight for some variety. Manuela will be my other Holy Knight.

@SpiceMan Ok, you've convinced me, I'm making her a Holy Knight! Sadly, the students I want are Lysithea, Mercedes, and Annette. Lysithea and Annette require Magic and Faith, while Mercedes requires Magic and Bow! It will be VERY difficult to get them.

@SpiceMan Will it still be do-able if I'm recruiting Mercedes from the Blue Lions? Is there a specific time when I should recruit her?

@Ririn I'm going Dark Knight for Annette. (She requires Magic and Faith to recruit, so good luck to me!) My Black Eagles builds are unique but when I try to make characters unique I'm worried they won't be viable.

I was gonna make them Holy Knights but Mercedes is weak in Lance and Flayn is weak in Riding. Mercedes: Commoner -> Monk -> Priest -> Bishop -> Gremory. Flayn: Priest -> Bishop -> Gremory. Wyvern Lord COULD work. She's neutral in Lances and Flying, and has a boon in Axes. If the Bolt Axe returns from Fates that would be a great weapon to give her. Personally, I would make her Mage -> Warlock -> Gremory or Dark Knight because of her boon in Reason. Plus, her crest occasionally conserves use of attack magic. If only the Malig Knight class still existed...

@timon Good point. Hmm... I think I'll go Gremory then. Do you think she'll overshadow Flayn and Mercedes who are also in the Gremory class? I mean... Byleth and Catherine will be in the Mortal Savant class so it's not like I need any.

His strengths and weaknesses were not revealed yet, but he was shown as a Thief in IGN's class video. Mortal Savant requires an A in Swords and a B+ in Reason. Would Lysithea with a Levin Sword be a good fit for this class or would it be too difficult?

@Azz I think that would work. Depends how early on we get him.

Mortal Savant requires an A in Swords and a B+ in Reason would it still be a good fit for Lysithea? For the monastery people my builds aren't TOO creative. (Flayn- Gremory, Manuela- Holy Knight, Hanneman- Dark Knight, Gilbert- Great Knight, Alois- War Master, Catherine- Mortal Savant, Shamir- Bow Knight, Seteth- Wyvern Lord.) I am confused with Cyril. I was gonna make him go down the Thief line but none of the master classes would fit him. So I think I'll go down the Archer line? Oh can we assign Skill Focuses to Byleth and the monastery people?

I'm picking the Black Eagles and I'm recruiting Lysithea, Mercedes, and Annette. Which character would be the BEST fit for Holy Knight? Keep in mind Flayn is recruited after a story mission and some teachers are recruitable.

Does the Dark Knight class require a Dark Mage certification?

@Azz Wow... it seems like the only one fit for Holy Knight is Marianne! Like you said though the stables should fix that.
