That's great news, and I don't have an issue paying some money for a translation (as long as it ain't full priced). I assume it will be available through Steam or something.
I tried it out in japanese back when it came out but even just the gameplay is a bit complicated when you're pressing buttons and stats you don't understand.
-
Someone who's translating the whole thing on Twitter says only SD Awakening and Fates.
This tweet just made me lose all hype.
-
So, who else thinks Kamui's redesign is based on Yen'Fay to make him an ancestor to him and Say'ri?
-
The UI looks really clean and the screens over all look nice.
Hoping mystery character X is indeed a new character just made to expand the games roster. I would not be able to handle Kris 2.0
-
It's Alphamon from Digimon holding the Ouryuken

Well, it took me a couple of months, but I finally finished the Metal Emperor.
Also if you've looked at my avatar recently you probably saw that I redid it to be a bit closer to reality.
I also did this sort of AU version for FEGame (I'll clean it up later, probably)
Also I tried to do something interesting with this fighters hair, not sure it worked out too well...

Hope I'm not too late to this party (This is what I get for not checking the concepts section for a long time)
Well there's already like a 120 characters submitted so I might as well submit one too>
Name: Dion
Affinity: Fire
Class: Sage
Inventory: Elfire, Vulnerary
Weapon Ranks: Fire, Wind (for ranks you can do whatever is appropriate to make it balanced for that point in the game)
General join time: Around mid game.
Personal Skill: Something that raises evasion rate maybe? Could be called Dodgeball King or something.
Stats: Best Stats: Skill and Speed, Worst Stats: Luck and Defense. Good Bases, Bad growths
Dialogue:
Mostly only speaks when spoken to, when he speaks he'll sometimes makes joke and references that aren't very funny like "but it was me, Dion!", despite this he doesn't really expect a response or ask if they get it, making his joke somewhat tolerable.
R-Button info: A self-taught magic user whose come pretty far despite not having a mentor, but has reached the full potential of what he can learn from books and thus decided to explore the world, still denying the need of a teacher.
Level Up Quotes:
Bad level (0-2): "Oh, come on! Why isn't this travelling thing working?"
Mid level (3-4): "I'm almost disappointed by the fact that wasn't disappointing. Almost."
Good level (5-6): "Wait progress, for real?! I-I mean, o-of course, just as I expected. See? I don't need help."
Recruitment: (Appears as a green npc during a chapter)
Dion: ...
Recruiter: ...
Dion: ......
Recruiter: So... How long are we going to silently stare at each other?
Dion: Until one of us blinks?
Recruiter: How about no.
Dion: Oh, okay... by the way I'm Dion, a travelling sage in search of "the truth" behind magic!
Recruiter: What kind of truth?
Dion: I don't know, I just made that up right now, in reality I just want to simply get better at magic, in books they always go on journey's to get stronger, so that's what I'm doing.
Recruiter: I see...
Dion: Anyway, I'd like to join your group. I know my way around tomes so I'll be helpful in a fight and I'd get to travel to more places.
Death quote: Urgh... you over there saying "uhuh, good riddance haha", I can hear yo-gh!"
Supports:
Maybe, if there's a wiser sage or bishop in the group have him/her be a support possibility where they offer Dion to teach him more magic but Dion keeps refusing their help until finally giving in, and agreeing to have him/her as a mentor.
Aside from that most supports (if he has any) will be trying out jokes on people to see if the laugh.
Recruitment conditions: Green unit on a chapter who appears on the second turn, goes to the hero to talk with them
Of course you can tweak things like the dialogue of the recruiter to fit it's personality.
PS: I'll probably refine the sprite a bit later on. EDIT: Refined it a bit.

Digimon World Dawn/Dusk is/are my favourite game(s) of all time, and the only people I know who know it, know it because I told them about it and told them to play it (those that did enjoyed it).
When it comes to games in this series people always talk about World, World 3, Rumble arena and (since recently, because it was just recently released) Cyber Sleuth.
And these two get ignored despite having arguably the best gameplay in the entire series (haven't played Lost Evolution due to the whole no japanese speaking thing, so I can't really compare it).
-
So, I've got some new sprites
(made some adjustments to this one because it didn't feel right)
I wanted to make this guy have a cool pose with him holding his hat downward, can someone with more "hands on" experience "point" me in the right direction.
Before moving on to this guys laser guns I'd like some C+C on the rest of him.
And finally, if you're a Digimon fan you might've heard that Kouji Wada, the singer of almost every japanese Opening theme for Digimon theme among many others, passed away from cancer a few days ago (the news came out yesterday), so I made this as a tribute to one of his most iconic songs Butter-Fly

But Paper Jam came out in January or February, I believe, not 2015... I remember because I was using it to keep me busy until Fates came out like a week or two later.
That was the case for America, we in Europe got it early, although I can see why you'd be confused as usually it's the other way around.
-
The only game I've bought this year so far is Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, although Mario & Luigi Paper Jam came out near the end of 2015v and a big part of my playtime has been during 2016 (Fates isn't coming here until May), so yeah they're the only options :P (although I do really like both).

This update definitely sounds promising
-
That looks pretty good, I assume the mountain tiles are still work in progress.
-
I find it kind of weird that people are complaining about the fact that with it all the things gamplay-wise it affects are lost as well.
Yet when I and others complained a long time ago about it, people said "oh it's optional and barely affects anything".
Which one is it? Does it or does it not affect the gameplay in a somewhat notable way?
-
I'm not gonna lie, a while ago I decided I was no longer going to get this game for multiple reasons.
One of them was the pandering that I would know to exist in the game and would just make me feel uncomfortable playing this game and no ability to take the characters as serious developped characters with knowledge that they were just to satisfy someones fetish.
With the removal of the biggest factor of this it's one of my bigger complaints gone.
And I've decided to buy it and support this franchise once more to show to nintendo that even though hundreds of people are whining about it, there remain people like me who support this decision and prefer Fire Emblem without fanservice.

I watched the original SMBZ sarting somewhere between 2009 and 2010, and was pretty disappointed when it got discontinued.
I like this 1st episode a lot more than the original, it's way more action-filled, which is definitely Alvin Earthworm's strong suit.
Can't really say what my favourite part was of the original, it's been years since I watched it.
I do remember Axem Red saying "It's over nine thousand!" And me not being able to stop laughing for about 20 minutes, I remember think I was done laughing to sip some water only to start laughing again and spitting water all over my laptop.

The ones I'm looking forward to (and so far the only ones I'll probably be getting) are:
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon: I liked Gates to infinity but the story was a bit lacking (although the characters were still great) hope it's more like Explorers.
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: I've been wait 8 years (almost 9 years) for this: A new mainline Digimon game is getting localized, I am unbelievably hyped for this one, I've heard great things about it too, it's a damn shame we missed out on games like Lost Evolution and Re: Digitize Decode, but it seems that this is a turning point and will secure the future of this series in the west.
-
Yeah... I respect him for doing a great job with the game he's made but calling Awakening "balanced"... No, not like every Fire Emblem game is balanced (it could be argued none of them are) but Awakening is definitely not balanced in the slightest. I guess good for him that he's able to like it?

For SNES, Leif would've been my second pick but Sigurd seems (to me at least) to be more popular and he could ride a horse which would be able to work as a ridable Luma and that he can mount and dismount for things like improving his recovery range by jumping off of the horse as well as the ability to wield swords and lances in his base stage, his playstyle could work by using rush attacks that go forward while his attacks in a vertical plain would be more lacking in things like range and effectiveness.
Leif does get a horse upon promotion as well but Smash seems to prefer using FE characters base classes.
-
I think if we have a bunch we should have representation for every "generation".
Marth: for NES
Sigurd: for SNES (also his horse could be implemented in interesting ways).
Hector: for GBA (we need some diversity, a FE character that doesn't use swords at alll would do).
Ike: GC/Wii
Robin: 3DS.
-
Sort of like this?
Also I made some edits to this guy:
-
Only in an FE4 remake, if they do it more than once it loses it's impact, it becomes less iconic and hurts the scenes effectiveness in both FE4 and the new game. (Although a lot of the new fans don't know about it, so for them this wouldn't really apply).

hey tell the truth i said "not very good" not "you suck at hair" (i went through the recording to make sure, don't make me sound worse than I am! O: )
Sorry, I remembered it wrong, my bad
I wanted you to show me something in stream so I could see if you'd improved or not :<
Oh, I probably missed that as twitch froze on me right after that (a common occurrence it seems)
and you honestly have, though like errant said, you're much better at non-human stuff than humans (mostly in the facial region)
i don't really know what to tell you, though, which kinda sucks. tbh, the spriting and shading quality of the hair isn't awful, it's just really kinda chunky and it almost doesn't feel like hair zoomed in. It kinda feels like, a pine tree, or seaweed. I think if you went less eratic with it and smoothed it out more it'd look better. Of course this could maybe just be because of the hair style you went with for this guy x3
the hair on Bancholeomon looks pretty good. Try to emulate that more? It might look better 'cause it's bigger; you had more space to work with. Shrink the scale down and see if you can make it apply to your humans.
Does this look better, made it a bit more chunky and took out some of the stray lines.
Also tried to edit the face slightly so she looks more feminine.

Someone told me I suck at spriting hair, so I'm trying to change that.
Accelerated audio issue
in Saga Series
Posted
So I've been trying to play the game on ePSXe but I run into an issue where the audio sounds like it's constantly. I've tried out using various other plugins , turning on the frame limiter and all but nothing seems to fix it.
Anyone know why? On my old PC it worked fine and it's the same iso and emulator as I used on that one.
